Is there option to set XLR and RCA Analog outs with high-pass and low-pass filters so to convert the RCA to SUB out and have set the XLR to Speakers. I be surprised if it did not at that price point. That be a major turn down.
Okay but did the DMP-8 lose that garbage switching power supply found in the DMP-6? If not then I'm not interested. There's no reason why a product that sells from $1k to $2k should ever use a crap quality switching supply. And yes, switching power supplies affect the sound big time.

I had A6 ME & A8 for 1 week. My Setup is E-650 with Berylliumtweeter loudspeaker. For me, both sound very similar, no different. I tested with dsd256 file.

I do not believe this review addressed this question: Eversolo A6 vs A8 when used ONLY as streamer to external DAC. Any sonic improvement in this scenario?
I was looking for a network streamer/transporter with a big display like that back in 2015 and was surprised to see how thin the market was. It was difficult enough to find any streamers at all. Eversolo DMP-6 (and DMP-8) is what I was expecting to find back then. I guess the hifi manufacturers are slow in their evolution. Anyway, better late than never!
Bigger screen should have been a no brainer, (around 10"). having a remote is good, but if the remote doesn't act in the same manner as the app it's useless, just like on the DMP6.
How would you compare A8 vs A6 vs A6 Master when both pre-amp and dac section are out of the picture? I'm looking for a bit-perfect digital streamer that is easy to control and can be its own server (either via local storage or connected USB disk) - both A6 and A8 satisfy this but since I already have pretty decent DAC, I only need them as digital server+streamer and I'm not sure whether A6 / A6 Master / A8 have exactly the same performance as pure streamers or not (usually reviewers start comparing them at DAC section but what if all of those Eversolo unit are connected to external DAC via USB - will they perform the same?).
Yes, that's what I want to know too. Some reviewers state that there's no difference between the three models when using the USB out and an external DAC...
Hey Smfins, Just wondering what your thoughts are and what you've experienced so far with your DMP-A8? I'm thinking of getting a Z8 as I already have a pre-amp and they use the same software it'd be a very similar user experience. Appreciation to you in advance!
Crazy thorough review… Sonore ultrarendu with upgraded LPS for $1.5k is “the move” for a streamer IMO. Go with separate pre and Dac while using your phone or tablet for screen. Ever solo is on the come up
Agree. I recently purchased a pre for my system (includes a Pontus 12) and man, that improved everything. BTW, it was a preowned item, at a fraction of the original price.
Thanks Jay, great video as always. Agreed, the A8 is a nice addition, but did wish when I saw it that they had added a larger screen, but then I'm sure that's a cost driven decision and personally, to keep the price where it's at and gain all the features over the A6 ... I'll live with the same screen. Thanks again. Note: Larger screen probably coming with the DMP-A8 Master Edition ... preordered the A8 in December, scheduled to arrive tomorrow (Feb 5th), we'll see how long until the A8 Master Edition is announced! ;o)
Great review as always. I always wonder the following: In case I would use the A8 fully, so incl pre-amp. I would still need a power amp. I also hear about Power amp sound characteristics, so how would this tonality of the pre amp part of the A8 be influenced by the power amp in the end? Would you choose a neutral sounding or is the impact limited?? All these seperate parts have an influence on the sound. Is there a certain rule to this? Like 80% pre amp, 20 % power amp or something like that ?
I am hoping that Eversolo comes out with a dedicated streamer that I can use with my Gustard R26. I’d rather not pay for a built in dac when I already have one that I love. The DMP line is very easy in the eyes!
Can always count on your reviews! Thank you for going into places others have not. I knew it was good…but wow. Really happy to know the dsp is a digital stage adjustment to be able to use a separate dac. Although super enticing to have this all in one, I’d handily pay about $1200 for an upgraded streamer-only version with all the new digital features. I already love my oktodac 8 stereo!🙏🏼👍🏼
Good day thanks for the great review. A streamer has been on my wish list for a long time. I think now I may be able to get one, but which one? There is a lot of talk about the a6's not having ARC. Can you tell me what the benefit of having ARC on one of these units? This will be plugged into my processor which already has ARC. Why would I use it in one of these devises? Thanks for any info!
