Wow I cannot get over how beautiful Guatemala Mexico City looks this time of the year. 🤭😎
All those fir trees!;)
and the dedication of the hairy caveman drifter, he drives hours and hours every day from canada to mexico just to drift. Legend
reminds me of Canada
3:29 I didnt realize they had Petro-Canada's in Guatemala...
@DARK ONE 😂👍
you can see the consistency of his drifts in the lines he leaves, great stuff
Right, he 99% mimcked his first run
I thought that as soon as I saw his second run, I honestly think that if a big sponsor somehow got colton an extremely competitive setup he'd annihilate people. All those years of driving stock to near stock volvos has trained him to have all of the basics of sliding a car down to a science.
@@Mousyy definitely this
@@Mousyy those real drift cars have wiiide tires tho and crazy hp, different beast. colton would need practice
I was coming to comment the exact same thing lol
Amazing road, definitely worth the drive to Central America.
Wheel hop is good for making chocolate milk while driving
Lmao chocolate milk in the rear diff!!
I don’t get it
@@Stealth164
Ok wheel hope will break everything in the drivetrain! The shaking and impact will just explode the metal.
Plus the heat from the work of spinning those tires it will over heat the diff fluid and go milky.
Real bad!! Really bad!!
@@mikewest5529 just weld the mf problem solved.
Wheel hop is like an impact drill and self tapping screws
Can we just talk about how he kept the same line even with wheel hop🔥
Haha i didnt even realise how identical the second set of tire marks was
3:10 a kid was in one of those cars using the on ramp, and you just created a life-long motorhead as you drifted by 🤘🤘🤘
was gonna say the same!! We all have that memory somewhere where it all began!
love how this man just closes the road himself lmao
Anything is legal in Mexico
Makes me want to turn my 1st gen into a drift truck, looks like a fun time. Gotta make a petition to get initial D remade with 12 valves...
there arent enough drift trucks in the world, def do it
10/10 should do would be legendary
Don't have a 1st gen irl but I'm putting a 1st gen body on my rc drift car. My irl 2nd gen would kill me If I made I drift rig.
Cummins drift IPA, made with only the finest wheel hops
9:48 your riding the exact same line, that some consistency
If your truck still has overload leafs, try clamping the leafs to the overload leaf with leaf spring clamps as close as you can to the hanger on the frame in front of the axle. Like free traction bars and works really well.
Can confirm, works
Second that
It’s simple. I see 12v and drift in the same sentence, I watch.
Also this is the first video I’ve seen of your channel and it’s awesome, it’s cool to see the less professional side of Motorsports !
literally my favorite series on UA-cam
Put an extra shock on the rear. Should stop the wheel hop with more dampening
Needs traction bars. Shocks won't stop the axle from twisting. Extremely stiff leaf springs would also sold it, but then you don't have suspension travel.
@@240sxRule or maybe a longitudinal shock to remove axle forces. just a bandaid tho
@@0xsergy The axle is rotating in a radius. Wherever you place the shock, it will do the same thing. Shocks are meant to dampen and slow rates. Not stop them. The axle would overcome the shocks, just as it is doing now. You need completely solid bars to stop it from moving.
The srt 10 ram has an extra shock to stop wheel hop. It's almost horizontal. Mount at top of diff cover and goes towards front of truck mounting to a cross member
That off ramp slide was some delicious gravy!
Wasn’t expecting a Tokyo drift!! Damn definitely get my like! Carried a lot of speed. That my friends is a REAL drift!!! 💯
One of the greatest vids I've ever seen! Good stuff gentlemen!
If Takumi was American, his dad would own a small burger shop and will do deliveries down an American Mountain pass with a First Gen 5.9 12v cummins drifting flawlessly and delivering the burgers down the mountain!
I love this raw street action👌🏽 amazing content!
Wow just amazing. Pro level drifts my guy 😉❤️
The last time I found your channel it was the tesla drift video, this is gold bro. I'm super excited i found your channel again. Good shit drifting the cummins
Always look forward to these!!!!
This is the first video I've watched of this channel and DAMN this boy can drift. I am pleasantly suprised. Good sh*t👌
I just subscribed I love drifting and we don’t see a lot of drift trucks so if this content is consistent I’ll continue to watch and like
2:47 sweaty palms know that feeling all to well lol
first video of yours i have ever seen and this is one of my crazy ideas i have had. you made my crazy idea a reality and i dont care if it is the worst driving or drifting vehicle in the world, it is so crazy unique. i love it man
This is probably the coolest video I’ve ever seen
Your wheelhop marks on the ground look like the lane markers on a highway 🤣🤣
Dude you’re pretty consistent with your lines, good job love the truck.
Finally UA-cam is recommending me local creator's. Subscribed!
Drifts N Lifts badass truck and your awesome at drifting bro 👌
Nice driving buddy. Hope you guy stay safe and get the wheel hop under control!
You’re an absolute savage man, that was pure entertainment.
I ran into a similar issue with my first gen. I do have traction bars but as you said, it was suspension travel because I am missing 3 leaf springs. I ended up buying an air lift towing setup for the rear and I use an on board compressor to air them way up when I wanna slide then air down when just normal driving to soften my ride back up. Best of both worlds. Worked well for me, figured I'd kick that idea your way. Awesome content also!
