DISCLAIMER: This video is what worked for MY hair, which is naturally very straight. I explain my hair texture and type in the video, but if your hair is super curly or dry or just very different from mine, I would not recommend these tips.

Girl I agree with almost everything you said except about not brushing your hair in the shower. I have this thick curly hair and it’s a must. Brushes don’t go through this head unless it’s wet
Kiara Enid that only means you are using the WRONG brush.
You’re not supposed to use a brush on curls anyways... rather use a wide tooth comb and ur fingers
Elianne Wallenius no it means she has curly hair and us curly girls aren’t supposed to brush our hair dry, ask any hair dresser or expert. Different textures need different things.
My hair is naturally straight so I was directing it towards people with straight hair texture 😊 but I hope the rest works!
same, but my stylist told me to do that. and when my hair is dry i'm only allowed to brush it and untangle it with my fingers. idk it sucks
My hair grows fast last April or 8 months ago I had around 12 inches of hair now I have almost 24 inches of hair my "secret" are
- Drink LOTS of water
- if your hair is damaged just cut off the really bad ends PLEASE (I did because if you don't your new length will just continue to split)
- Don't over brush your hair
- Sleep with it in a loose braid
- Don't shampoo too much
- Don't wear it up a lot
- NO HEAT!!!!!
Yeah that's it I also use coconut oil every like 1 to 2 weeks on my ends and a little on my scalp for a massage! ♥♥
Thank you for the tips 😊😊😊
I cut it and than it doesnt grow up couse i have new end damages soo 😏🤷♀️
thx man .. im like REALLY desperate to grow my hair really long
The hair up is my problem. Because I only wash once a week I wear it up after 1 day for the following 6 days. It has definitely damaged my hair.
Hi how much time does it takes to grow 10 inches or shoulder length hair after shaving head?
I’m a licensed hair cosmetologist and everything you said was spot on! 😁 great video 💕
fauxsmiles do u any more tips? :)
Please can you make a yt video since you are I really need help with growing out my hair I have been trying egg and oil and stuff like that can you do a daily vlog? So we can go threw it everyday?
You can get money from it to if some people see it
Do you think biotin helps to grow hair
a tip for you guys is when you’re trying to do something for your hair try to watch videos of people with the same texture or type as your hair it helps more thats why some people won’t find something that actually works
I GROW 10 INCHES YEARLY. NO HEAT NO COLOR. FRUITS AND VEG. BIOTIN. 😊
Trump 2020 gotta love biotin😍 helps me grow my eyelashes and hair out faster!!
really? I always had hair till my hips and this year in june completely ruined to the point I probably have to shave it bald to rehave my thick healthy hair. So if you have any useful tips that could help I would really aprecciate it. Thanks xo
I shaved it because I'm infatuated. So this girl's messing up with me. But to think, right now, I can remember that my hair grew about 10 inchs in a year. I do not use shampoo. And I eat lots of veg.
must be nice
How long before you noticed the growth when using biotin?
My hair is currently mid-thigh length. My hair has always been long but over the years I've cut it from time to time between knee-length and waist length. However, I'm 70 now!!!! I have dyed my hair for years now...just the roots, Loreal. My hair is long and thick and people never guess I color it. Loreal holds its color so well! And again, only the roots need the color, thanks to Loreal. I saw an old pic of me with nearly knee-length hair at 18...my hair looks EXACTLY the same at 70! My point is: if you love long hair, don't think you have to cut it at a certain age. Be patient, the less you fuss with it the better...and enjoy :-) Nice video, beautiful woman!
Aww thats lovely 🥰 i will be 40 in 2.5 years time & im only now starting to grow my bob out. I would like it waist length if possible xxx
I think that brassy, as you call it, color looks great with you skin tone. Reds look great on you.
Christine Tirpak yeah I like it too yeet
I’m trying so hard to grow my hair waist long
Girl waist length hair looks great but it is SO DIFFICULT to manage. But I hope you get there and get that hair! Good luck
Horse Round with Me Omg same!! How long is it now? Mine is 9 inches from my ear 😭
Same omg but its literally just shoulder length and it makes my face look so big Lmao
Same here. Actually I am trying to grow my pixie cut.