Thanks for the thorough review of the A8. Agreed it's a feature packed thing. I am also super interested in the Athena so good to see some comparison just in terms of preamp quality. One thing that confused me - I think you mentioned A8 can adjust volume granularity (0.5-3db) but if the volume control is fully analog (?) with R2R, how is that possible? Also, if I may say so, would be great to get a review of the Athena. No-one has reviewed it on UA-cam and since you have one, you should do it :)
Is it better to buy A8 and connect it to ampli or buy A6 which connect to DAC (like Musical Fidelity MX DAC or RME ADI-2 DAC FS) and then connect to ampli?
With all respect to the efforts eversolo has taken, my favorite stays the basic version. +50% in price for the ME, +100% for the A8 does not equate to the improvements in sound. I bought the DAC module for my Accuphase and run the basic version without using the analogue part of it… at the same price point of an A8 with 2 more digital inputs available for CD etc. on highest end level.
Love your videos, Jay. It would be very helpful though to know, on your preamp reviews, if they have a home-theater bypass or not. A great many of us simply don’t have the space to have a music-only system. I must use Dirac on surround sound material, and when I use a subwoofer. Is it possible on this unit? Thank you!
hi i have on order a pair if Totem acouatic tribe towers and im looking into the ever solo a8. i have and anthem avm 70 and mca 325 thats i would like to use. if possible in my setup. I do not understand how i would need to wire up the setup. i am also minimizing my whole system from 12.2.6 to 3.2 and i would like to have a good 2.1 possibility. I also will be getting the tribe sub to add into the mix even if i have at my disposition 2 totem kin 8 sub. I am trying to figure out what the best solution would be in your opinion. and trying to understans what the dac section and the preamp section would do in my case with the Ever Solo A8. Thanks in Advance for your input. I was also looking at the future Arcam SA35
...and Eversolo is getting into hot water w people finding out they are giving review units to select youtubers for free...obviously tainting the 😊outcome. Likely happened with you as well...
Great review Jay I see that Ever Solo have removed the HDMI audio outout socket and therefore the ability to stream Multi Channel audio (DSD64 & PCM 192) directly to an AV Surround Sound Processor. Also I can't see that the unit is ROON Ready as this stage maybe this will be implemented in the field via firmware update I think ROON have a huge backlog and are the bottleneck here.
Don't need the screen. Don't need the DAC. Don't need the preamp. Need the PEQ, but I've been using one for years in Audirvana. Would love to replace the mac mini but for $2K? Too many features I don't need. Hope they come out with a streamlined STREAMER.
Pretty compelling. I’m in the market for a streaming transport and pitting this against something like an auralic aries g1.1 or a Lumin Mini. Aesthetically, I think I actually prefer the Eversolo.
That's awesome, I'm happy with my Cambridge CXNv2 but if the DMP-A8 was out when I was shopping for a streamer, I definitely would have gone for this lol
What would be your recommendations for connecting the A8 to anthem MRX?(plus anthem, MCA.) Would you use the RCA or USB or IIS? Also, do you have any tips for the best settings to use with this set up?
I have a hegel h190 and have a question. Is the aries a bigg step up for sound quality VS the internal streaming of the h190? Think also to go for the dmp 8
Hello great video as always, it would be worth noting for software makers when listening via Apple Music the album art and description could be full screen like Tidal. Alan
To each his own: Would prefer higher sample rate with fewer PEQ controls. With fixed CPU horsepower, you have to balance rate vs. count. While it is NOT a streamer, the soon-to-be-shipping MiniDSP HTx appears to have significantly more horsepower AND !EIGHT! balanced output channels -- think stereo subs, mains, and potentially super tweeters...
you get much more for your money with the wiim pro+ except balanced outputs. a screen is pointless from the listening chair anyway, where you have a phone/pad/laptop
The wiim is digital volume control and the A8 is basically an r2r preamp built in. A r2r preamp is $1000 by itself and the wiim will never be as good as that for controlling volume.
The preamp is on the level of 200 dollar or so. Just because it is r2r does not mean it sounds good. I am surprised Jay called it any good. I beliebe iiwi did a comparison. In addition, all the focus on the touch screen... Who the heck needs that when you listen to music? And the dac is good but not great. People are just overhyping it because it has so many functionalities, forgetting objective performance.
@@einarbk885whatever convenience those shitty Wiim streamers provide doesn't excuse the fact that they're going to be the performance bottleneck in any system over $400 rather than being an improvement like a proper streamer should be. The Wiim stuff is garbage made for the average consumer that has zero standards and zero experience with quality audio products.
Could you do a comparison with the ladder Bach pre and demo a8 pre amp. Feedback I have is you are better of with ladder Bach and dmp a6 combo. Given the price of the ladder Bach .
