Last night when you went live for the Denton tornado I began listening to the police scanner there. Words cannot describe what the police, fire and ems went through. From a lady who did not have oxygen because power was out and her son was not police friendly, to missing children, fire dept stuck in their station, gas leaks, countless walking injured. Police loading cars up with injured. My point being... You could have and probably did save lives last night. That is huge. I just wanted to say I have enormous respect for you and please keep doing what your doing. I live in hurricane country in NC and knowing you are out there keeping an eye on things makes me feel more comfortable. Again your impact is huge. Stay safe and thank you.
@@S-TECH-61323 It made me aware of how important everyone is during these disasters. My heart breaks for all of those who are injured, lost their homes and lives.
Yelleville, Arkansas. Last night my sister woke up at 3-4 am right on Crooked Creek. Took a DIRECT hit. They ran to their lower level and barricaded the door. She said the house felt like it was lifting. They are lucky to be alive. The damage is sooooo bad. I pray that tonight won't be as bad. I'm praying for everyone. Keep Anne my sister in your prayers.
Thanks Max! Thank you for going live again late last night. I know that has to be exhausting, but the potential lives you help save for people to get to shelter is so important. Thank you again for what you do!
Man, things blew up last night; we turned over to Ryan Hall after you signed off then checked back in before bed and found you on stream. Kept it running overnight. We are north of most of the action but still have folks in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Good luck and God bless today, and thanks for the service you provide.
I'm in the yellow, I believe. Praying for everyone who has been affected by the tornadoes this tornado season and those in the path of these severe storms.

@@Bone89 I don't believe in God/prayers either, but I still hope for people, even though my hoping won't make a lick of difference to the outcome. It is a human impulse, regardless of whether you believe the outcome can be affected, which not all religious people believe that their prayers affect any physical outcome. Most religious people who pray in these circumstances don't just sit in their living room or standing outside through a severe storm relying only on praying God to get themselves and others through it. They let others know about the risk, pay attention to the weather reporting, and take shelter as needed. I don't know why on these comments, invariably another atheist feels compelled to make these remarks. Do you believe they effect any change in outcome?
a tornado tore up my hometown of sikeston, missouri this morning. destroyed several businesses including taco johns and Bo's BBQ. A tree also fell on my grandmothers house.

I always prep before the storm, especially if it's predicted to be during the night. My basement will contain everything I can store safely, but quickly grab once the storm passes, such as spare clothes/shoes/purse/backpack/food. Of course, all the other stuff for storm prepping, that can just stay there. It's easier knowing its already where it needs to be and I can focus on making sure everyone else makes it to shelter! Stay safe tonight!!