My hair already waist length and i want to reach butt length now. Wish me luck and good luck to u all ❤❤
The only reason people hate trims is because bad hair stylists I bet, One woman was cutting my hair the same length for a year until I noticed --.---
That's why I need to I don't want them cutting off more than I want
LiveLaughElizabeth lol
LiveLaughElizabeth you can dust your hair at home. Takes time but it works
Try looking up "Feye's self-trimming method"; Google it. It will give you pointers for a blunt cut, U shape or V shape, no layers. I swear by it!
LiveLaughElizabeth right !!! I asked for a trim and she cut off a lot ! My hair grows fast tho
You need a natural wooden bristle brush. It's the best for your hair. It more gentle on your hair. Look it up :)
You give me hope to help my hair grow! I’ve been putting off going to get a trim for over 2 yrs but I’m finally going tmrw! I want my hair to grow 12inches in less than a year 😩 You’re hair is beautiful btw 😍👌🏽
I had a mental breakdown and shaved my head 😭 pray for me guys
Stopped watching u for a couple months and i feel today that u have grown so much . Subscribed !

I don't want this to be hate but, wet brushes (in my experience) do NOT work on really thick or dense curly/wavy hair. Wet or dry. Those brushes aren't strong enough for those hair types.
No worries it's not hate! What have you found that works for curly hair? That way I can recommend it to my followers.
I've found that the Conair paddle brushes work well. They're strong enough to get through my hair but gentle enough as not to break it. However, it does brush out my curls quite a bit so they don't look as good. I do use a wide toothed comb for when I want to wear my hair out/down so my curls don't come out as waves. I also have a question about sulfates. Could they work well for really oily hair? I've found that if I use just a bit and really make sure to scrub my scalp it works okay but, I'm still not sure if it's all that great for my hair.
mirellabellebeauty I’m a curly girl and I’ve been using youre tips except straightening and my hair has grown 6 inches in 6 mounts thanks
I have *extremely* thick, naturally curly hair that is hip length and met a friend who we now call each other hair twins. At the time, those were the items I used, a super wide tooth comb and paddle brush and my friend told me the Wet Brush would change my life. I don't know why I didn't try it sooner but I love it so much that I bought one for the house, one for the car, one for my backpack and one for my husbands truck and one for each of my girls! I get asked about my hair *ev.er.y.where* I go. I'm very thankful for it because I know a lot of people can't grow their hair!
Works do me !
Girl, you look great! Your smile is perfect! 😍
I agree with everything you said, these tips really help with the hair growth. Please make a video on how you cut your hair, that would be amazing 😊❤️
Thank you so much! And I have an old one, I know I need to make a new one!
Genetic predisposition is a huge part of hair growth or lack thereof.
I don't think this works for everyone. I have friends that do all those things & can only grow their hair for 6inches a year. Then there's me who doesn't use any of these products or trim it every 2 weeks and my hair grows also 12inches a year. I think it depends on your genes. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
Absolutely true. Most stuff is just gimmicks. Hair growth mostly depends on genetics. The average hair growth is 6 inches per year. Some people cannot grow their hair past their shoulders, but the average max length is 2-3 feet I think. Healthy hair is more important than length. My hair is just over 3.5 feet. I don't do anything to it. Used to dye it yearly for many years but now it's too long. I never use any heat on it, only shampoo and condition twice a week with nothing fancy, don't brush wet (straight, fine hair). But I also have not had a cut in almost 2 years since my barber left and the others all refuse to cut it because I'm female (bad experiences with female hairdressers in the past many times). It has a lot of split ends so I'd like a foot off, but everyone always thinks it's healthy because it's shiny. My diet isn't good ha. Genetics.