So am I correct in assuming that if I am using it as a streamer only and don’t care about the dsp, then either the a6 or a6 master will provide the same digital output into an external Dac?
The audio industry is sitting in fear. Can't wait for a vendor like Hegel to have this machine fronting their amplifiers and pedigree speakers. Remember the DMP-A6 is superior at 7.1 lossless multichannel. No one can say that.
In this video jay was able to select in the menu arc or EArc. When you select the latter does it change into an output? Hence giving you the 5.1 like the A6. I have a projector which means input hdmi arc does nothing for me only output arc hence A6 has what I need. This is why seeing jay switch to eArc grabbed my attention. A tv with eArc can receive and send out audio through the same port so will the A8 do that too?
Why do you think you need a separate dac? Was never said in the video. But is there better pure DACs out there? Ofc it is. Question is what's good enough for your budget
Good review. One feature missing for me is headphone out. As it’s a good looking “all in one” I don’t want to have to rely on another manufacturer’s head-amp in my rack as well. For my use case the Naim Unity Atom HE wins.
I listened to the Atom HE at CanJam London. I really wasn't impressed TBH. It looks beautiful, and is well built, but sounded boring with my ZMF Atrium.
Does the A8 address the lag of A6, especially when working with Apps like Apple Music. Even when connected to Ethernet port, I had to return my A6 because of the probably poor processor lag. Not that same experience as iPhone if you want to play lossless HiRes.
If I like the bright and very reveling from the standard DMP 6, can I adjust the DMP 8 to the same brightness. What I’m hoping for an all in one unit to replace Anthem STR stereo preamp. The anthem is also bright but the detail and separation is slightly better. Any thoughts on the details and separation on DMP8. Thabks
An interesting comment. I’ve just acquired a Melco N1A EX as an upgrade to my N1A and comparing it to the DMP-A6 for streaming Qobuz into a Benchmark DAC3 HGC which I’m using as the pre amp (has phono inputs for my vinyl too). It’s very close but the Melco is edging ahead because of its slightly warmer sound. The A6 found the Melco immediately on the network and you can use the Eversolo app to play titles on the Melco hard drive which could be the best of both worlds. The Melco is a great streamer for Qobuz.
.. yes please, make a video of all the dsp pro features..!!!. bearing one question in mind - does it supplement for the one thing missing?!?: room correction (aka DIRAC, room perfect...etc)
Yes I am interested in DSP explanation. I received my DMP-A8, last week, I installed an m2 ssd , it is a pain to transfer 2tb of music files( not finish). It sounds nice!
Files transfer are far too slow especially if you do it over wifi… the A8 would have deserved a much more powerfull processor … but it’s the same old ARM cortex A55 quad core as A6 … big mistake for future evolutions.
this is why you format and add your music files to the Drive before installation! very inexpensive to find an external enclosure with USB-C or thunderbolt.
Awesome units!! I can't wait to see your video tick over 1 million views. =) Kudos to some hard work paying off man!! =) Totally agree .. I'd take the A8 when I could afford it =)
Hi there is a volume pass through. It is in the settings. You can use it as a streamer/dac Check out my dmp-a6 review linked in the descriptions for more guidance, I go in more depth about how to connect each ouput and input in different case scenarios
Hi Jay. Thanks for the response. Much appreciated 😊🙏🏻 Maybe eversolo updated the firmware. As unlike the A6, the Volume Passthrough Mode in A8 is no longer in the Audio tab. It is now in the individual output connection tab. Its missing in the XLR/RCA output tab but it is available in the USB DAC Output. Oh well…
If i connect my AIWA cassette deck I HOPE the EQ work well... ( not in digital mode.. ) and i need an headphone amp.. that why i prefer a dac like RME. because i use my pc to play 80% of my music and Spotify work with pc (RME dont have analog input i think) ..... dont need a streamer really but i really want a good-preamp-and headphone amp for me....but i dont know if the dacs ESS in my receiver Yamaha Aventage sound close if i use it like a "dac-preamp".. and i use it in "direct mode" and i use the EQ of my pc... my BEST result...
Jay, I notice that there's both a digital out and an analog in. What would you think of using A8's Digital Out (I2S) to my Holo Audio DAC >> then ANALOG IN to the A8's preamp? (so using the A8's Streamer and Preamp - but not the DAC).
