I went to the concert Eminem performed this song everyone had cellphones out and he said rip big proof in the hook I was front row it was amazing to see in the Rose bowl
Abit irrelivant to this video but Im going to open up anyway as this track gets me on that emotional vibe. I been a fan of Eminem since I heard Biterphobia in 97, I heard it before he got signed with Dre. I must have went to every underground record shop looking for the Infinite LP with no luck so was listening to the few records I had found. In 99 my grandfather whom I was really close to bought me the SSLP and before he died in 2000 he got me the MMLP, my grandad knew how much I was into this guys rap music. When my grandfather died it just so happend that I was in my room playing Rock Bottom from the SSLP when my parents came up and told me he took his last breath. The relevance of that record to my situation at that time when we was broke and just lost 3 family members that year, family members that held our heads high and the irony of it playing has played a massive part of why I became a Stan, 2018 and I still make sure I keep up with Eminem and show my fanship. Shaq I know you may not read all this as you busy and this is long but I would love for you to do a break down of Rock Bottom in memory of my grandfather. Truth be told, it hit me that hard, I have not listened to Rock Bottom since he passed in August 2000, but I want you to play it. Peace, thanks for reading.
I'm sorry abt ur grandpa... Bt i dont blame u cz Well, rock bottom is prettty sad song.. Especially that first verse where he says "last diaper got my ass hyper n mayb god vl listen if i ask nicer" 😪... I never faced such hardships bt listening to em makes me choke everytime.. N that rock sample in the beginning .. I loveeee that song.. So raw..
Phenomenal Sauthpaw soundtrack hair-raising chorus and track but then nearly all Eminem songs/raps beautiful meaningful songs. So glad he does not mumble!
I´ve been listening to Em since i was like 10 (almost 21 now) and bumped every album from infinite to kamikaze. One thing I always loved about Em is how real he is. He knows when to play and when to keep it real. He wont shut his mouth if something bothers him. Another thing that makes him real in my opinion is his ability to reflect himself. Yes, he sometimes speaks tongue in cheek, but he puts his heart in every single one of his songs and is self aware enough to take himself not too serious and still feels a responsibility to his fans and knows he woulnd´t be where he is without us.
stanley yelnats Yeah he was portraying Bugz being killed but it also was literally foreshadowing the exact same fate of Proof not too long after this video was made. It’s super eerie to watch this video after 10+ years since Proof was killed, just to see him laying there acting his part of the video. RIP DeShaun “Proof” ༼ᚐߙ𐀔ߙᚐ༽
Eminem the goat, when I go through shit on a daily basis I listen to Em, and this song is crazy how Proof died two years later, R.I.P. Proof. Bit late to this but the line about someone saving his life was about Dre and the whole Suge Knight beef, Dre and Em even asked Luis Resto (producer of the track) to mute the word out the song to add to the fact he never mentions Suge name. "It wasn't my intentions, my intentions were good , I went through my whole career without ever mentioning SUGE (knight) And that's just outta respect, for not running my mouth And talking about something that I knew nothing about Plus Dre told me stay out, just wasn't my beef, So I did , I just fell back, watched and gritted my teeth"
Hey Shaq! Great review/reaction to this video. I HEARD I cannot confirm that Eminem took down this video because it was so eire to watch after Proof's death. The Jah beef had nothing from I can see to do with Proof's death, but it was a bar brawl that got out of hand. Eminem came up during the time of Death Row Sug Knight and Dre's beef. It was during the time that they, including Eminem had to wear bulletproof vests. Case in point when they went to Bermuda, the police had to take them out the airport as it was reorted to them that Sug and his crew had guns (there was no TSA back then, and also at a BET Award show. Growing up in Detroit I think he saw a lot and he and Proof were friends from kids days. This I think is Em's way of showing how role models are influencers and before you know it people die because of silly things. Toy soldiers because a soldier goes into a battle because of someone's opinion who is higher than they are.