Tashina V your eating habits helps your grow your hair the most, nails and hair needs vitamins to grow strang and shiny, I noticed that when I got healthier my hair grow faster
its a mixture of your environment and genes
@@KK-jl8em I'm not healthy at all though. But I know that's true for some people. It's kinda weird how some things like healthy food can effect your hair growth like that. Just like water, it is true that drinking lots of water makes your hair stronger, more shiny and healthier. Only for me it doesn't work, it's never been split at the ends or less shiny or less healthy, it's weird.
@@qp4904 if your hair is that long you can try and cut it yourself ! its reaaaally easy honestly! especially if you wanna just cut the ends
i used to bleach/color my hair a lot, but it's been a few months since i dyed it black and i'm planning on keeping it like that until it grows to just under my chin, and it still grows almost/at least an inch a month. i think it mostly depends on how you take care of your hair no matter if you use heat ot bleach, etc, and your genes are very important !! i am hawaiian, and hawaiian hair is honestly just gr e a t . whatever you guys do to your hair, think of your genes and what type of hair you have !!
I always LOVE your favorites videos or videos like this where you’re recommending products. Your reviews are so helpful and I really like that you are so conscious of the ingredients- i have started reading the ingredients on everything now because of you. I have been able to find so many products that work for me by watching your videos so I just wanted to say thank you!!! 💜💜💜
Omg thank you so much that is great to hear!!
I’m doing everything you said in this video to help my hair grow and more. I’ve only put highlights in about two weeks ago and I have shoulder length hair. It takes so long to grow. So hopefully in a year, I’ll have the same length as you! Your hair is so pretty btw 😊💕
I stopped coloring it. Stopped putting heat on it. No straightener and no airdryer. I didnt rub it with towels. But i did comb it in the shower since i have curly hair. It went from my shoulders down my butt in 3 years. Very beautiful and my curls was amazing. Then i decided to go blonde from black and guess what. Its to my shoulders again :)
Can you make a video on how you exactly mixed the artic fox to get the dark brown, I’m having the same problem
My hair is blonde, very fine and very thick, I never brush my hair wet, I just started taking biotin vitamins, use heat protectant and don't put a lot of heat on my hair and it grows about 8 inches a year. Thanks for all the tips, I'm definitely subscribing and coming back!
A lot of you have asked me what custom mix I used to color my hair back brown. There is now a much easier solution! It's called overtone conditioner. It's just conditioner that can deposit color, and it comes in brown!! overtone.co/pages/basics
I took your advice and trim my hair every time I straighten it (every 2 weeks) and literally each time I go to straighten my hair it’s almost an inch longer, which is crazy! And plus with the often trims, your ends are already in good shape, so you’re really not cutting a lot at all.
The point of trims is to get rid of split ends so I don’t know what you. Doing trimming it every 2 weeks also straightening hair is very damaging
Selena beauty and vlogs Hernandez straightening you hair every 2 weeks won't damage your hair lmfao
straightening your hair too much can cause heat damage and split ends (which is the result of damaged hair)
Nikolova Magd yeah you’re right. They say you can straighten it 2 times a month and that would be perfectly 2 times.
@@ezzy8122 How often should you trim them? I just got a hair cut and had to let go of half my hair( cuz of how damaged they were) and starting on the recovery journey...I would appreciate any hair care advice
I just cut all my hair off, and found out I’m pregnant so it’s already growing fast but I’m at an awkward stage right now and just want it to continue to grow. I’m going to try and make a video of my year process to prove your theory works and follow all of your tips! So hopefully by next year this time I’ll have that 12 inches
If you have curly hair, do brush it in the shower when it’s wet and when there is a lot of conditioner on it !! start brushing (with a wide tooth comb) the bottoms and slowly and gently work your way up. When you can run your fingers through your hair smoothly, rinse the conditioner with COLD water and your hair will feel bouncy and fresh :)
I get my hair trimmed every 2-3 months and by the 3rd week of getting my hair trimmed, I can see at least half an inch of growth. The girl that cuts my hair has good hands (a Mexican thing) lol
val cornejo finally someone that understands the “good hands” thing that’s why I’m always so skeptical when it comes to cutting my hair cause some people just don’t have good hands and my hair kinda stops growing like it slows down
It is not only a mexican thing, it is also an arab thing😄
JiYeon Unnie rightt green hands
val cornejo got that right.
we definitely have the good hand thing in our culture however it doesnt mean that its true lol your hair just grows fast girl!! and its great
Love this video!! Very helpful because I have long hair that reaches my hips. it's hard to take care of, because I have very very frizzy hair. What worked for my frizzy hair was Treseme shampoo & conditioner with Keratin, Moroccan oil for after shower, and coconut oil before I go to sleep.