Too big and still no HEADPHONE AMP and jack. Fine tuning the volume won't happen with the dial, but rather the app on my phone, from across the room--meaning all the touchy-feelie stuff looks cool, but wouldn't add much to my use.
I am building a second system and will be getting an DMP-A8. I am very interested on how the A8 will compare to my reference Cary Audio DMS-700 with AKM AK4499EQ DACs(~$6k). It will be feeding a Luxman L-509x.
@@balooo2863Quick question…in going digital out to an outboard DAC (Denafrips Ares II) I’m assuming that the preamp feature on the A8 is no longer able to attenuate volume, it would become disabled? I ask because I have a Naim NAIT 50 integrated amp which does not have a remote control.. thanks for any feedback you might be able to provide.
I am not convinced that DSP functionality covers the digital output. I would buy it if that was the case. But I believe it is directly connected to internal DAC and hence affects only analog outputs
You are right. From the user manual: *DSP only works with the internal player and digital audio inputs (coaxial/optical/USB-B/ ARC), and it outputs through RCA/XLR analog audio ports.
These are interesting, but my Marantz receiver has HEOS, which allows streaming from my NAS, or playing USB music, or SiriusXM and other services. HEOS is clunky compared to the interface of the EverSolo units, but a better interface isn't worth buying another unit. What am I missing, thinking about EverSolo versus Audio-Video Receivers with streaming built in?
- 2000 € is much too high a price for equipment of this level made in China, 1200 € is already a high price to pay... - 43 cm is the standard width of a Hifi system not 38.8cm - The absence of Chromcast is unforgivable
Unless you're introducing clipping you won't damage the drivers by boosting a certain frequency range, the driver and crossover will only play what it can! I can boost 5hz on my setup all day without clipping and my sub won't care, also my sub won't extent that low, so useless but not damaging, only damaging to having a nice sound!
Hello Jay, love the video's. Wondered if you ever looked at the Denon DNP-2000ne? It is the only the second streamer I have heard and thought it was amazing. I am struggling to see how it compare to the competitors especially the Eversolo DMP-A6 and Master. Would really appreciate your thoughts.
Love the unit but the only reason I'm not buying it is because of the disproportioned screen size relative to the body of the unit. Massive oversight from Eversolo in my opinion!
He wants a hiFi rose for $1800. Not happening. This is not a massive oversight. They will offer it soon and you will cry a river because the price will be higher as It should be. I want quality, add on more options and raise the price! Keep outstanding build quality and I will purchase according to my pocketbook SIMPLE AS THAT!
I never heard the A6 but when you say the A8 is twice as good the A6 must be really a device that will make you hate listening to music. Listening to the A8 let me sit there waiting for the music to start playing. It sounded flat, harsh and thin. Nice build and features though... But I buy my equipment to enjoy music. Not to have features in a box.
DMP A-8… Who wouldn’t like it! I’m an older dude. 56 to be exact. As a true fan of this industry, I have been fortunate to learn and grow with “ALL” the offerings put forth. I need not mention them in a list. What does the future consumer look for? Ten years from now. Will the staples of amplification stay the same. The trend is already out there in the apatite of the younger person who wants…. Active speakers and all the resources to give that box what they want to feed it. I hope that the purist audio enthusiasts still exist in the future. Young listeners will hopefully learn through passion and pursuit.

no there isn't that much of a big difference
It may have been a difference if you output to a cheap DAC which you don’t own lucky you :-)
in that case, grab the master edition you can then reep the benefits of the updated clocking!

Thank you!
1:30 If you by "everything" mean except subwoofer output, no Dirac Live, No high pass or low pass filters, then yes, they added "everything"
I am looking to have in the future for the DMP A8 version with the ESS chip.
hi i have on order a pair if Totem acouatic tribe towers and im looking into the ever solo a8. i have and anthem avm 70 and mca 325 thats i would like to use. if possible in my setup.
Likely happened with you as well...
nope
Nice to hear that we can take your review with much more confidence the others ;)
Somehow, I thought I2S is pronounced " I squared S " I may be wrong though...
DSP video please
Great review, thank you!, I have a question: if this is so great, why the Lumin P1 is so expensive? How do you will compare to Lumin P1?
Don't need the screen. Don't need the DAC. Don't need the preamp. Need the PEQ, but I've been using one for years in Audirvana. Would love to replace the mac mini but for $2K? Too many features I don't need. Hope they come out with a streamlined STREAMER.