monikadavis1031 I’ve been bugging him on instagram about it. I think he just want to do a reaction to the whole album
It's funny cuz he straight up says on that song that if u don't stand by me for this then I'll make sure u never live it down! N everybody shit on him for revival n he blew everybody away with kamikaze n everybody shut their mouths.....oh the irony.....I like revival....
Anna G same here. It’s a great album lyrically but some of the songs don’t have a good beat. Believe it’s a top 10 on my list for Eminem songs. It has everything and unfortunately people didn’t even listen to it before they trashed it. Thank God Stans are still alive
I actually loved Revival...he was more Marshall Mathers (not slim shady his alter ego,not Eminem the Rap God...just Marshall the man) on Revival than any other work hes ever done imo...he showed his insecurities and was more personable on that album so I can imagine him feeling like he himself was being rejected and called trash
Walk on water its very underrated song so sad😥
It’s hilarious how he would say “y’all Eminem fans” when he is now THE Eminem fan 😂
He wasn't much of an eminem fan back in the day but he is now joined the party
I listen to eminem because when I'm having a bad day I put em on and it leave me forget about my problem
Ok forget about your problems but NEVER forget about dre
@@Andreas-pj6np gotta choose the hard way🤣🤣
Go for the word of God, its the true manuel that can take away ur worries and u'd never get them back
Wait...that line
Ur comment is kinda is from "stan" 😂
Dre told him to stay out..
This track is the truth. Goosebumps every time.
If only Proof could come back.
Henrik Bæckström Fr Fr🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🎧🎧🎤👉🏾😢😢😢😢😢
I doubt proofs death has something to do with Dre and Suge. em definitely would of said something then.
Henrik Bæckström facts
Proof just fucked with the wrong guy at a club.
@@skepticalfan so what exactly happened, I heard it was something about beef but I dont know the details
I came here from Shaq reaction to Queen, ACDC, and Metallica. Damn I cried. Some of y'all will be saying "no big thing, another white boy crying"... but this shit hit me hard. I didn't know anything about EMINEM or the story but the basics.... this helps put my bullshit drama in perspective.
Going to spend the weekend going through Rap reactions by Shaq...try to broaden my life too.
God bless.
Clinton James you and me fam, you and me. I’m gonna need some time with this.
When I’m having a bad day this is where I come to escape. Shaq is that cool friend that takes your mind off the BS
been doing the same thing fellow metalhead. \m/
and then he stumbled upon FACK
Awesome comment bro, positive energy and love to you man
( eminem - the way i am) this will be one of the craziest word flow you heard in a long time coach
I went to the concert Eminem performed this song everyone had cellphones out and he said rip big proof in the hook I was front row it was amazing to see in the Rose bowl
my dad asked me if i liked music, I said "yeah"
he said " what genre?"
i said " em"
im back watching this in 2020
Abit irrelivant to this video but Im going to open up anyway as this track gets me on that emotional vibe.
So raw..
Reece Jackson my condolonces bruh... Love from Indonesia

I was listening to brain damage when I heard that my aunt was In the hospital...she never made it out of the hospital
I love this song
Bad prediction
R.I.P PROOF
Miss proof so fuckin much man rip
Wasn't even a prediction. Proof is portraying bugz
stanley yelnats
Yeah he was portraying Bugz being killed but it also was literally foreshadowing the exact same fate of Proof not too long after this video was made. It’s super eerie to watch this video after 10+ years since Proof was killed, just to see him laying there acting his part of the video.
RIP DeShaun “Proof” ༼ᚐߙ𐀔ߙᚐ༽
Em is same age as me. I grew up when he was growing up musically. Love em. Good reveiw
Your🥇 is on the way,if you don't receive it by 2073 contact me

