    Hi sir...
    Need help,, can we use PoE swtich for desktop if not then is there any PoE switch that can sense and stop the power supply to non PoE device when we connect it. kindly let me know...

      Hi,
      I’m not sure exactly what you mean by PoE switch for desktop.
      PoE switches can output a relatively small amount of power, this is enough (depending on the exact 802.3 protocol) to power low energy devices such as access points, sensors and wireless gateways, however it’s typically not enough to power more energy intensive devices such a PCs.
      Meraki MS switches can schedule PoE delivery and can also sense if PoE is being used by a port. Connecting non PoE devices to an MS switch is common practice and results in no PoE power being drawn by the Non PoE device.
