As much as everyone is upset with the ending, I actually like it. In the end her happy ending was her finally being happy and finding herself, her happy ending didn't rely on a love interest or anyone else really, but it instead was dependent on herself and honestly that's gold for me. It's not cliché where she all of a sudden turns pretty and now her crush finds her attractive so they date and la-di-dah and she gets accepted into society because of her prettiness but instead it actually shows character growth, it shows how much her confidence and self-love have improved, I'd take that over anything.
Facts!! The ending in my opinion is better than her getting the boy!! She realized even at the end she only fixed her weight for another person not herself so it’s kinda like another reminder that she shouldn’t have been worried about him the whole time!
That's also what the writers was probably aiming for us the audience to notice...
It's a good lesson to learn.

Tbh I detest those cliché ending except when the ml did like her before she lost weight/didn't join the bullies and act neutral with the fl(like when he's friends bad mouth FL and he kept quiet and didn't answer when he's friends ask him if he agree with them)
The fact this is a really moral story but I'm still wondering whether this guy is roasting or narrating the story 🤣🤣
I like the story and also, the fact that there is a happy ending even without Jiang being able to finally be together with her crush. I didn’t like when she started doing all sorts of illegal things and making poor choices when she received such an amazing gift. But, maybe it was a given, since she was only a teenager and she needed the wake-up call. I am glad she was able yo turn her life around.
Its not happy ending. Its only happy if the actual actress loose the weight. As i ask my niece to join army. But she like barbie. Now she end up as fatso. Its urself to blame. Not self absorbing idea. Btw i use to be fatso too. After join army. Im the hottest girl in my college. Get urself work.
Actually learning to love and accept yourself is a greater accomplishment than changing to only get someone who didn’t like you in the first place to ”like you back” because that would just prove that the other person only cares about appearance when what really matters is your personality.
So when you think about it, it’s a happy ending❤

All the things I would do if I had that bracelet: 1. Exercise like she did. 2. Make days longer so I can study more than usual since my assignment come very fast like 1 or 2 hours. 3. Check every single mall I can find and do anything I want.

"She's not even fat". She is overweight. If you can't see it, your perception of reality is distorted. You're American, I assume. I'm not rude to overweight people. Just stating facts. If someone looks or is sick (on the outside), it means they have soul-baggage. Soul garbage reflects on the outside and these people need help in trauma resolving. You can't say eating more than the body needs, is healthy.

I am both sad at the ending and at the same time happy. As much as I wanted her to get her prince we see that a lot in movies these days and it was intriguingly interesting to see that twist at the end.

Even if not the story atleast the ending was realistic, and I totally love the way this guy tells the story, with the expressions (I mean imagine how he would when he narrates XD) and phrases and everything, it's so cool, loved the way he recaped it.

Everything she achieved was possible even without the bracelet, the only hard thing would have been approaching and then dating the guy but in the end that didn’t happen even with the help of bracelet (more of the story: be confident otherwise even when everything will be there for you, you won’t have the courage to accept it)

I’ve been spending a lot of my time for others especially my family. Being a breadwinner is a big responsibility. If I were given a chance to wear that bracelet, I would alternately sleep or double up earning for my family so I could retire early.
