Isn't the 1st rule of visiting another country is to respect their laws, because they might be different to their own? And to think we live in a 3D world, we can actually position ourselves behind the camera that was filming....evidently mind blowing to some.
Could have cut this short by telling Chinaman that in the UK you forfeited your right to privacy when you choose to be in public. You could also add that in the UK, American law doesn't apply to Americans just as Chinese law doesn't apply to Chinese people. And that both countries have got no business, trying to force their law upon British citizens.