I love this channel!
I really have to thank you.. I have been watching you over the years . I have to say as a youtuber driver I am going to say YOU ARE a strong top 2 dude no question ...
How have I just found this channel now, this is great!
The single cab, long bed looks great! That's the same way my Duramax is, and I love it!
Loved it. Great video and very good driving!
Had to like after the first drift🤘🏻
Finally someone has the gall to drive these trucks close to their potential. I always figured wheel speed was why you never see a 6BT do anything like this but I never understood why it took decades to figure it out.
Hell yeah brother!!!! Keep it up buddy!!!
Dang man definitely get those traction bars ordered! I agree with adding a leaf as well.
Super cool to see. Thank ya mate
this vid makes me smile always
12V drifting while simultaneously rollin’ coal? That’s definitely up there on the list of bad ass things I’ve seen. It’s too bad that I couldn’t have been there to see it in person! Excellent video man, thanks.
That off ramp slide was too dope!
Bro no way that so so sick!!!
love to see local content! i just saw those massive slide marks up that road the other day lol
Love you vids man been watching for awhile can't wait to see the truck finished. You should do a Volvo V8 for the lack of power save a little money never the less keep it coming my dude
this is literally so sick
Freaking sweat man I just got a MINT 93 Volvo 940/944 gt b230ft , turbo car . My grandmother has had it since new , it’s been the most well maintained one could ever be , she ONLY serviced it through Volvo and always maintain routine maintenance, it’s immaculate inside out , looks brand new , it’s got 180 grand on it but it’s literally never been outside garage after just driving to store or church or short drives . Can’t wait
That was sick as hell!!!
Love the one cone block off
haha i'm not really a diesel fan, but that was impressive.
just the sound of it gave me goosebumps
Man this truck is awesome
Niiiice ,true drift 😁
You have new subscriber
I love the sound that the tires made when you were drifting.
Dude thats badass, i seen some car drift in europe but never cummins
Playing Easy Lover for drift intro… Solid 👌
if you look at the two lines were, you gotta know this guy is damn consistent
Amazing how much more aggressive a manual transmission gets. I have exact same setup, just an automatic transmission. Well and it has a flatbed which isn’t light.
Subscribed because you drifted a Mexican ramp I think about drifting everyday.
That truck is laying some rad skids!
Props for the clean driving even while fighting the wheel hop. Can’t wait to see it with the suspension sorted out.
Ya I’m shocked he didn’t break something in the driveline with all that hop
Thats crazy how he ran the exact same line 2 times....i was watching the tire marks just lay on top of each other hahaha..nice driving man
Dang I hate leaving those wheel hop skid marks!!
Sweet drift tho!!
I battled the hop in my 2013 F150.
Stiffer leafs helped. Air up those tires too.
It will cut down on the size of the hop.
Good luck and can’t wait for more
You're a maniac brother. Inspiring me to start tuning up the old 12 valve again and learn how to drift it proper.
Dont let it sit
@@dancearoundtheworld5360 it's my daily I'm always working on it too.
wow to see how good this man has gotten just by swinging underpowered shit boxes making him a beastttt the steez this man has is insane
Love the Phil Collins song n the entro
This man is wild yall 😆
Ur a good driver dude. Ive never watched ur edits before for some reason. Fuckin a man, respect.
That’s some driving right there. Just subbed up
I mean for real! Mid 90s dodge are hard enough to keep between the mayonnaise and mustard on a drive to the store..this champ is whipping it like Vin Diesel wish he could ..
This is wicked!
dude thats the sickest
I like the no BS presentation. To the point, Burn up some tires. Nice channel
I just fell in love sheeesh my boi
Over 2k in view in 6hrs... Ur killin it Kolton!!! Dedication=payoff.. 100k subs coming soon!!
Dude those winding roads out in the woods look so dang fun to drive on. I know of some roads like this here in TX but they're a few hours away
UA-cam algorithm wins again…subbed’
That's so badass!
No bucket seats or nothing, you got some skills
The flick when she swings from side to side 😶🥵
my favourite cummins drift bro
Oh my god look at the consistency of his line 😯
That whistle 🐌 😍
This was sick, y’all should definitely go back and do it again and get drone shots
I'm from México , and this time of the year we see a Lot of drift climbs
Cal-trac and some fresh shocks will take care of it even though its made for the drag strip it will be better than those suspension binder you call trac bars. The shackle on the rear of the leafs swing back to accommodate the longer spring when it is being compressed. If you lock your axle down with a hard mount to the frame and Trac bar the leaf spring will bind and shackle won't work. So cal Trac is a much better option im my opinion 😌
I had similar wheel hop i couldnt find any reason so i used some stiffer shocks n that helped
ngl, i saw that intro and subscribed
Those two cars passing bye got a free show
7:34 was commitment well done
This is stupid cool. :D
YOUVE GOT A NEW SUBSCRIBER MY FRIEND
Epic 👌👌🍻 I drift my dodge , they are fun. I go to the boat launch it has a fun figure 8. Awsome Togue 🤘🤘🤘
This would be a good addition to a eurobeat meme compilation.
Definitely need a 4 link setup with good dampers, to rid the bad wheel hop.
Nice driving.
Wheel going crazy
so good!
