Excellent content & presentation
My fasting glucose, while "normal" (5.9mmol/l or 106 mg/dl) is higher than I might have expected, given A1C (5.2%) and Triglycerides (0.61 mmol/l or 54 mg/dl). I have a suspicion that fasting aerobic exercise prior to the blood draw raises fasting glucose. I'm not concerned enough to repeat the test, but I am curious. I know that gluconeogenesis can play a role in glycogen replacement during recovery, so maybe that's it.
Wouldn't LDL be a better marker than total triglycerides, if the excess fat is getting put into VLDLs at that stage?
What about accompanying rises in blood pressure beyond optimal or normal all things being equal. This can also be a red flag for something serious happening under the hood.
overconsumption of calories seams to be at the heart of the issue. makes sense , explains a lot when you look at the american population.
Why have a guest?
What do you mean? This was me on Rich’s show
@@TheProofWithSimonHill Sorry, my bad.
I didn’t listen to this. Maybe 30 seconds. I just weary of all these experts that aren’t really experts. Isn’t rich roll an attorney? 👀
What makes and defines an expert to you?
This is Simon as a guest on Rich’s show. Simon is very knowledgeable here.
Probably why Simon was talking a lot...
