Man, they're really stretching it with Chapter 6. It feels like we'll probably get 100 parts before we see his overblot. Can't imagine how long Diasomnia arc is gonna be probably a lot longer.
im actually enjoying the longer length a lot. i wish the first 3 chapters were longer too. esp heartslabyul. it gives us a chance to see the characters together even more intimately. if the newer chapters were shorte we wouldnt have gotten to see them, especially vil, be so amazing in the story.

Lots of people are saying that Tsunotaro will overblot, but honestly I’m not sure. I’ve probably written this is another video but I can’t really believe that Malleus will just overblot over something as simple as not being invited to events. It’s true that he, because of being the next heir to the throne of the Valley of Briars and his huge amount of magic is feared by a lot of people, and because of that people don’t really talk to him and invite him to events but looking at the year when MC was in NRC, things have changed, he got invited to go to the Scalding Sands to that one festival and I’m also sure he got invited to MC’s birthday as well. I think that for someone who’s never getting invited to anything, that’s already quite an improvement on people’s perspective of Malleus himself. Last I remember overblot occurs when the person uses a huge amount of magic that is over the allowed use of their blot. If Malleus was to overblot, he would need to use a lot and I mean a lot considering he easily fix the VDC stage and SPOILER:
He easily transformed Vil who became old to his normal self without any effort at all. For me that’s basically like using a time machine on someone, being able to turn Vil back, literally no one but him and Lilia probably knows how to. Lilia probably knows how to counter that spell but like the kind and understanding father he is, he wants to give his son a chance to be helpful to someone since that rarely happens, again due to people fearing him. I may be wrong but Sebek actually has a higher chance on overblotting. Why? Because of his hate in humans despite him being 50% fae and 50% human. This hate on humans could possibly well on hate on himself for not being able to ever be helpful to his Wakasama, not only that but he hates the fact that he was born half human to which basically means he hates himself. Maybe I am diving a little too deep into this and the producers will probably give Malleus an overblot since that’s the pattern so far. I doubt Lilia will be the one since obviously he is the most experienced in magic from all of them and even there were rumors that he even fought in some kind of war before Malleus was even born. He is also the type to calm himself down and think of the best possible way of escape or best possible way to fight the opponent, and honestly imo I think of Malleus the same. He’s always calm when faced with obstacles and even when Silver always got the gargoyles wrong he did not burst in anger and instead patiently explained where his kouhai went wrong, yes he did get a bit annoyed but honestly try putting yourself in his shoes. When you try to explain to someone about something you are passionate about and they either don’t give an f or just keep on not understanding you, of course it’s gonna be annoying. But instead of scolding Silver, he told him what he got wrong and also gave an advice on Silver about his sleeping habit and for him to be careful and also with Sebek when he’s being annoyingly loud, Malleus would just tell the guy to be quiet and that’s it. Meh I’m probably too much into this and they will probably make Malleus overblot for whatever reason they think fits which is Malleus not being invited to anything then boom he overblots. (I’m not hating the fandom or anything but this is just my opinion on the next chapter.)
I also think Malleus Overblotting seems unlikely, but in one of the videos, I have no idea which one, you can see green lightning striking down around the NRC campus. That is likely implying that he is going to Overblot and maybe even turn into a dragon like Maleficent.

Ngl, gonna be cool if he turns to a dragon but there’s no like a direct proof that he is going to overblot and for all we know that green lightning may just be for visual presentation and had nothing to do with the next chapter. I mean if you’re talking about the 1st anniversary video where there is lightning behind NRC I don’t think that that is a sign to whether Malleus is gonna overblot. I’m sure that’s only for visual purposes only and also Malleus also often uses his powers for different reasons as well. For now we don’t have anything that points to Malleus overblotting besides most dorm leaders overblotting, and honestly that also doesn’t directly tells us that Malleus will or will not overblot in the next chapter.

And we also see him trying to turn into ashes the annoying magicam monsters in the Halloween event bc they treat him like a object instead of person. Lilia was the one who stop him (so we know he was serious)
He's tired of being an unreachable rare thing, so I truly believe he will overblot, and it will be hard as hell

But I mean this is just my opinion, so if you’re opinion is different than mine it’s not my place to judge. Besides some vignettes and like two or three events we don’t really know who Malleus is, I mean we know who he is but we don’t really know his personality, or his life style as well as with the others since Diasomnia’s Chapter isn’t out yet and for some reason both Lilia and Malleus rarely are included in events, they’re only in the Halloween Event, Yasmina (Malleus) and also Ghost Marriage (Lilia). And even with the Ghost Marriage one I think it’s just an extra one since in the like episodes of the event Lilia isn’t present. So, the comment above is really just stating my opinion, I don’t really mind if someone has a different opinion or thought then me, I’d just like to share what I think might happen in the Diasomnia Chapter. Sorry if I offended you somehow.
Well no, you do got a point about Malleus and the overblot stuff. Personally i would like to see the story goes different way than just our main char overblot. But like someone said in the other comment, it likely that Malleus will get overblot since the game have to make them base strongly on the disney stories.
But if he does i think it would due to more emotional reason than over used magic. Maybe someone he loves and care dearly got hurt and he got really angry. Since we can see in the halloween event that he almost blew up the whole school because those tourists got into Ramshackle and messed everything up. And if i remember correctly, sometimes Lilia has to constantly remind Malleus to keep his temper in order not to destroy the school 🤣🤣🤣.
But yeah, i like your theory and thinking about a plot that Malleus not the one who overblot. It does sound interesting.