My hairdresser says that my hair is so healthy that I didn't have any split ends. I use coconut oil, aloe Vera and castor once a week over night and I take skin and nail vitamin, which has helped tremendously I only condition half of my ends and I use large tooth comb.
Your hair looks so amazing! And you look soo beautiful ❤️ Fave youtuber!
I always brush my hair before I shower & then I forget to brush it when it’s dry but since I have naturally straight hair it doesn’t even look like I didn’t brush my hair.
Same!
Your natural hair colour is beautiful girl! Rock it 👀🔥❤️
Could you do a tutorial on how to trim your own hair?
I have a suuuuper old embarrassing video on this channel if you want to see it haha! I was like 18 when I filmed it (I'm about to be 25 in a few weeks if that gives you an idea of how old) but I still use the same technique.
Anyway you could link it or do an updated one? I can’t find it...I found the one where you are cutting layers in your sister’s hair......
Also, if you use the attic fix colors on your ends again to get them brown-please film it. I have never used it and am wanting my hair to be my natural color all over as it all grows out....
I just go through my hair just cut the dead ends every week !
oh that 'brassy' tone looked gorgeous on you!
Your hair looks so healthy, my hair used to be like down to my belly button, when I grew it out, then I cut it and it grew long again, and this summer I cut it to my shoulders, and now it’s not growing as fast as it used to, but I wanna grow it out again, so when I get my paycheck lol, I’ll try these products, especially the maui shampoo and conditioner because i’m allergic to sls so that sounds really good.💜
Good luck!!
mirellabellebeauty Thanks girl💜💜
Same my hair used to be so long I cut it cuz people kept telling me to now i regret it. I am here trying to find a way to grow my hair quick.
Try to remember to massage your head every night. Its free to try :)
I love your little eyebrow raise at the beginning 😂❤️❤️
You forgot about taking cold showers because it is good for keeping your hair shiny and strong
Thats only at the end of the shower not the whole time.
Evelynn Soledad yea lol
happy sheepy lukewarm water love , super hot & cold aren’t good . lukewarm is good !
Lukewarm is great because it stimulates your scalp and where does your hair grow? From your scalpppp
Yessss!!! No one is hip to brushing hair before the shower and I can’t understand why
This is like my second time watching your video because it popped up in my feed. Keeping my hair dusted every 3 weeks- a month and trimmed every three months. There is so much info on the internet about trims and everything. Fingers crossed I can have longer hair pretty soon :))
Marie Foster what does dusting mean? Thanks
@@bbjonas4233 it is getting rid of the split ends only without you losing the lenght
I hate trimming my hair. I only cut less then an inch evey like 6 months bec of split ends. I DO NOT trust any one with my hair with cutting so i do it on my own or my mom does it.
My hair tangles EXTREMELY easy. I always brush my hair before I shower and it's still gets really tangled when I get out :(
Celena Hurst my hair always tangles if I have too many split ends, maybe try cutting your hair if it’s damaged and getting a good leave in conditioner? That’s what I did and my hair doesn’t tangle as much anymore, I also got a silk pillow case and a microfiber towel to ensure my hair doesn’t break easily
Putting argon oil on your ends and all over your hair will prevent tangling. :) I do this each and every time after I wash or if I brush and if my hair is dry. Especially in places I know hold tonnes of tangles.
