  • -Check out my website. I would be happy to make an unfinished guitar, bass, or any string instrument for you. The standard method to support what I do here, both as Ideas and projects that you will see on the channel. Do you have an idea that you think would look awesome in one of these videos? Let's make it! If you need a router template set to make your design, I make those too!

Beautiful work, I can’t wait to see more videos! Did you carve the neck angle into the joint?

Thanks, Yes, that's what the wedge milling in the beginning does.

How long did that take in real time? I am a member of your patreon and would like to start trying things like this with my xcarve. Thanks for the vids.

The milling, or the fitting? most people think of the CNC as a production tool, for me its about accuracy and repeatability, I work very slowly.

@@TwoCherriesIns It's the milling I was wondering about. I know even a simple sign can take an hour on my machine. So I just figured neck pockets and pickup and control cavities could take all day.🤣

@@jackwilson3875 it all depends how you go about it. The complete cnc milling for this instrument, all the parts, is probably 2 hours of machine time.
