On my 1.4 play through with two friends we killed the moonlord 17 times, got 51 treasure bags, but none of them contained a single magic weapon so me, a mage, never got fully endgame gear :(

2.) grind moonlord
3.) get swords from other world

The funniest part for me is that I have all of these swords in chests from natural progression, but I’m on console, and probably won’t get to keep my world or character for the update.
I kept my 1.3 world when I updated to 1.4 and yes I could go there
make SURE that you remove every gravestone before console 1.4 otherwise ur gonna have a small problem

I spent about 38 minutes total on getting the materials for zenith
I finished Terraria at Mobile, But for Future Zenith i only have is have Meowmere, Terrablade, Seedler, Copper Shortsword, Enchanted Sword, Starfury.
From those what I don't have is The Horseman Blade, Star Wrath and the Influx Waver.

Oh god, the "throwing the copper sword away and then finding out you needed it and your world has tin" thing hit a little too close home.
This is why I ALWAYS save at least SOME copper ore in my world

They got significantly buffed in 1.4.1, they’re easier to get and terra blade is post-plantera now, meanwhile TNE and TE are post mech, and they’re great

I had all the items for Zenith already other than horseman’s blade, and farming for horseman’s blade was easy as hell with endgame gear.

If you guys wonder why is the crafting recipes is different from the newest version, its because this video made at early 1.4 version of terraria which the different is at the terrablade recipes.

.. however, it would be cool if the stardust set actually provides extra sentry slots... since the summon weapons moon lord drops are sentries anyway... i mean there are accessories and other armor... but it is the endgame armor...
@@kurostyx9124 the terrarian yoyo is still really good for me... altho it is outclassed by the zenith now... but getting it in a melee run first try would make farming moon lord easier (altho it is pretty hard on other devices so yeah...) but i guess it really ends up to preference...

I find it funny how night’s edge takes FOUR swords to craft, then you have to get a broken hero sword to combine with it to make true night’s edge, THEN you have to get hallowed bars to make an excalibur, another broken hero sword to get true excalibur, then combine true excalibur and true night’s edge to make the terra blade, and then after all that work, thats ONE sword out of the ten to make the zenith lol
It's all wrong
You have to combine the night's edge with 20 souls of each mechanical boss to make True night's edge
Then combine an Excalibur with 20 colorphyte bars to make True Excalibur
And combine the two sword with broken hero swrod to make the terrablade
And don't ask me why I'm replying to a 1 year old comment lol

The three things that can mostly ruin it is if you drop the copper short sword and it is a Tin world, Next is Enchanted Swords and a sword from Moonlord

Man thank YOU so much for this video because they changed the recipe for Terra blade and I thought I was going crazy thinking it took 2 Broken hero swords to make Terra Blade 1 for True Excalibur and for True Night's edge. But I remembered this video existing and came back to this amazing video to clear my sanity. Thanks for the effort I love this video alot!

You forgot the part where you kill Moon Lord 10 times because he keeps dropping Starwraths and absolutely no Meowmeres.

You didn't actually wasted your life animating, you entertained a lot of people making these animations spescially the terraria players.
When you got all the tools except the short copper sword.
Gotta love the 1.3 mentality (glad I discovered the game in 1.4).
The terrablade is now easier to craft, requiring only 1 broken hero sword in total, and the true night's edge as well as the true excalibur no longer require broken hero swords, instead you'll need the souls of the mech bosses for the first or clorophyte bars for the last. Makes much more sence in my opinion as the terrablade is the real hero sword here, even the achievement for obtaining it is called (sword of the hero).

Are you really telling me you haven't extractinated enough copper over the course of your game to make at least one copper sword? o_O
A couple corrections, 1.4 removed fake sword shrines, but they are no longer guaranteed to generate in your world (i think its around 50/50, and you can get ‘em from gold crates) and the terra blade recipe was tweaked, now the true night’s edge requires some of each mech soul, and true Excalibur requires 24 chlorophyte bars. The terra blade itself once again requires a broken hero sword, which is post-plantera now, and all the above have been buffed: TNE has autoswing, terra blade has more damage, and idr if TE got a buff, might’ve been a speed boost and slight damage increase, idk.
Sorry for the ramble, just a terraria nerd unnecessarily correcting a couple things.

The amount of time I spent and the amount of worlds I went through trying to get shoes for the terraspark, just for the server I was in to get reset and us move to modded only a few days after making them was very painful. Just for the checklist screen to bring it all back.
Now I realize that most items from the Minecraft mod called botania take inspiration from terraria (star caller, terra blade, etc)
fun fact: when you swing the zenith it breaks into multiple swords, comes back, in quick succession and then it fixes itself