I know you made this comment 9 months ago, but try brushing your hair IN THE SHOWER when u have conditioner in it
Try to only shampoo your roots and don’t rub your hair in the shower try to only gently brush your hands through your hair gently
i swear by apple cider vinegar hair rinses for detangling and making the hair so smooth and soft
I had hair to my bra strap and I've cut off all of the really dead hair (bc of hair dye) and it's now just above my shoulders. I'm going to grow out my hair but keep trimming out the leftover dye so I can have hopefully have long virgin hair again.
Penny Thomas Ayyy that’s exactly what I’ve been doing! It’s been a few months past a year tho since I’ve been doing it and honestly having to trim off the dyed parts is a very slow process. Right now my hair is a bit past my bra strap but there’s still SOOO much dyed hair left, not to mention the color being super faded :/
You’re not alone! I choose my products based on smell, effectiveness, and definitely cruelty-free. If it smells bad, I hope it’s at least magical! Haha
OMG I know what you mean about people brushing their hair after the shower, and when they just start at the top and rip down 😱😱😫
i saw that shampoo at walmart and contemplated buying it. ive discovered that the shampoo i have been using with sulfates has been FRYING my hair. i think i will get this one next. or ANYTHING without sulfates
i use a wide toothed comb in the shower and brush carefully while the conditioner is washing out and theres never any fallout or breakage. i think its perfectly safe
your eyeshadow is soooo pretty!!!
My hair grows pretty fast too. I had lots of split ends because I wasn't taking good care of it and I was really rough on my tangles. It ended up giving me lots of split ends so I just decided to cut it just below my shoulders. Now I'm working on growing it back out again.
Its been 8 months since i have shaved my hair... But my hair didn’t even grow 4 inches 😑😑😑😑
Mine grows 7 inches a year i feel so desperate to reach my goal of growing rapunzel like hair sometimes.
I am curious what your recipe was for making the brown using Arctic Fox colors. I want something close to my natural that's semi-permanent, but that doesn't seem to exist! I went with demi-permanent last time and it turned out too dark and refuses to fade. I think my natural color is pretty similar to yours.
Girl you are so pretty!! i also brush my hair before going into the shower. I have a big wide comb to brush my hair when its damp. funny thing is, I have maui as well! i love that stuff! i had the blue one! and now i'm on the red one! so so in love with it. works wonders
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a tutorial on how to cut your ends pleassssse. You seriously know how to explain things and I’m looking to grow my hair but don’t always want to go to a hair salon to do this!
Random (and late af lol) but that lips painting in the background is lit 😍
I grew about 4 or 6 inches in like 6 months, I barely applied heat onto my hair and I kept wearing it curly
I remember last year damaged my hair every single day and I cut my trims every month and now I’m taking care of it and getting a trine every 6 months and OMG it grew soo much I still hasn’t grown to the point I want but it is growing
your eyes are so pretty!
which exact shades did you use from Arctic Fox to create that brown shade?? and if u have leftover dye, do you think you could film a short video on what measurements you did to achieve the brown? THAT WOULD BE SUPER HELPFUL THANK YOU
Finally!!!! Love you!
At 8:40 I’m so jealous! My hair is curly and thick and I am never able to do that when my hair is styled for the day 😭
I used to have polka straight hair. Like I would wake up, adjust my old little fringe and be good to go. No brushing. Nothing. So I got it cut into a pixie.
My hair ended up for some reason turning curly and it didn't work in the style I cut it into. I need to grow it I can't take vitamins or something pls help.
I also didn’t like the it’s a ten with keratin smell but the original it’s a ten smells amazing to me ♥️
my hair has been short for 2 years because i keep cutting it literally don’t know why i’m so sick of it but i get bored growing it out after 5-7 months and cut it again
The picture at 3:44 😍 I WANT that color 😭
I cute my hair and it’s a little over 12 inches so I’m praying that it will be double the length before I start high school, i cut my hair before summer and my hair grew so fast because I stoped eating meat and cared a lot about my diet, when school started I cut it again and I feel like it’s not growing as much.