The man "who saved his life" he meant Dr. Dre

If I get locked up tonight! Way under rated work of em’s
Been requesting this for so long 😩
Eminem the goat, when I go through shit on a daily basis I listen to Em, and this song is crazy how Proof died two years later, R.I.P. Proof. I used to listen to D12 and man, after he died and the group separated, I was just in shock and rewatched this video. Felt like a premonition. Nothin but love for Em. It's so sad what we all go through but we gotta live life to the fullest, never know when you're gone today or tomorrow. Shout out to Shaq, Em, and Proof, R.I.P. Proof.
The chorus is Martika “Toy Soldiers” that song came out mid 80s I think.
Yes babes, that's the sample! 🤗❤
I cry every time i hear that chorus. It has a different meaning in this song.
We listen to 80s music at my work and everytime that song comes on I get this song stuck in my head for days
That's the only sample that gets me emo.
@@taylormoye7098 same. Samples nowadays are always dark
Man the impact Eminem had on all of us is just amazing. Everybody has their own story to specific songs, mine is that the last words I said to my father before he died, I said while playing Eminem - Puke in the background...
Guilty conscience - eminem. I'm tellin ya you're missing out if any a ya haven't heard it before
its so creative and depicts reality i love it
@@its_reckoning6667 yeah. Dre's role as the good conscience is something that I particularly enjoy
I think he must have heard the track, seen the video. There is possibly no way he slept on it. But i completely agree..crazy song, awesome video, good time for a revisit :)
@@GaneshKumar-bv2td now that I think on it, I think you're right. However a small part of me hopes he hasn't checked it out so we can all enjoy his reaction to it haha.
Agreed with you bro
Diverse Mentality is behind that Ja vs 50 documentary that you were referring to, the guy is great at what he does!
Bit late to this but the line about someone saving his life was about Dre and the whole Suge Knight beef, Dre and Em even asked Luis Resto (producer of the track) to mute the word out the song to add to the fact he never mentions Suge name.
"It wasn't my intentions, my intentions were good
, I went through my whole career without ever mentioning SUGE (knight)
And that's just outta respect, for not running my mouth
And talking about something that I knew nothing about
Plus Dre told me stay out, just wasn't my beef, So I did
, I just fell back, watched and gritted my teeth"
I love the way Em's lyrics and flow go with the drums.. that is so 🔥
Em’s songs teach life lessons for real
You should react to Proof's diss ..... Ja in a Bra...... Please.
Hell ya
I told cuzz that yesterday and I’m still waiting for it!!! Make sure you got JA in the room this time!!! 😂😂😂
@Ransford Chester Not even close my guy. Em wasnt even there.
He got in a fight over a pool game and the dude who he got into with a cousin was with bouncer.
www.theguardian.com/music/2006/may/21/popandrock.eminem
This one, Idk why, literally made me cry more than 15 times already. I can deeply feel the pain behind like every single word of the lyrics and every single piece of the visual. And Em's voice on that piano backing make me go deeper 😓😓😓💔
I just started following you a while back, and MAN is it crazy to see this room bare bones style. You’ve come a long way my guy!
Best Friend Yelawolf ft Eminem, Eminem GOES IN on his verse, needa hear them bars coach
xTheKiidShadow perfect too cuz he wearin headphones...Em’s verses in headphones is crazy
Beefs were real back then, people got hurt. You exposed the message here.Keep it on the mic,put down the piece.
Hands down best reactor out there #Barology #MVPCoach #ThatsTOUFF!!!
Best song from “Encore” as well as one of Eminem’s best songs ever.
hey man I love your reviews and reactions cuz I can watch them with my 14yr old son, because you dont drop the gd and f bomb every other word, thanks I believe alot of your fans respect that.

