Yes, please, I'm sure she wasn't intending on being r4cis+, but it goes to show how systematic the issue is. I hope this doesn't get swept under the rug, and she handles it well. Ik SamDoesArts had a problem with always doing the same face and a lack of diversity, but he learned and got better and addressed the issue with grace. So I hope Kooleen does the same

I think she was ignorant ab these issues bc she always draws and looks at the same type of people and she probablt didn't know that such features existed.

Her words:
**"Everything below the nose doesn't exceed this line"**, but black people have features that don't follow this. She "FIXES" the artist's work by giving it eurocentric features. She doesn't seem to understand that anatomy works differently here. Oh yeah also, "gorrila lookin mf" was also mentioned by her. (yes, wtf indeed).
Also, some people may argue "but it's an anime style/whatever style" but the artist she was reviewing CLEARLY did NOT have an anime style. So what gives her the right to change it to one? And completely ignore that fact that the artist she reviewed was actually paying attention to features that black people have?
So yea. I think as an artist, we observe and understand anatomy of a variety of races and people in the world, so this can't be ignored. Especially saying stuff like 'gorrila lookin mf', like don't degrade other people's features please. It's so offensive.

I’m being genuine here, if you only know how to draw certain features, and you draw all your characters with the same features, you should not be an art critic at all. If you weren’t an art critic then well, your art style is your choice, but it’s the way you see other characters with poc features and think it’s anatomically inaccurate. Protruding lips are a very real feature that many people have. You should stick to drawing the same type of characters instead of trying to draw more poc, if you do not know how to draw their features. They will turn out unrecognisable, and have their poc features erased. Which turns out ugly as hell.
