It isn't just women who have an obsession with their phones. My husband had been ill and his grandson came to visit him. Even though he felt terrible, my husband made the effort to get out of bed and get dressed in preparation for his grandson's visit and the young man came in and sat down and immediately got on his phone and started talking to his father who lived right next door to him in a town about 140 miles from our house. I was cool with that for a little while and then I told him I had a great idea. I said "Instead of sitting here with your grandfather and talking on your phone to your dad, why don't you drive back to your dad's house and call your grandpa and talk to him on the phone. That way he won't have to get dressed and he won't even have to get out of bed." He hung up his phone.
I am constantly amazed at how rude people are with their phones. They carry on the most intimate conversations in public and I'm really not interested in hearing about what a jerk their boss is and how their boyfriend mistreats them and how hard it is to find a reliable babysitter, etc. etc. etc. Can't you wait until you have a bit of privacy to make calls like that?
I was watching a YT video of a surgeon who was removing a bump of some kind from a guy's leg and the guy got on his phone and talked and talked and talked and the surgeon was standing there waiting for him to get off the phone so he could ask him a question about the procedure. Finally the surgeon had to ask him to please get off his phone and talk to whoever that was after he left the doctor's office. If that isn't rude I don't know what is.
I'm walking out and ghosting that girl if she did that to me. If she dont have time to actually try, I dont time to waste on someone like that. A high value woman is one that looks you in the eye with her phone away and genuinely talks to you and wants to get to know you better and capable of listening while also dropping her guard a bit willing to tell you her situation and whatever she wants to talk about. But both Men and Women have to learn to keep the conversation going.

Had to get out of my party phase myself first before I realized this.
Watching that last video clip reminded me of a time when I was sitting at the bar once eating lunch on my lunch break and this girl with her boyfriend was sitting next to me.
The girl was right next to me and the boyfriend was trying to talk to her, but she was just ignoring him and playing with her phone.
She kept angling the phone away from him so he couldn't see her phone.
I looked at her phone and she's messaging some guy about how she's at the bar with a " girlfriend" right now and how horny she is and she was organizing a time to meet that night with him for a quickie in her car .
And just when I think it can't get more disgusting ,she stops texting that guy and starts texting another guy and starts talking sex with that guy.
Meanwhile the boyfriend sitting with her at the bar just finally gives up and stops talking to her because she's not answering him and shes just ignoring him.
After a little while the guy stands up and pays for her bill and tells her that he's got to get back to work and asked her if he can take her to a movie that night and she flat-out lies to him and tells him that she's supposed to go to her sister's house.
That's when I realized she was using that guy for free drinks and food.
Something has definitely changed with American women in the last few years and it's not good.

I'm 58 and I am also ashamed of those girls too. Our generation weren't raised like that. Rule number 1. Look your date in his eyes to show him that you are listening to what he's saying. Rule number 2. Lean forward and engage with him. If you don't do those things, it shows you aren't interested in him. It's good to ask to ask him where he is taking you so you can dress appropriately. It's really sad the way these girls act.
I did this social experiment for a couple years. When I was out in public I would eavesdrop on what women would talk about among themselves. 98 o/o of time, two categories; they talked about themselves, or they talked about other people. That's it. No current events, no history, no insight into human affairs, the environment, litererature, ideas, trends; in short anything that is actually interesting. The flip side of this is if you are actually allowed to have a conversation with them, and you talk about any of the above topics, you will be shunned and rejected. The phrase they always use, "oh I hate politics." As an amatuer sociologist, my theory is this is a major way that free speech is shut down in America. Because men want to get laid (duh), they want to get their wicks dipped, and if they displease or offend a female in even the slightest way, they will be disqualified. Not only cannot they talk about anything of importance with women, they can't even be seen talking about such things with other men. Then they are said to be "negative," thats the world they always use. The result is that free speech is shut down in public (very ironic in the land of the free) and public discourse devolves to the level of about lets say, about ten year olds.

I had my wife get on her phone to talk to her adult sons on our second anniverary dinner. Just glued to phone.I just got on my phone and stayed on it too. All dinner. Got home stayed on the phone for an hour. Went out cut grass planted flowers came back in and got on phone. She said give it a break you on phone too much. I told her you stayed on phone the whole dinner. She made excuses. That was a bad day. It's sad how most people in this world prefer lies over the truth. My honesty gets me disliked in general too. Things would be much better if people could just be honest with each other and not allow their temporary hurt get out of hand. I'm sensitive but I still appreciate honesty and get over the temporary hurt. Nothing lasts forever unless you choose to cling to it. I've thankfully found a wonderful person who loves me and shares my views on the important things, so it's a harmonious relationship. She has one bad habit. She bites her nails once in a while. We've been married for 43+ years, the last 40 have been peaceful and fulfilling. Took 3 years to get used to each other. Hi guys. I am old school German. Let me give you some good advice.
1. If somebody not shows up to an appointment e.g. date, leave right away. Because it proves you are not important enough to that person to be in time.
2. If you enter the restaurant, talk to the the staff e.g. waiter before, that you request a split bill and also prepare some cash in zour pants, which match any amount of a possible bill of you. So if the date becomes a nightmare, easy to pay and leave.
3. Watch close you dated girl table manners. If she put or uses her phone, it is a red flag, because she is not willing to spend the whole attention to you. Leave as fast as possible.
4. Another red flag is, if she shows up with kids.
Finally. Since we all know that prostitution is illigal in the US, the girls use OF etc. to do it. Also. many see it as a way to get a free fancy dinner.
The guy's at a car show, of course he's going to go to the car, not the ladies. That is common sense!

I have had some awful date, and one that was great, so I married her

When I first met my girlfriend she had lots of male friends BUT.... none of it was sexual. The guys were all like brothers to her and were very protective and basically kept sl;eazy predators away. We';ve been married 44 years now and I'm so glad I met here.

5:00. Reminded me of my best Sigma moment. I went to a machinery expo with an engineering friend. Saw this big shiny machine with all kinds of gears and slides and pistons and stuff. 2:10- let's be realistic - if women were fun to hang out with guys wouldn't spend all their time hanging out with the male buddies even after they get married. Guys would hang out with a group of women instead of his buddies if women were tolerable.
