      You will NEVER see any other life forms on the International play station......
      Only the clowns doing music videos, comedy skits, and acting like idiots......
      Honestly ask yourself why they've never ever taken any other creatures (No insects, no amphibians, no reptiles, no birds, no nothing) to this magical place where they do all these interesting scientific experiments..
      Have you ever seen the "Green house" ?
      It's all a charade.....

    Chris Hadfield is such an amazing man!
    Had i heard his story when I was younger, I think my life might have panned out differently. But growing up in the UK theres never really been any drive towards space.
    So happy that theres people like him for the youth of today.

    • @archielucas7577
      @archielucas7577 8 років тому +1

      Hey, i am the youth of today who has been touched by this incredible man and now am seriously planning a career in astronautical engineering, spacecraft design or astrophysics and if im very lucky, join esa as an astronaut but like you said the UK government contribute nothing to the optional funding towards esa's human space flight, tim peakes principa mission being a one off. And focuses more on developing the commercial space sector which unfortunately means astronautical opportunities are few and far between for uk citizens, and subsequently i am looking into a duel citizenship for the usa where nasa provides a much more active astronaut campaign but im not sure how much longer that will last, currently nasa and the russian space agency has set and 'end date' for operations on the iss to 2024 after which the russians want to develop their own station, and nasa will have no astronautical opportunities until the ARM asteroid redirect mission around 2025 and after that mars missions

    No, that is not how it works, at 350 km - the altitude of the ISS the force of gravity is still 90% of what we have here on the ground. The weightlessness they feel is the same thing you feel when you jump of a trampoline or go over a crest in a rollercoaster - they are constantly falling, but they move fast enough horizontally to miss the ground (ie: orbital speed).
