Love to see there was so much more to Gerry Marsden. What a wonderful version of this song. Yes, it's a Bee Gees song, but listen closely and tell me you don't hear a strong Roy Wood/The Move influence in the switch between verse and chorus.
Wonderfull version to this Bee Gees songs. The instrumental is so beautiful like a Bee Gees original song. Great singerSir Gerry Marsden...Thaks for this post. From Brasil.
Gerry was never a man for that he certainly never got into drugs. He was destined for cabaret and oldies shows after the hits dried up, I saw him several times over the years, he always delivered on stage. A very sad loss indeed.
I was 17 when this song was released. It was difficult to locate a copy of the single, I am grateful it was posted here. It is great to hear it after so many years. Beautiful song and a beautiful performance. Gerry and company always were favorites from the time of the British invasion. The only station that played this song was 102.7 WNEW New York. Those were the days!

Rest well, Gerry...🙏🏾
I wish Gerry was more involved in the psychedelic scene in England in the late 1960s.
