Yes, I did this few days ago. Didn't cook the tomatoes that long. I like them fresh and juicy. But the overall effect was absolutely amazing, though it looks ugly. It has become my favorite fresh spinach recipe.. I eat it with variety meat like gizzards, chicken hearts or chicken livers and meats like that those. This way it has an overall exotic vibe to it.
