The former jail is used for historical role playing where guests can come and become inmates in the jail. You run the risk of having the person having respitory system suppressed. I am asthmatic, if you did that to me. I would die from affixation. So if you are going do that, make sure to place them in a recovery position slowing their lungs to expand.
When I cuff people from the ground, I always place them in a recovery position and monitor them.

This is a good question. Control of a prisoner should be as humane as possible with each situation. This demonstration shows what used to be done historically which no longer should be done. We demonstrate it in a safe and controlled environment on volunteers.

Those are "slides" that are often used in jails and prisons. They are sometimes used as shower shoes as well in jail.
