That's incredible, a 12 yr old boy riding 200 miles. I am 50 yrs old and just accomplished that feat May 31 of this year...Kudos to Jack
Biggest mistake I made as a new racer was doing loads of training and holding off racing. It was an eye opener to see what an actual race was like and I was completely off on what I was doing to prepare myself to race. After doing some group rides, just get in the mix, you'll learn a ton.
I wish I'd known about clubs / racing when I was young. (and that kid's self confidence!)

Watching this vlog has really gotten me into cycling. I've been riding a track bike as a commuter which is fun and challenging, just bought a used Cannondale CAAD 10 for a good price and did my first bunch ride this morning. Thanks for being entertaining and informative!

Great advice enjoy your riding. I have no desire to race being an ol fart and ex large person but i regularly see older guys out enjoying their bikes, and i want to to be able to ride out when in my 70's so thinking about a plan for longevity is just riding enough. Another great video Francis always keep it interesting.
I've never really had the time for a specific training program, so I just made up my own HIIT of 3 sets and 10 reps of 1 minute sprints and 1 minute rests. Been doing that for about 2 months now and personally it has really helped (16 year old here)

if you are like me and influence your friends to cycle even in a small country like Singapore u can go for a spin around 80 kilometers every Saturday. You just have to cycle whenever you feel like cycling it really helps lose weight lost a total of 13 kilos during fasting month cos I was still riding.

yes mate! the whole desert sessions album is on point. if you ever get chance to watch the foo fighters sonic highways documentary there's a great episode about LA with some cool parts about Josh Homme. It's on netflix i think. Anyway - keep up the vids. Always really enjoy them & the characters