Hey Jay, you find me one for $2000, I’ll buy it from you. They go for $2700 Canadian. Any recommendations for a good headphone amp?
Pretty compelling. I’m in the market for a streaming transport and pitting this against something like an auralic aries g1.1 or a Lumin Mini. Aesthetically, I think I actually prefer the Eversolo.
FYI Auralic only has an app for iPhone. Great if you already own one, but could be a deal breaker if you don't.
As regard just to the streamer, any difference between DMP-A6 Master Edition and DMP-A8?
Thank you for a very nice explanation bro, I'm always watch your video 👏👏👌👌
i noticed the dmp-a6 has an HDMI out, I like to run an external monitor for album art etc. but looks like the 8 does not? can anyone clarify this?
anyone?
Good evening. Can active speakers be connected to the Eversolo A6 via Bluetooth? Thank you.
That's awesome, I'm happy with my Cambridge CXNv2 but if the DMP-A8 was out when I was shopping for a streamer, I definitely would have gone for this lol
i wait for the. DMP-A10😊
What would be your recommendations for connecting the A8 to anthem MRX?(plus anthem, MCA.)
Would you use the RCA or USB or IIS?
Also, do you have any tips for the best settings to use with this set up?
I have the Denafreps Aries II, Hegel h190 and elac solano bs. Would the a8 be a viable replacement for the Aries DAC?
I have a hegel h190 and have a question.
Is the aries a bigg step up for sound quality VS the internal streaming of the h190?
Think also to go for the dmp 8
Bigger screen ?... I don't need it at all !!! Save me money - remove it completly cos it cannot compete with my tablet screen in any way ! :) :) :)
Good video. I hope enough people want you to do a more in-depth video on the dump-a8. Thanks 👍
Hello
great video as always, it would be worth noting for software makers when listening via Apple Music the album art and description could be full screen like Tidal.
Alan
Great review, would like another in depth one on EQ.
I can’t wait to c the DMP A8 Master Edition 😂
oh god. I'd be troubled lol
I’m struggling with the 2X price.
well, you pay more, you get more. In Eversolo's case, it is hard to argue the price tag even at 2X the price of the dmp-a6
you get much more for your money with the wiim pro+ except balanced outputs. a screen is pointless from the listening chair anyway, where you have a phone/pad/laptop
How does it perform as just a streamer vs the A6? There are a lot of comments here from viewers who already have a good DAC.
For that price, yes I would expect a bigger/better screen.
As a steamer only would the ME be in or with the A8 .. everyone says the A8 sounds better than the standard A6 streamer vs streamer
The audio industry is sitting in fear.
Can't wait for a vendor like Hegel to have this machine fronting their amplifiers and pedigree speakers.
Remember the DMP-A6 is superior at 7.1 lossless multichannel. No one can say that.
Unfortunately not even the A8. They sadly removed that awesome function to replace it with the i2s connection.
@@BMWliterbikes4lifeinteresting what the final verdict
How does the dac in comparison to Gustard A26?
I'm pondering between these two.
How do you connect a KEF subwoofer if you use the A8 as a preamp?
What’s the point of improving the DAC to AKM if you’re just going to bypass it ? If I’m buying this thing I want to use what I paid for !
Use it then
Might as well buy wiim pro then
Why do you think you need a separate dac? Was never said in the video. But is there better pure DACs out there? Ofc it is. Question is what's good enough for your budget
Good review. Incredible products from Eversolo. Something perhaps for everyone.
Love your vids ,keep up the great work ,How does the dmp a8 compare with a Hagel 120 as pre amp streamer etc
More than double the price.... Hmmm....
No lag at all with wifi or Ethernet. On my A6 ME
Can you use the RCA pre amp outputs to connect to a RCA plate amp subwoofer while using the XLR pre amp outputs to connect to external power amp?
Yes you CAN select...
Balanced outputs on XLR
or
Single ended outputs on RCA
or both simultaneously.
Thabks
Buying an older Melco NA1, at half the price, and arguably better components inside.
Just got this. Thanks for the review. Hope they dont release a masters edition next month 😅
.. yes please, make a video of all the dsp pro features..!!!. bearing one question in mind - does it supplement for the one thing missing?!?: room correction (aka DIRAC, room perfect...etc)
yes, just male convolution filters for it
Yes I am interested in DSP explanation. I received my DMP-A8, last week, I installed an m2 ssd , it is a pain to transfer 2tb of music files( not finish). It sounds nice!
