I was always on the edge of buying a pedal like this, but since I've got into using the studio one for basic recording, I've started to create simple drum tracks directly in there and lost the interest in drummer pedals. But you really made me want to grab one of those again. Cheers, Martin
Nice one!! Really enjoyed the review for 2 reasons......1. A cool chilled out approach to a review, we learn as you learn.......2. You make me smile. Thank you.
Fun hang from last night..just finished the replay. My go to is the oldschool Line 6 JM4Looper / Band in a box...ever try one? Real recorded studio bass drum and guitar tracks..just giant and heavy by todays standards. Love ur reviews brother. No pretension just fun jamz. Good Stuff Brother Ben! 😎
Just to say, as a person with a couple of Helix-lite (HX Stomp and HX Effects), that the HX Stomp is great on a tiny board for practice, flyrig, or just because you don't want to carry around all your BOSS 500 pedals and Strymon Gi-Normo-Boxes ... so having a practice drummer is more interesting than a metronome (which the Helix boxes don't do either) .... I'm going to compare this (which I picked up cheap a few weeks ago) against the Digitech SDrum (which I bought on ebay today, so won't have for a few days yet) and see whether either will do for a solo guitarist, or whether I should just go with backing tracks ....
Fairly reasonably priced for what it does too. More money than a metronome but gives you that actual drum type sound rather than a stupid beep or click sound. Way better practice tool IMO.
Hey ben! Thanks for reviewing this. Im a new guitar player with a small setup, just an Ibanez GRGR131EX guitar, this micro drummer pedal and a Mooer SV75 tone effects amp. My problem is when I use lots of gain or any other effect it also puts that effect on the drums and distorts them. Would you know a way around this so I have lots of gain and crisp drums? Cheers, thanks for your time!
The drum pedal needs to be placed after any effects to stay clean, if the amp has an effects loop place the drum pedal in it. The only other way to have a clean drum sound is to use effects pedals after the guitar and before the drum pedal, then connect to a clean sounding amp. Cheers B
That's my next purchase, I swear it. Thank you Ben, I loved the first video and this is even cooler. Do you know by any chance if I can record the drum tracks into a looper (I have a Boss RC-3)? Thanks a lot
I wouldn't know what to do with a drummer that's always on time! Cheers Ben!!
😂 haha

Glad you enjoyed it!
and it don’t talk back or show up drunk
good vid I do have the micro.2 it’s a keeper just plain cool easy on the $🔥👍✌️
I hate practicing with a metronome but can jam all day with a drum beat. Very helpful for like minded players.
Rock on 🤘 Ben
Cheers Andy!!
That was my first thought a few secs into the video, much more fun than a metronome. BTW, that Wolfgang Special is GORGEOUS!
Nice! Many colorful blinky things.

One option is to sort of know the pedal before doing the video. Perhaps have a plan. But, great hangin out with you while you fiddled.
why does everything sound like Living after midnight?🙂
Fun Cool LiL pedal with some usable tones...!!
Cool little pedal Ben lots of options in a little pedal,Cheers.

@@BenCoombs Thank you so much for your reply, ill give that a test!
I may need to pick one up.
Hi, I play acoustic solo, can't you start a beat and turn down the music until you want to solo?
Can you...
There is a volume for the beat but it's very small and would be hard to adjust on the fly.
Great video bro!
Thanks Sis!!

If it's placed in front of the looper it should get recorded by it.
@@BenCoombs Thanks again, you rock!
I've been wanting to ask for you to do another review on this
So I imagine that there is no outtro to end a song, it just stops?
Do the sound of the guitar and the pedal go through the same amp?
Yes they do.
você sabe me dizer se ela tem ritmos brasileiros como: forro, sertanejo, pagode etc...
I do not think so.
