Please build these items: Heartsteel - for HP, ranged champs get easy procs Demonic Embrace - for AP scaling off HP... and the buuurns :) Abbysal Mask - for MR steal (which also scales off HP!). Too bad it doesn't build out of the Catalyst, but I'd love to see it anyway For the other 3 items, you might consider: Seraph's Embrace - for mana, AP and Lifeline (in fact, it's too good on Cass not to skip it) Gargoyle Stoneplate - for defenses and a shielding active (again, scaling off HP...) Spirit Visage - for Mordekaiser-like shields from Seraph's and Gargoyle... and maybe a bit of extra healing from E? Frozen Heart - for Armor AND mana - an anti-ADC Cass likes it! "our top and our botlane are kinda griefing!" buddy, i went 10 losses in a row today because of junglers losing every single objective, a support amumu who for some reason wouldnt use arguably the best ult in the game, an adc who played hide and seek with her face into bushes, another adc who got hit by every single pyke pull, and me one game by absolutely not caring anymore and just split push indefinitely. its been a bad day for me.
Even for the handful of times where you did too much damage and didn't get the gold from first strike...you still got paid really well with it. You got fed early, so that helped a lot, but it still seemed well worth it.
Is Horion Focus not good on malph? I do notice both Q and Ult are affected by HF passive, and the bonus damege is applied before hit so both gain 10% extra damage
But consider... With Rageblade Bel'Veth you can print bodies with every auto cause damn she hurts. Or you could just go Cassiopeia with the new Cosmic Drive and slither laps around your opponents.

If I recall correctly, horizon focus gives 10% more dmg at a certain distance from you by untargeted spells. Malphites ult may be untargeted, but it puts you below the required distance making it useless. And your Q is targeted, so you only get the raw stats from it. I may be wrong though Edit: I forgot about the imobalizing/slowing portion of the item, carry on
speaking about clapping i been playing a bunch of malphite mid with hail of blades lately works suprisingly well if you max W first especially against ad midlaners since your W dmg scales with armor you could try that in your next game with a windshitter mid