One of the best videos out there
Thanks 🔥🔥
I am trying to grow my hair to waist length, my mom said she won't let me go any longer than that because my hair is so THICCC and she wants me to still be able to care for it properly
I just dyed my hair black and I hate it. I ended up being able to get some of it out but now it’s a light brownish and I have senior pictures next summer so I want it to grow out fast. Hopefully this works!
I had really nice long thick hair that went lower than my hips...but my dumbass decided to cut it shoulder length and now I have major regrets...I hope it grows back quick
My hair was like that too,but i got sick of it and how hard it was to take care of it.Now i miss it😔
If that bamboo shampoo smells like their bamboo deep conditioner then I agree with you 110%. Their bamboo deep condition is one of the best smelling hair products I’ve ever smelled and the smell lingers. I also use it a a leave-in as per their instructions.…
Omg I am so glad you said you choose shampoos based off of smell because I literally just googled “sulfate free shampoos that smell good” 😭 my stylist recommended me one but it smells too chemically 🤢 I want my hair smelling like I just came out of a Caribbean vacation!! 😭
Girl sameee
your hair is beautiful! it looks so shiny and healthy!
I'm really interested in what ratio you mixed the arctic fox to get that nice brown, if you remember please share!!
I avoid all heat at all cost if I need my hair dry I use my fan lol and I don’t straighten my hair or anything
Trisha Meloling same I don't use any heat at all
I straighten my hair once or twice a month only so 1 week ill wash it then straighten it. By friday thats 5 days I’ll go without washing it and keep my hair up. Next week repeat.
Also take cold showers
My hair grows really fast and I cut my hair in late November almost December to right above my shoulders and it's now June, and my hair has grown 6 1/2 inches in 6 months, the normal length my hair should've grown 3
So... I'm a guy older have heavy hair , shoulder length it grows abt 10 inches a year , it's all natural , now salt n pepper going to grow 3 yrs see where it's at. 14 months now no cut
Had it deep conditioned once salon gal said no split ends and let it grow
I wish my hair was naturally straight so i can stop adding heat but I have frizzy thick blonde hair. The top is straight the bottom and by my scalp is wavy/curly and dry so I have to hear style it daily
Oh my God. I found my twin siiiisss I get you. Mine is really curly by my roots and the rest is just frizzy and wavy. The top is straight (besides the very roots) and I'm blonde too! I literally just stopped using heat like 2 weeks ago. I'm NEVER going back. Now, I use conditioner (and leave it in for like 2 days) on my roots (the curly bit) I want to grow it longer
Chloe's World you should try the curly girl method, you probably have naturally wavy hair it just has to be trained.
Roller sets
@@tarledamanley2832 This. You don't have to necessarily use heat.
It's hard when you have textured curly hair that shrinks , my hairs growing but it's shrunk
I had to cut my hair short bec of the split ends i used alot of heat to straighten bec i have very curly hair it was by my butt and now its about 3 inches under my arm ...i am planning to grow it back longer than ever
My problem with using wet brushes is that, because my hair is so thick and curly, a wet brush only untangles the first layer of my hair. If I were to use a wet brush everyday, I would probably spend 45 minutes to an hour a day brushing my hair. I have to use a similar brush, with more bristles, but it is all plastic so my thick hair won't break the brush. With more bristles, you are able to brush more hair at one time, and it takes a shorter amount of time. Other then the whole thing about the wet brush, this video was really good feedback!! Thanks B!!
Can you please tell us what proportions did you mix the Arctic fox dyes to get that dark brown. Also, which purple did you use as there are a few?
hey girl ive seen your videos before!! i used the red bottle of maui and i loved it.. i also thought sometimes it made my hair sooo flat... but my hair is 2 feet long right now but i cut my ends if i see split ends.. i dont do heat or hair color or anything... i do comb my hair before i shower! great video
Keep on growin'!
Could you do a video on how you dyed it with the artic colors or post the names of the 3 dyes?
I have really wavy and dense hair and whenever I brush my hair when it is dry it puffs up and gets really frizzy uncontrollably so what should I do to tame it without having to brush it while wet?
