Idia went through so much in just a few minutes: - panicking like hell that the very important system he created that protects the entire island was malfunctioning; - finding out the AI brother he also created was the cause and has gone rogue; - finding out his real brother is still alive and imprisoned in the maximum security prison he works in. He was ready to shut down his beloved AI Ortho but dropped everything as soon as he realized it was real Ortho and then Ortho apologizing that it will take a while because of how much he’s grown and Idia’s resolute “Leave it to your older brother,” and the magic required to help Ortho was probably so overwhelming on top of all this that he instantly overblots… This whole scene BROKE ME. And Malleus’ conversation with Lilia, my heart ACHED. Mygod THIS BOOK.
If each chapter gets crazier and darker than the one before, and chapter 6 is about destroying the whole damn world and resetting it, then I don't think any of us is prepared for chapter 7, which will be the craziest and darkest of them all. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
A few fun facts: Muscle Kurenai and Nekura Samurai have no idea who the other person is in real life. They planned to meet in real life once, but couldn't because both of them are living on remoted islands (with no idea that they are on the same island). Also, although they are good friends online, IRL they could not stand each other at all.

The main thing I am rather curious about is how Yuu fits into the picture. Overblots are supposed to be rare, but they kept popping up like crazy. I wonder what would've happened if Yuu didn't arrive in TW?
I think it will be much worse if Yuu didn't arrive. Keeping in mind overblots were resulted from negative emotions caused by bottled up conflict, kind of like Shadows from Persona and Doppel/Witch from Magia Record. Even without Yuu, overblots will still happen, but might be too late to save anyone, since they might likely be a point of no return. With Yuu in the picture, even if overblots will still happen, the chances of the victim and their associates survival will increase. This is taken into mind that Yuu's role as the strategist allows the self centered students of NRC to have a common goal and viewpoint. At the same time, the overblot victims once saved will change for the better, as seen in subsequent chapters. Yuu's true role was akin to an editor; to prevent/save everyone from spiraling down the path of self destruction. Sometimes bad things are better to happen sooner than later, in this way a more suitable methods of helping everyone will be found, with more appropriate countermeasures to be implemented in case.
Yuu is the cause of and effect of everything. "We" always end up breaking someone down to the root of everyone's problem and end up helping them get some type of closure.
My bet is on Crowley, Idia mentioned it himself - someone tipped the government off regarding the OB - and sure Riddle to Jamil overblotted in public with multiple witnesses but Vil did not. Thanks to Jamil, most people didnt know but someone who could know is Crowley
Maybe THERE IS, in fact, someone who is intentionally provoking overblots, and Yuu was called because they can help purify it or something? Let's remember that even Idia was surprised for how stable the boys were, so maybe that is why we came.

I am in tears and immense pain! The perfect slow buildup of this chapter has led to this! The game reaching into my chest and saying, "I'M TAKING THIS!" and crush it with nothing but pain and suffering. From our dear Malleus lamenting his long lifespan and the passage of time leaving him behind, to AI Ortho wanting to destroy the world and rebuild a new one for his brother, to the reunion of the real Ortho and Idia. This is the only way Idia would overblot, being exposed to so much blot his curse can't burn it away fast enough I guess?? And Grim rampaging at the end.
10:46 I rewatched Hercules yesterday and I just realized... The profecy about Hades and the Titans was supposed to come truth the night those stars lined up. It wasn't a good omen at all, and everything is going bad on this exact night 😭 spoiler alert But everyone is going to fight the Titans if we want to get down to Tartaros where Idia and Ortho are. So like, are we the Hercules in the story? 🤔 Stopping the Titans and knocking some sense into Idia? That would be fun 😂
Considering we have a monster companion named Grim,Grim's name is taken from a book of Fairytales. It has all the stories of The sleeping beauty etc. So,in this Game,we are every protagonist in the Fairytale. So as we witness the stories,The characters based to The Queen of hearts and the others,we are Alice and the other people too.
It's been bothering me for 2 years now since the Overblots keep happening frequently in half a year ever since Yuu and Grim came to the picture. But since Grim is a victim to these blots, it seems that Yuu might've unintentionally had something to do with it.
i guess...if yuu did not came, all of them would not knew grim. grim would not be the student of nrc but it still sneak around at the school and 'steal' their overblot stones. then, grim finally became that monster we all fought at the beginning of the game...
@@ywc9644 its likely the first tutorial battle took place in the timeline where Yuu dosen't exist. Based on appearance, Grimm's monster appearance might be based on the Jabberwocky from Alice Through the Looking Glass.

