The 1100 motor is back again, this time in a scrambler. This is an epic engine! I have the M1100 evo, can"t imagine run this on dirt. BUT, it's not a reason to be so "Dramatic"!
if the Scrambler desert sled came with dual front discs it would be the perfect bike. Currently it's just an almost perfect bike. If it's truly meant to go back and forth from traffic to trail that extra disc up front would really be a bonus though.

The original video from a year ago by FastHouse/Ducati had Malcom Smith in a cameo flash towards the end. Wouldda been nice to see his smiling face again on this one. Yea - Old Guy faze 4. My first new bike was a Ducati Monza in 1964. The MMXX Sled is in the garage getting some parts and a massage.
Just curious, why are the Fasthouse special editions $100 less expensive than the standard 2022 Desert Sled? Seems like the limited edition would be more expensive.
I thought you were going to be able to buy a desert sled with handguards, Scott steering stabilizer and aftermarket handle bar, handle bar mount, suspension, foot pegs, skid plate and exhaust. Just glad the Ducati is staying with the Scrambler brand.
i mean a would actually enjoy a scrambler with up specced components to go with the 'bold new graphics'. but here we are i guess. Marketing is cheaper than actually making an improved product, thats the modus operandi for a lot of companies these days.
For a "Desert" labelled bike, it needs to do better in handling the insane heat it generates. Still air cool engine, and same limited capacity fuel tank. Bummer 😭
