Absolutely Spot on with Valencia, it's a big city with an airport, metro and beautiful beach and old town, what a gem, additionally Valencia has the levante climate and often better than malaga despite its location further north, a lot dryer than malaga too

About Tenerife. You can’t exactly put out dated/stuck in time houses like minus. It’s person preference not + or -. I personally really really hate modern style houses. All this skyscrapers and general of glass buildings. But that’s my taste. It doesn’t mean someone else need to avoid this places. You know what I mean.

Malaga and its surrounding area suffers high prices because it is probably the most desirable area to buy in Spain. Alicante is also great, cannot disagree, but it is obviously not the Costa Del Sol.

    Hi Giorgio,
In defence of Marbella I think you over look the fact it is pretty international and because it does not always feel like Spain is part of its appeal.
That is one of the reasons I go back every so often and even though you mentioned it is quiet in winter it still has more year rounders than many other Spanish costas.
The old town around orange square has fabulous boutiques and restaurants, not to mention the shopping mall at the back there which is fairly cosmopolitan.
I feel Alicante, despite being cheaper and having nicer beaches, still lacks in comparison to Marbella, CdS.
Collectively from Estepona all the way up to Malaga you practically have a city that spans the coast and together creates a decent selection that could offer something for everyone.
Lastly though, buying costs in Spain make it a lifestyle choice like you mention, also the inheritance tax on beneficiaries if you were to leave your property to someone can be a real headache.
Not an easy place... buy because you like it and not really for investment clearly.
    Nice video tho!

Trafic is good all year around, we have the best weather in Europe. And you can always buy a cheaper property in some other smaller cities on coast. Not exactely in Marbella. Why someone would want to buy in Puerto banus? Is turisty. Go people in other places to live, dont overcrowd this secret gem 😂😂

I don't really understand the decisions the people from Malaga are lovely people from andalusia are the best group in Spain by far also the local food and music is better in andalusia. regarding Barcelona i can't think about any major western european city at that price, because in Prague,Budapest places like that you don't even have apple stores let alone luxury fashion brands, if you want those amenities in Europe you have to go expensive markets like Vienna, Milan, London, Paris,Dublin so Barcelona now seems pretty reasonable. Also you have the Latin culture people from those lands are definitely lovelier then Germans, Swiss and Austrians.

Emmanuel the main problem is price. I do say in the video that I like Malaga but property is much more expensive than cities like Alicante and Valencia which are every bit as nice as Malaga. If you watch my videos I do not recommend buying in cities like London, Milan, Paris, Vienna or Prague either. Unfortunately has become a haven for pickpockets and is one of the worst places in Europe if you want to rent your place out.

this guy really has an issue with Marbella. I have lived there on and off for a number of years and the old town is just stunning. No there is no airport but who wants one on their doorstep when you can get to Malaga airport in 45 minutes. I love the winters there because it is quiet and then the summer seasons are nice and busy. And if you want to live it up then hit Puerto Banus for the night or any number of restos or clubs or hotels along the Golden Mile. Yes Its expensive to buy there but there is a reason for that, it's a great place to live. People don't pay top Dollar for a hole.

Completely agree with you but instead of buying you can longterm rent whatever you want from under Eur 1000 to 10‘000 per month and make sure that its the right place for you. Nevertheless I might choose the Málaga region - not the city itself - but many very nice little villages with white houses and a lot of charme. You might need a car for that. House prices and living costs are much lower than in the very city and having still the advantage of the airport.

I was fortunate enough to move here 10 years before the "BREXIT" fiasco, so had automatic right of domicile and employment rights, as both U.K.and Spain were part of "E.U." at the time. I agree with your summation on the whole, but was surprised to see the omission of "IBIZA", which I hear, is also Very Pricey..Am I wrong..?

I worked as an Auxiliar last school year in Alcossebre (Valencian community, Castillo de la Plana, Alcala de Chivert) but all of the same listings are still available on Idealista more than a year later. Afraid I'd be stuck there if I wanted to sell. It's right on the sea, and pretty much vacant except for the summer, when I hear population goes from 1,300 residents to about 50,000!

It is really not that clean, safe or pretty, a lot of organised crime. I guess there is some appeal to the place for its International scene, connections, proximity to Gibraltar, Ronda etc. It is just quite bad value for money, but if money isn't the issue I guess it can be nice. I think Mallorca is expensive comparing with another property markets, where are more offer then buyers for the properties (it is the same like when you buy at London, New York, Madrid, Berlin...). But the the last years if you had bought at a zone like Felanitx, you got a Finca with Swimmingpool for 500.000€ and right now you can sell it for around 800.000-850.000€... Marbella is the place for those with lots of money, like Prince.. and Russian Mobsters, they buy huge properties, sometimes illegal. It has nothing, but they say the weather is special, something about the air in the winter is not humid. I am not sure. Spanish people dream big and why some things are so wrong when they imagine it. Mallorca should be a better place to live but they have no idea and allow it to be a place where others ruin it, or their plumbing is bad and it smells. The Island is amazing, it's getting more humid and the sun is stronger than ever. I will never go back. You don't realize how much time you have in life until you hit 55 or so, you feel like shit. Arthritis is something most people don't understand until they get it. Not fun. Fun is 18 and you have to work. By the time you have money, you're not going to do much with it.
Glad I live in California. Even if I hate the politics. I would not be happy anywhere, close to the beach or in a small town in the center. I have never been in the UK and would think it's a perfect place, I am assuming Australia is the best place, again never been there. Way too expensive and dangerous insects and animals.

@@saveandinvestwithgiorgiolo8375 like not too hot in the summers, not too cold in winters, and not to sandy, I mean better on the average precipitation (mm): Algeciras 835, Malaga 534, Almeria 200 🙆‍♂

Impossible to pass judgement without having first lived in a place for at least a year! I have lived in both Alicante and Marbella and it is impossible to compare the two. ... they are different towns catering for different people and tastes!
    Rather a pointless video!!!

Sorry but your comment is rather pointless as people want to about price comparisons, what the city offers, how far is it from an airport etc.

I almost bought a place in Marbella but I pulled back after I got an inspection. The inspector was referred to me by the seller, but nevertheless, he pointed out water damage inside the house. I went online and come to find out that there was a huge rain storm that spring in Marbella and they showed a video of people in boats going down the street. This particular unit was a bottom level unit at the bottom of the hill with great access to the beach directly in front of it. It appears that the storm caused flooding and they didn’t want to admit it. Really glad I did that inspection and did my due diligence but I have to say I believe the attorney that was supposed to be representing me, but was not representing me, was in cahoots with my real estate agent and with the seller, and they were just positively outrageous. Beware of the people you work in Marbella because it appears to be a very small group that work with each other in a very close knit kind of way to rip off non-spanish people.

Thank you. This is very useful feedback. Due dilligence is always very important when it comes to buying real estate.

The worst places to buy are, in order:
    -Wherever Germans are
    -Wherever British are
    -Wherever Americans are
    -Wherever South Americans are
    -Wherever Russians are