Im thinking it is grimm that could be the cause. (Not intentionally) we don't know what he is, where he came from, or even how he came to be. Yuu may be there to stop what ever is happening. It can't be a Coincidence that grimm ended up in Yuu's coffin.
So reading a lot of the comments, here's my take on Gim- I think he is the one that is unknowingly activating the Overblots. Idia stated that Grim has an "old magic" to him. And if I recall from an earlier chapter, that escaped bad phantoms could inhabit different things in order to hide from detection or capture. This old phantom is gaining strength by these "forced" blots by consuming those stones. My question is- Did Crowley know something like this would happen and that's why he brought Yuu over? Since Yuu's arrival, everyone, for the most part, has played well together and knowing something is going to happen is why he hasn't been super quick about sending the MC back to their world. Anyways, wonderful job as always Ayui! Your hard work on these are greatly appreciated! THANK YOU!!
There was also something odd about the introduction. The Dark Mirror said that he can sense the magic that fits NRC, the dark magic. He had us choose a dorm and a character and as a tutorial battle, the first monster we fought was Grimm. Maybe Yuu actually has some kind of prophetical dream that foreshadows the upcoming events, passages from each movie where the Great Seven came from. As a result, what Yuu probably "saw" through the mirror in his dream was probably NRC students desperately trying to fight off Grimm's possible true form. As we can see, the HP is unbalanced for both side and I don't need to battle to know that we can definitely not beat that monster. It even brought me to the question of who Grimm is irl. Some of the things Grimm only knows is that he knows NRC. That alone proves that he is from Twisted Wonderland, unlike us, an alien who got isekaied in this world. Why is NRC is the only school Grimm remembers the name of? How come does he not know many of the most known events in NRC? Moreover, Grimm also possess qualities of a human, which could probably seem as abnormal for magical creatures

Idia said "modeled after my younger brother". I had my suspicions that something might have happened to the real Ortho and I also have a few theories to how the real Ortho could have overblotted like the six dorm heads and Jamil, but maybe unlike them who survived, the real Ortho did not survive which caused Idia to make robot Ortho, from the inspiration from his younger brother who did not survive the overblot. Idia could not stand the thought that his younger brother passed away, quicker than him so he made a robot version of his younger brother who will be able to outlive his big brother and also help future generations of the Shroud family. I don't know though, this is just what I think of now.
I'm loving how intense things are getting, can you believe that this game started with stuff like fixing a broken chandelier and finding out who was cheating in the local high school sport competition and now we're out there trying to avoid the literal end of the world 💥🌍 Thank you Otome Ayui for the translations! I have this hc that maybe Lilia knows a bit more than he's letting on about the overblots and that Malleus could be in danger next, so he's got a plan to self sacrifice himself to save Malleus and thats why this is his last time. Him telling Malleus to "never forget this pain you feel today, you must carry it as you live for a long time in the future" is almost like he's prepping him... to say goodbye.
The phrase: “It makes me realize we are not the only ones being left behind in history” - shows the tragedy of fae folk. Elves, fairies are immortal beings and they have to witnesses all the changes of the world (all suffering and conflicts). The dialogue between Malleus and Lilia is so strong I can’t believe that with one dialogue in the game they were able to show better the cause of immortality than in most “adult” movies (where they cannot even show the half of the problem of immortal life). Besides I can’t wait for the 7 chapter, also my heart will be broken when Malleus will overblot. 💙🖤💙 By the way what did Lilia mean with the last phrase? Is he dying?
He did use the word "may" so i don't think so (or more likely hope not). He is a soldier that has seen death he is also Malleus bodyguard. He may be worried about a threat against Malleus life. If so then he will more then likely lay his life down to protect Malleus ( as well as silver and sebek not wanting them to die so young)

The Shrouds VAs doing the most! Aoi Shouta has to do like 3 different voices for Ortho (youthful AI Ortho, robot Ortho, more mature original Ortho), and Uchiyama Kouki has his timid Idia and animated Idia voices. Pros🌟 (Also is this Uchiyama’s first animated* voice acting??) Edit: *by animated I meant lively of course, wasn’t asking if this is a veteran anime VA’s first literally animated work lol.
I think now I understand how everything is thought out by Toboso - sensei and the development team . So, based on the Disney Hercules, the parade of all nine planets was, in principle, expected. And now an insight came to me what exactly the chronology of time in Twisted Wonderland: after looking on Google when the next planetary alignment would be, I was surprised that it passed on January 7, 2022. Lilia's birthday falls on January 1, and on this day it was possible to get an SSR card, that is, this period also happened in the world of TW, then the KR quest passed (my favorite Idia-senpai with braid ) it came in mid-January (seems to be so) and now there is a parade of planets...Although if it was a parade of five planets, then it will take place in June, which means the end of the school year in NRC... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I believe there will be one final big-bad after Malleus. It won't be the guys, per se, but the fat furball that's consumed the high concentrated blot stones.

