🤔 I didnt do all of those extra steps. Took the 3 bolts from the top, 2 bolts from the bottom and pulled the strut out from the side. 07 Yukon Denali. 10min. Good vid though
How long is this supposed to take a professional? I have a mechanic telling me that it will take 2 1/2 hours per front strut. After watching this video, it seems he's trying to rip me off.

Good job jacking up the threads on that bolt hammering it in
You can take it out the top without removing the upper a arm and steering linkage.
Good stuff. Thank you buddy

What are the actual torque specs, some videos say 75-80ft/lbs, but this video and Haynes Manuel say 37ft/lbs?
Very informative, thanks!
You forgot to put axle nut & washer back on
Do you have to drop the truck to ride height and tighten the bottom strut bottom torqu specs?
Do you need to pull anti seize on the threads?
Interesting how you skipped the wheel hub bolt.
That seems like too much, with all that out should’ve replaced upper control a arm , inner/outer tie rod
I never put the hub caps on with a impact wrench , they are just plastic and will break.
How much torque for the big nut I don't think you showed that

And now, for an alignment.
WHAT??
