I am happy this clones exist. G3 and MP 5 are bent /stamped steel which are cheap in production. But HK is asking unreasonable amount of money for them.
Agree 100%, though tolerances with the clones may not be the same I do agree that original HK models are highly priced, so yeah, having these really help us - every day guys - to get our hands on something nice, reliable and yet budget friendly
Just get the POF version. They're made on HK machinery using the same blueprints and certified by HK and ISO every year. Most importantly, they're battle proven. Don't let corporations exploit you. Free markets forever!
I second the recommendation for Bill Springfield's triggers. I have his polished trigger packs in both of my PTR-91s and they're excellent. Great review video, thanks!
It's not actually all that hard to do the work yourself, you just cut the hammer hook down to .015"-.017", polish it, polish the sear, solder in a couple copper trigger stops to limit trigger travel, and voila, you got a 5-6lb trigger with about .075" of travel. Free fifty free and the turnaround is an hour instead of 4-6 weeks...
@@stephenurban9880 ok, here’s the link, is not a Magpul but is quite the same quality wise, comfortable when compared to the standard one and it has a quite an aggressive texture to it. @@stephenurban9880 I honestly love Bills trigger work, the standard trigger was in comparison the worst trigger I have ever pulled - and I have dealt with some horrible triggers during my 10 years of military service- coming from the factory at about 12lbs, long pull, and horrible break - once Bill did his thing, which only cost me $120, it came down to 4 1/2 lbs, and smooth as silk, that included the buffer work as well with reduces 30-40% of the recoil.

Love the build man. What caught my eye was the cheek riser you have because im fighting that battle hard looking for something like that. Could you tell me what riser you have and where to find one?
Hey man! I can definitely help you out there, I realized after I installed my scope that the standard stock has too low of a cheek rest for anything other than the stock iron sights. What I did in this case (and I'll find you the parts, just have to dig in my emails to find it - been a while) I drilled through the standard stock and installed the one you see on the video, ain't high-speed-low dragg super tacticool operator stuff, but works just fine.
My right ear really enjoyed this.
I had Bill Springfield build my PTR. Cetme parts kit, PTR receiver, PTR 18 inch stainless heavy barrel, Magpul PRS stock and more. The gun is amazing.

Do you have a link to the Magpul pistol grip? Their site doesn't show one for the HKs.

What type of hand guard is that? I just picked up the PTR 91 MSG 18” barrel and wanted to run the same setup with the straight grip.
Is been a while since I changed it but let me do a quick search on my email and will send it up to you with a link if I can find it.