No input from the protagonists here but purely Idia-focused (with some Diasomnia). And now a sudden overblot. And the reveal of Ortho's true self to come?? They've done a fantastic job at mixing up the formula and I can never predict where TW will go.
Honestly with how directly tied overblot is to people's emotional health, why haven't there been more overblots? And Idia said specifically, its not like the overblot happens bc someone had one bad day. They had The Bad Day that resulted after years of bad days. But that cant be uncommon... Unless everyone is living stress and misery free lives which we know for a fact isn't true.
It's also due to magic and I assume some people don't have or use much magic it seems. I may be wrong but it seems like only some people actually use or have magic

They say NRC is a prestigious school so it’s filled with already exceptional students, the housewardens+Jamil are the top students among them all. Furthermore the trauma of these particular boys aren’t the kind of stress average people would go through (a prince, a lifelong attendant to a reckless heir, an heir of a secret organization, etc.)

Unless Azul is the only merman who is plus sized and bullied, and Riddle is the only mage with a toxic and controlling parent. On further thought brought out by the discussion, this leads credence to the idea that as Idia pointed out, someone is artificially inducing overblot. (Me thinks its Crowley via Grim) Because yes 4 out of 6 came from people with outlier circumstances, but if even one person could OB coming from a relatively mundane background then, what's stopping other average folk from OB? or to flip that around, what made the average cases special enough to OB?

In Azul’s case he went so far to fix himself that he ended up becoming an exceedingly hard worker and perfectionist (see the lengths he went to for the exam guides he made and to win Beanfest. He even tried to master rolling a dice). In Riddle’s case his mom messed him up so bad that he genuinely believed to his very core that rules are truly everything in life and are actually good for you. Another person might have come out of these experiences a different way but it impacted specifically Azul Ashengrotto and Riddle Rosehearts that badly. Wow I haven’t given Crowley enough time of day to ponder his role in all this. But after what Idia said I am leaning towards the theory that someone/something is causing powerful mages to overblot easier than normal!

It's been bothering me for 2 years now since the Overblots keep happening frequently in half a year ever since Yuu and Grim came to the picture. But since Grim is a victim to these blots, it seems that Yuu might've unintentionally had something to do with it.
i guess...if yuu did not came, all of them would not knew grim. grim would not be the student of nrc but it still sneak around at the school and 'steal' their overblot stones. then, grim finally became that monster we all fought at the beginning of the game...

Im thinking it is grimm that could be the cause. (Not intentionally) we don't know what he is, where he came from, or even how he came to be. Yuu may be there to stop what ever is happening. It can't be a Coincidence that grimm ended up in Yuu's coffin.

So reading a lot of the comments, here's my take on Gim- I think he is the one that is unknowingly activating the Overblots. Idia stated that Grim has an "old magic" to him. And if I recall from an earlier chapter, that escaped bad phantoms could inhabit different things in order to hide from detection or capture. This old phantom is gaining strength by these "forced" blots by consuming those stones. My question is- Did Crowley know something like this would happen and that's why he brought Yuu over? Since Yuu's arrival, everyone, for the most part, has played well together and knowing something is going to happen is why he hasn't been super quick about sending the MC back to their world. Anyways, wonderful job as always Ayui! Your hard work on these are greatly appreciated! THANK YOU!!
There was also something odd about the introduction. The Dark Mirror said that he can sense the magic that fits NRC, the dark magic. He had us choose a dorm and a character and as a tutorial battle, the first monster we fought was Grimm. Maybe Yuu actually has some kind of prophetical dream that foreshadows the upcoming events, passages from each movie where the Great Seven came from. As a result, what Yuu probably "saw" through the mirror in his dream was probably NRC students desperately trying to fight off Grimm's possible true form. As we can see, the HP is unbalanced for both side and I don't need to battle to know that we can definitely not beat that monster. It even brought me to the question of who Grimm is irl. Some of the things Grimm only knows is that he knows NRC. That alone proves that he is from Twisted Wonderland, unlike us, an alien who got isekaied in this world. Why is NRC is the only school Grimm remembers the name of? How come does he not know many of the most known events in NRC? Moreover, Grimm also possess qualities of a human, which could probably seem as abnormal for magical creatures

