Wrong. Her song, Tennessee, sucks big time. Now I don't know whether she hates where she grew up or that song was a sacrifice to make the rest of her music better, but it still sucks.
Tennessee is bad. I think Bolt from the Blue is filler, but pretty much everything else is great.

Man this song makes me weep every time I hear it. All of Meg’s music is amazing but she’s obviously been through such a profound transformation in recent years and it shows through her music. I started listening to her early stuff when I was in a dark place and I’ve gotten to see her grow and change while I’ve done the same. I appreciate her so much and she’s such an inspiration to me to keep pushing through the pain.

It’s like a ‘90s alt rock song about the twin flame journey. That moment you realise your soul is incarnated in another body. They become your ‘mirror’ in a certain regard. As a Gen-X’er, that ‘90s edge is just so damned soothing. I can tell she’s channelling her music from all over the timelines. So freaking good.
If this was released in the 90s it would have been literally everywhere.
This has to be one of the most touching songs and it’s so personal at the same time meg you continue to amaze
she doesnt need our approval and she doesnt need us to show her who she is, she is beautiful and unique and that is just how it is.

Meg is awesome ! I just started with her older stuff and I am hooked. Her music is filled with raw emotions, giving the music a more pronounced physical effect on the listener. No nonsense or crazy pop culture crap just great music.
Oh wow! Her voice reminds me somewhat of the lead singer of The Cranberries. Also, what a nice mix between music and minimalist cinematography. Very enjoyable experience, all around 💙🤍
I love the visual style of this, it kind of reminds me of 90's punk rock music videos. I've got to say that I absolutely love and adore everything about the style and direction that Meg is embarking upon. I'm really excited to see what is to come. ☮️💜☺️

I really miss this sound from her. A lot of her newer stuff sounds overly processed, which I feel heavily takes away from how raw and relatable her music can be. This is like a breath of fresh air that really shows off how talented she is.

A live performance I saw on UA-cam for how do you want me w the band outside was breathtaking and her music around that time was solid she could've been and I thought was big! She had numbers. And a catalog. She had a few hits I really enjoy. I was literally about to start showing her to people recently then when I clicked one of her recent performances of how do you want me I was shocked of the change. Went from A1 stage presence presentation and performance to a solo SoundCloud performer.... The look, the sound. Idk if she thought she'd make it bigger, cut people out of profits, or she's going through something. She seemed so strong, beautiful, and talented! (And still is just idk what this is in my opinion )
@@thizzlemetimbrs8194 I can relate. I've seen her a few times in LA, first time being 2012! I am all for expression and being who you want to be, but I can't get with this. I can't imagine being a celebrity on any level. We all know how easily people sell out and I truly hope this isn't the case with her.

One of the few things that we humans are good at is empathy naturally coming from an accurate theory of mind that we then reject or deny out of fear or doubt. We are all bright silver mirrors of the other and we spend most of our lives scrambling to draw dark curtains over our mirror. So not weird at all.
Meg's depth of lyrics, strength of vocals oomph, and complexity of style is just absolutely unmatched. The closest that I could think of would be Steven Page, formerly with the BNL, since I just listened to Call and Answer & had the very same feels.
