My daddy Long Legs ep 08

My Daddy Long Legs (私のあしながおじさん Watashi No Ashinaga Ojisan?) is a 1990 Japanese anime television series based on the novel Daddy-Long-Legs written by Jean Webster. The show was part of the container World Masterpiece Theater produced by Nippon Animation studios and was awarded the Excellent Movie Award for Television by the Japanese Agency of Cultural Affairs for Children in 1990.
Webster's story had been adapted into anime previously by Tatsunoko Productions in 1979 with the TV special Ashinaga Ojisan, which was directed by Masakazu Higuchi. The aforementioned special was dubbed in English and released in the US and is otherwise unrelated to this television series.

Aw, poor Judy! Her letter to Daddy was so touching. I'm glad she got a reply and all those roses - reminded me of Masumi sending Maya purple roses in the classic manga Glass Mask.
And they do a really detailed job on the letters in this series - actual writing! In English! In cursive! In print!

This anime really have an effect on me haha, this was a part of my memories together with my mom. And Im gonna finish it again. Watching it in March 2016!