Idia said "modeled after my younger brother". I had my suspicions that something might have happened to the real Ortho and I also have a few theories to how the real Ortho could have overblotted like the six dorm heads and Jamil, but maybe unlike them who survived, the real Ortho did not survive which caused Idia to make robot Ortho, from the inspiration from his younger brother who did not survive the overblot. Idia could not stand the thought that his younger brother passed away, quicker than him so he made a robot version of his younger brother who will be able to outlive his big brother and also help future generations of the Shroud family. I don't know though, this is just what I think of now.
I'm loving how intense things are getting, can you believe that this game started with stuff like fixing a broken chandelier and finding out who was cheating in the local high school sport competition and now we're out there trying to avoid the literal end of the world 💥🌍

I have this hc that maybe Lilia knows a bit more than he's letting on about the overblots and that Malleus could be in danger next, so he's got a plan to self sacrifice himself to save Malleus and thats why this is his last time. Him telling Malleus to "never forget this pain you feel today, you must carry it as you live for a long time in the future" is almost like he's prepping him... to say goodbye.
This has got to be my favorite chapter, they really know how to pull off big reveals
The phrase: “It makes me realize we are not the only ones being left behind in history” - shows the tragedy of fae folk. Elves, fairies are immortal beings and they have to witnesses all the changes of the world (all suffering and conflicts). The dialogue between Malleus and Lilia is so strong I can’t believe that with one dialogue in the game they were able to show better the cause of immortality than in most “adult” movies (where they cannot even show the half of the problem of immortal life).
Besides I can’t wait for the 7 chapter, also my heart will be broken when Malleus will overblot.

He did use the word "may" so i don't think so (or more likely hope not). He is a soldier that has seen death he is also Malleus bodyguard. He may be worried about a threat against Malleus life. If so then he will more then likely lay his life down to protect Malleus ( as well as silver and sebek not wanting them to die so young)

He not only kept up with Malleus but still managed to beat him. He also shows no signs of slowing down. Besides for all we know they could be immortal but they are not invisible. I think now I understand how everything is thought out by Toboso - sensei and the development team . So, based on the Disney Hercules, the parade of all nine planets was, in principle, expected. @@grandpa6065 I think the mage also needs to have strong magical powers to overblot. They say NRC is a prestigious school so it’s filled with already exceptional students, the housewardens+Jamil are the top students among them all.
Furthermore the trauma of these particular boys aren’t the kind of stress average people would go through (a prince, a lifelong attendant to a reckless heir, an heir of a secret organization, etc.)
@@fawnthorus4910 Yes, barring the magic thing, the special background wouldn't exactly encompass Azul and Riddle who are comparably mundane when held up against royalty and nobility. Unless Azul is the only merman who is plus sized and bullied, and Riddle is the only mage with a toxic and controlling parent.
On further thought brought out by the discussion, this leads credence to the idea that as Idia pointed out, someone is artificially inducing overblot. (Me thinks its Crowley via Grim)
Because yes 4 out of 6 came from people with outlier circumstances, but if even one person could OB coming from a relatively mundane background then, what's stopping other average folk from OB? or to flip that around, what made the average cases special enough to OB?
@@grandpa6065 I think the backgrounds alone don’t measure the kind of trauma they went through though.
In Azul’s case he went so far to fix himself that he ended up becoming an exceedingly hard worker and perfectionist (see the lengths he went to for the exam guides he made and to win Beanfest. He even tried to master rolling a dice).
In Riddle’s case his mom messed him up so bad that he genuinely believed to his very core that rules are truly everything in life and are actually good for you.
Another person might have come out of these experiences a different way but it impacted specifically Azul Ashengrotto and Riddle Rosehearts that badly.
Wow I haven’t given Crowley enough time of day to ponder his role in all this. But after what Idia said I am leaning towards the theory that someone/something is causing powerful mages to overblot easier than normal!

So far all I can think about is the Time Loop Theory and that Lilia has said 'This may be my last wish' before because of the Time Loop Theory if that's the case then he may be implying that when Grim goes into Overblot and destroys the Mirror Chamber and the school; he will kill people by the falling debris, perhaps Lilia is killed by trying to protect Malleus or Silver or something.
