I hope this video inspires you to craft lots of different posts on LinkedIn! Let me know what sorts of posts you're doing on LinkedIn already (or will try now)!
This is gold! IF you want to understand the semanthics behind a LinkedIn Post... Please watch this video. I'm in the middle of a flight right now! and I find your videos so interesting. Great structure, easy to digest. Is a 10 minutes of note-taking delight! My Second-brain is getting some great knowledge here!
Great summary Brooke. I'd perhaps suggest one addition - or ask your thoughts on it rather - and that is the value of someone finding a format and content that might not be necessarily chart topping, but is true to them and shows them as authentic as possible?
That's an excellent point, Johan! In the end, if there are certain formats that someone gravitates towards, they should focus on those formats. Thank you for pointing that out!
Hello Brooke, thank you for the theme. My question is, what do you think of photos being presented in a gif file? I am an Architecture & Real Estate photographer and I am using LinkedIn for B2B marketing. What is your opinion for a Photographer on LinkedIn? Thank you!
You're asking a great question, Gelly! I don't have a definite answer, but it would be super interesting for you to try GIFs and see how they perform against single-image (JPG, PNG) posts. GIFs are rarely used on LinkedIn, so they could grab your audience's attention more. Regardless of how you present the imagery, make sure that mostly all your posts are educational, since that's what's working now on LinkedIn.
Brooke, thank you, for taking the time to reply! The educational content gives me the opportunity to work on it. It's quite challenging to move out of the image content and go into more text/graph content. But I will try it, as posting only photos, doesn't really work. The content moves around the 'same people' of my contacts who like the post because they know me in person. @@DelawareShoutOut
Thanks for asking! They did away with the carousel posts that have images and videos, but not the PDF carousel post (technically called a document post), which is still very much alive on LinkedIn. I hope that helps!
After watching your video, I posted a LinkedIn post and it was on fire. Thanks for the tips. www.linkedin.com/posts/harditsingh88_servicenow-javascript-lowcode-activity-7154006104899764224-PTkM?
Love this video! Thank you for sharing these best practices. Quick question, do you recommend to share posts using your LinkedIn profile or your LinkedIn business page?
Thank you for kind words! To answer your question, share posts through your profile whenever you can. The algorithm greatly favors profiles over company pages. Thanks for asking!

Thank you for your kind words, Ivan! I‘m so glad you‘re enjoying my videos! ☺️
Really helpful video Brooke. It was worth the 12 mins. Thank you .
I'm glad you found it helpful, Steven!
Cleared my mind about posting, learned a lot from a single video.
By the way that 8:02 "BUY NOW" 😂😂 was awesome
I’m glad the video cleared your mind! 🙂 And I’m glad you liked the “buy now” part. 👍 Enjoy your day!

+1 for exploding kittens, love that game
Indeed! I also love the “personality” of the game. It’s proudly quirky.
I thought LinkedIn did away with carousel post?
