Thanks for a great review and the info on the features. I just bought these a couple of weeks ago to replace my Airpods which were losing battery life. Thought these would be more compatible with my Samsung phone, etc. The reason i hadnt purchased galaxy buds before is because i despise those rubber tip things. I got them specifically because they dont have that and are similar in style and fit to Airpods. The NC feature is not that important to me because i like to be aware of whats happening around me. I guess its all about personal preference but I like them.
I feel you. Manufacturers don't seem to give many people an incentive to try them these days, especially when they don't fit. Samsung used to make some over the ear headphones that were pretty good, but for some reason, they stopped.
hi. did you notice any charging issues with your buds? for some reason, my buds stop charging in the case if they are outside for more than 30 minutes and i need to jump-start their charging in the case by plugging it to a usb-c cable
Hey I'f got the (regular) Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 (white). I am using the Buds 3 over 24h : no issues at all !
I saw that you commented that you bought them in white, is the texture on them the same or similar to something like the airpods? If so, that may be exactly why I have the problem of them not fitting.
@@WIHRC Thanks for your comment. Sorry I don't know, I'm a Samsung Android user. I think it's the same kind of material, but probably there is a difference in shape (and also I am just a lucky guy with the shape of my ears in combination with the Buds 3, white)
@@WIHRC the grey Buds3 in comperison to the white ones looks and feels different: grey buds3 have mat plastic and the white buds 3 have shiny plastic (in my opinion white buds 3 do have a better grip in my ears)
@evc6436 thank you for confirming. That is exactly what I was wondering. It seems like the white ones would have the plastic that has more friction to it. I'll have to update this video with a common saying that.
Good thing it doesn't happen. It's really one of the worst sounds you can hear, especially when out in public. I was always weary of how ANC would work without tips, but I wanted to try going in without a bias, and I almost got hearing problems because of it lol.
Just to make I understand, are you saying that when moving your arms, the music skips as if your arms are coming between the connection? Similar to the way a wall would interfere with the stability?
@@WIHRC yeah. If I swing my arm behind me, it disrupts the audio. Not only that, I can have my phone on my desk and if I turn my head to fast the audio also gets disrupted. The range though walls is also shorter than my previous buds 2. Running with them is okay if the wrist is kept high and forward of the body. Maybe I have a defective unit.
@sot8343 Yeah, definitely sounds like a defective unit for sure. Have you tried reaching out to Samsung yet? I know their customer service isn't the best at all, but I think they're trying to do extra well to serve anybody who's having issues due to all of the delays.
Samsung admitting this is the first step. The second step should be a redesign to the upper part of the earbuds, but we probably aren't going to get thst lol.
I traded in my buds2 for these and it was a laughable downgrade. Incredibly cheap and complete failure in design. ANC was legit non-existant. Impossible to control with the stupid touch controls. If they were 5 bucks, id still feel like they were a rip off. Could be the worst thing samsung has ever made.
I couldn't agree with you more. I had some assumptions going in, but honestly, I really couldn't be bothered with how poorly executed these buds are. I was hoping Samsung would learn their lesson from past experience, but it seems like they haven't. Hopefully, you're still within the return policy.

excellent analysis, I found it very interesting, I come from the FE buds, soon get this version
Much appreciated. I hope these will fit and work better for you than they did for me.
Love mine. Sounds great. Much better than all the other galaxy buds ive used.
@@jimmytu1 hmmm okay good to here, thanks for your comment: well in that case... I want to give the buds3 a try 🆕

I was never a buds guy. Last buds i got were from Temu for $7. I mainly use headphones. Maybe one day they'll make some headphones? Great review.

O right, I forgot that those were out around the same time the Beat craze was.
I'm pretty.
Sure. This is just an updated version of the Galaxy live total.Redesign but sticking with the open ear model
I wanted to buy these in white but now I don't want this crap anymore, thnx for this review
Glad the info was helpful. If I wasn't trying to be fair with my words, crap is what I would call them also.

I never came across any charging issue with my pair at all, but it seems like there are major quality control issue with these buds.

That left sound issue doesn't happen for my buds. But yes ANC is trash since no ear tips! I don't personally use ANC on buds just headphones

Samsungs choice of materials and the overall design of the part that sits in the ears!