You have beautiful hair! I grew my hair this year as well, and it is almost as long as yours now. I am going to try out your tip, and try trimming my hair every two to three weeks. Also - I saw the tutorial you posted on the look you are wearing, and its gorgeous! Love it. ❤️
Yay thank you! I also just cut my hair after I made this video hahaha.
I love arctic fox!! I just dyed my natural hair with purple rain (it worked thank god lol) and it smells sooo good and so vibrant!
Good tip about remembering to trim your hair. Thanks for reminding everyone. I keep up on trimming my actual hair, but I always always forget to trim my bangs! I am trying to grow my bangs out, therefore I am never wanting to take scissors to my bangs.... but I always wonder why the rest of my hair grows faster than my bangs and now I know..... I never trim the dead ends off of my bangs!
My hair is very nice and straight and long but i cut it and i used to cry every day 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
i cut my hair short (an inch below my shoulders) every year & then i let it grow out from sept. 2018 and now it’s to my waist but i want it longer😔
I forgot to add that I personally have the REVLON black and pink paddle brush blow dryer and its amazing and about $45 from Ulta. I do also wanna try other brands where the paddle may be bigger and possibly dry faster. Try it out and your HAIR GAME will FOREVER change, I promise you that.
Hair goals!❤️
My hair grows so much and I do oil treatments with it!!!! That’s the secret!!!!!
Which oil is good for hair growth
Which oil would you recommend?
Love your hair! I have never tried a dry shampoo, but I will after your video..
how did you cut your hair every two weeks? you do it yourself?
I’m in the process of growing out my hair as well this is helpful thank you very much
thank you so much for the video! your hair is beautiful!!! 😊❤️
My problem is greys. I can never go without dying because I don’t want the greys. Does the non chemical coloring work for greys you think?
I've never colored my hair all my life and my hair is a little longer than bra strap length. I don't use any type of heat on my hair and I also don't color it. I don't curl, straight or blow dry it.
I have normal hair which is not thin at all but I do have a lot of split ends and I want to grow waist length but I want to speed up the growth process..any tips?
Lali Baloch try using castor oil mixed with olive oil or coconut oil! I massage it into the roots of my hair before i wash it and it really helps to make the hair grow faster!! :) i recommend doing it like every other month so that your hair doesn't get used to it because then it wont grow as fast as if you take a one-month break:)
You first need to cut off the split ends otherwise it will be fragile and break on its own
Use castor oil. I recommend a mixture of castor oil and coconut oil (because castor oil is really thick and sticky so it's hard to use on its own), heat it up and rub it on your roots (doing the inversion method, search it on UA-cam cause its easier to understand) and length of the hair. Castor oil helps a lot with hair growth and coconut oil helps to moisturise hair like crazy, so you have hair growth and less slip ends. Do it like twice a week and leave it for 3/+ hours. Good luck
Ashley Dand If I do that I will have short hair
Cut off all the damage and focus on preventative measures, such as oil treatments on the lengths before shampooing to protect the hair from harsh chemicals, and good leave-in moisturizers afterwards. Try some gentle organic sulfate-free shampoos. Always wash your hair with lukewarm water, hot water is terrible for your hair. Also, style your hair in a way that would protect it (braids, buns, etc., just don't make it too tight, or you'll get traction alopecia. Remember, if you want nice hair, you gotta baby it.). Oil treatments on the scalp don't work for me personally (they make my hair fall out, ironic enough), but so many people swear by them, so give it a try. The only thing that works for me in terms of actually speeding up growth is vitamin supplements, my favourite is Perfectil, but you can find a variety of supplements for hair, skin and nails on the market (of course, do your research and talk to your doctor before taking any pills, don't just listen to strangers on the internet). I found that supplements improve not only the speed with which my hair grows, but also the texture.
P.S.: and for God's sake, when will people realize that the advice to cut your hair every 6-8 weeks if you wanna grow it out is bullshit? You need a trim when you ned a trim. Point blank period. I can go for 6 months without getting split ends, cause I'm that meticulous with my hair care, why would I want to cut it more often than that?