Mine is shipping. Are you able to ‘record’ directly to the m2 sad via a cd player?
Files transfer are far too slow especially if you do it over wifi… the A8 would have deserved a much more powerfull processor … but it’s the same old ARM cortex A55 quad core as A6 … big mistake for future evolutions.
this is why you format and add your music files to the Drive before installation! very inexpensive to find an external enclosure with USB-C or thunderbolt.
COCKTAIL AUDIO X45??? PLEASE!!
Vienna Teng, nice! ❤
I wonder how it compares to the auralic Altair ....?
Yea, me also, my dealer believes it trounces my vega g1
Awesome units!! I can't wait to see your video tick over 1 million views. =) Kudos to some hard work paying off man!! =)
Totally agree .. I'd take the A8 when I could afford it =)
Mmmmmmmm AKM ...
hello …. very good video… I wanted to know if it plays Dolby Atmos format from Apple Music or Tidal. Greetings from 🇨🇱
Help 🙏🏻 there is no Volume Passthrough Mode when using XLR/RCA as an output? Does this mean i cant use the A8 as a streame/dac in this config?
Hi there is a volume pass through. It is in the settings. You can use it as a streamer/dac
Check out my dmp-a6 review linked in the descriptions for more guidance, I go in more depth about how to connect each ouput and input in different case scenarios
Hi Jay. Thanks for the response. Much appreciated 😊🙏🏻
Maybe eversolo updated the firmware. As unlike the A6, the Volume Passthrough Mode in A8 is no longer in the Audio tab.
It is now in the individual output connection tab. Its missing in the XLR/RCA output tab but it is available in the USB DAC Output. Oh well…
Love the new A8 with PEQ and so on but why have they not have a Sub out? So if I got a 2.1 or 2.2 system this is not the way to go?
You can use the xlr or rca outputs to connect to a sub
It is I square s not I two s (like a to z) 😂
Jay, I notice that there's both a digital out and an analog in. What would you think of using A8's Digital Out (I2S) to my Holo Audio DAC >> then ANALOG IN to the A8's preamp? (so using the A8's Streamer and Preamp - but not the DAC).
I don’t think that would work because if your source is the streaming I doubt you could also select the analog input at the same time.
Is it possible to bypass the internal DAC? Just curious.
Yes it is simply use the digital out connections, I connect via usb into my Aune S9c dac it’s fantastic
At around 2k, there is an option for rose 250 at $2,5k. Is it better to get the DMP or rose 250 with extra money?
- 43 cm is the standard width of a Hifi system not 38.8cm
- The absence of Chromcast is unforgivable
none!the screen is just right:) btw why do streamers are much more expensive than receivers/amplifiers,that's strange?
Eversolo DMP-A8 + Galion TS A75 + Wharfedale Evo 4.4? Yes, no, maybe, not a good combo?
I think thats a good combo
@@Jayiyagi Thank you for your input, I really appreciate it!
Eversolo DMP-A8 or Coctail x45 stremaer better for buy ?
Hello Jay, love the video's. Wondered if you ever looked at the Denon DNP-2000ne? It is the only the second streamer I have heard and thought it was amazing. I am struggling to see how it compare to the competitors especially the Eversolo DMP-A6 and Master. Would really appreciate your thoughts.
AAAAAAAAAARRRRGGHH. Why did they include PEQ?! It’s exactly what I need. But I already bought the a6 when it was released 😡
I wish Eversolo would put out a DMP-A6 with an AKM dac chip instead the ESS. I prefer the smaller case size and have no need of the preamp in the A8.
HDMI earc is the most overhyped audio connection ever, how do you get multichannel audio out of this thing?
Love the unit but the only reason I'm not buying it is because of the disproportioned screen size relative to the body of the unit. Massive oversight from Eversolo in my opinion!
What would be a good proportion?
He wants a hiFi rose for $1800. Not happening. This is not a massive oversight. They will offer it soon and you will cry a river because the price will be higher as It should be. I want quality, add on more options and raise the price! Keep outstanding build quality and I will purchase according to my pocketbook SIMPLE AS THAT!
@@Pete.across.the.street It should look like the DMP-A6 but just larger.
@@Pete.across.the.streethe probably refers to the golden ratio.
The trend is already out there in the apatite
of the younger person who wants….
Active speakers and all the resources to give that box what they want to feed it.
I hope that the purist audio enthusiasts still exist in the future. Young listeners will hopefully learn through passion and pursuit.