You had me dying when you said “That he gotta be my cousin”🤣
React to Eminem sing for the moment lyrics video
That's a great f'n song!!!!!!
One of the best songs ever man...
That's my favvvvvv song!!!!
Hell yeah
Which the chorus comes up and Eminem Backs it up "sing" you could hear the passion he has for what he does...
Em's music is THERAPY for many
Eminem is a human dictionary and thesorus the guy knows his grammer or vocabulary and thats why he raps so good
My man is a story teller, with his music.
DAMN!! Shaq thank you for this reaction r.i.p the goats they will be miss
such a powerful song
Eminem - Spend Some Time

Eminem - Careful what you wish for
Eminem - Legacy
Eminem - Rock Bottom
You're without a doubt my favourite youtuber, always keeping it 300 my bro ✊🏽
For everyone listening to this y’all have to read the great comments much love man
My dad doesn't like rap music coz of the swear words, but this one time he asked me to play him Toy Soldier, I had left my PC open and Toy soldier was next in line. He listened to it and he loved it. This shows no one is like EMINEM.
HE changes people. MY Ringtone has been his Hello song for as long as I remember.
Respect the GOAT
“I don’t know what page it was, shot out to that page” Das Tuff
When he said it wasn’t his beef and down talking the man who saved his life he’s on about Suge Knight and Dre.

Jay Green I SEE YOU 👀 we here 🤜🤛 this is in my PLAYLIST G! #Ja🏠🚽
Ems bars in this song every word he drops at the end of every punchline and even mid bar all coincides with the beat perfectly the entire song. He said in an interview he wanted to make a song for every word clicked with every part of the beat all the way through
Wow, I can see the emotion and the way you are focusing on the video so much. This song is my go to song when I’m having a shit time, this is one of the most in depth detailed songs em has done. Much respect for you for doing this.
EMINEM- INFINATE...CAME OUT IN '96! IT IS AMAZING!
When I'm gone, next
I've been listening to Eminem since early 2000's, but damn, Like Toy Soldiers is still the best and realest representation of all the things that are wrong and fucked up with the hiphop culture. Fortunately this poppin' your competition shit among rappers has pretty much disappeared,. Just imagine all the legends we would have among us right now, if this culture wouldn't have ever existed.
Eminem 🐐 - just a pur genius, well never see anyone better than this man
Em needs to make a part 2 of this song in 2024
Ems flow and the beat were matching up perfectly. That was awesome
React to the song called “Difficult”. It’s the song Eminem wrote about proof AFTER he died, shit makes me cry every time
joseph solomon it’s called difficult
I think its difficult..
this one
There's a version with obie trice in the chorus. I like that version better than just eminem alone...although the version with Em only has a chorus with no lyrics and it's really solemn. Its such a personal song and was never supposed to be leaked
It’s “You’re Never Over”
Yea Proof RIP for shot shortly after this song got released
Yusuf Qawee yep 2 years later
Yusuf Qawee yea sad af man over a game of pool smdh. #RIPBIGPROOF
EMINEM is my dude in life ..
When you've been listening to em for as long as you can remember you grow up with it you learn about him. He came out with his first album when I was like 5 6 years old my teenage family member listened to him all the time.
Shaq react to eminem when i’m gone and mockingbird- those two songs got the same vibe as this one except they’re songs for his daughter hailie. keep it comin btw chief!! your reactions are dope 👊🏾
You just said ems fans know everything about him and you wanna know what we know? Dude i live right down the street from you and i always got beer. Come chill with an open ear
That’s fire 🔥
@@realvic1286 thats hella weird 😂
The coffin on my conscious one of the realest of all times
Even the beginning of the music video shows a black and a white kid, symbolizing Proof and Em. I love this song so much.
Yeah man... I noticed that too...
5 years later to say that proof was a sacrifice that’s why it hurt em so bad cause HE is the one that caused it. All greats gotta pay a price
Love how you speak about him and his music 💯💯 keep up the great work, maybe some more Revival!? ☺️
Revival was the worst album ever by Eminem man luv HIM but no
Yo man, if you want to know everything about Eminem. You gotta listen to all his albums. In order
“50 cent petty bro, that could be my cousin” 😂😂👌
Just the way he verbalizes his lyrics catches your ear and you have to listen. Profound words that have a deep message. What rap is supposed to be.
This probably the most heartfelt song from his generation in your understanding it right in this is probably one of your best reaction videos cuz the emotions in it
