James Cameron’s The Abyss was HELL to film. It was incredibly physically and mentally rough on the actors and other staff, because the entirety of the film was pretty much shot on a set that was submerged completely underwater.
Victoria (2015) is actually the longest “real” one take to date. It’s a German film that is actually incredibly good. Also the script was 12 pages long and almost every piece of dialogue was improvised.
That movie is so good! To add on, apparently they only had like enough budget for 2-3 takes to shoot the entire movie and they managed to finish the film in the last take they had.
@@jfells4838 The director told in an interview that if they didn't succeed the third time, the movie would've been shit because they did a normal cut version and it didn't work at all.
