The Momochi Ice Skating Rink, with the illuminated Fukuoka Tower and Christmas illuminations in the background, was truly the most beautiful stage!
31:40 The Christmas lights were as beautiful as stars twinkling in the night sky. The scenes of people gathering together were also very warm. Perhaps this is the true meaning of Christmas in people’s hearts.
As always, thank you for this very beautiful video. The Christmas illumination was amazing, but your excellent photography skills had made the scenes even more impressive! It was really lucky that you had almost finished filming when it started to rain!
PS. I checked online that the opening day of the ice skating rink was 29 Nov, but video summary stated 28 Nov?

Your comments and membership support always give me strong strength of love and courage. These words also appear in the song of Anpanman, the super superhero known to all Japanese. LOL!
And thank you for watching the weather change and the last details.😊
The venue here has a warm, local atmosphere. It is easily accessible by bus from the center of Fukuoka City.
The opening ceremony of the skating rink, which was installed for the first time this year, took place on November 28. According to my prior research and memory, the rink was originally scheduled to open at 11:00 a.m. on 11/28, but due to bad weather with strong winds and heavy rain, the ceremony was held on the night of the 28th and the rink was opened on the 29th.

      @ Anpanman! LOL
I’ve never watched Anpanman as it was never broadcast on TV here during my childhood, and now then I know it is so popular in Japan. Maybe I should watch it, and hopefully Anpanman’s power can give me better photography skill to take great photo of sakura next year lol.
When I was watching this video, I have some question. I was at Seaside Momochi on 28th Dec last year, and I remember it was not that cold. Hence wouldn’t the ice on the ice skating rink melt?
I had good memories of Seaside Momochi, it had very beautiful sunset! And I saw Japanese people walking their Shiba Inu (my favourite!), but I was too shy to ask for their permission to pat their Shiba Inu lol. I would like to revisit this place again next year!

You are right, last year Fukuoka City was not that cold in spite of December and I was quite surprised too. This year it suddenly got cold after a high temperature of almost 25 degrees Celsius until mid-November. It is windy and cold again today. (Yesterday and the day before yesterday were not so cold.) This is my first experience with extreme daily temperature differences.
That's why I seek solace in interacting with my dogs. And I understand very well that it was difficult for you to ask the residents to interact with the Shiba Inu, and I believe the reason for that is that you are such a kind person that you think ahead of time about the other person's needs and concerns, etc. I always want to talk to people who have dogs and ask them to let me touch their dogs, but I always hesitate and stop. I really want to touch the dog, but I am always hesitant to do so. That's when I think I'll take advantage of Anpanman's help.
Anpanman is a popular superhero who is extremely popular and well known among Japanese people. There is probably no Japanese person who does not know him.

@ I saw Japanese walking Shiba Inu when I was in Beppu and Momochi Seaside!
In Singapore, I somehow had the courage on a few occasions to asked for permission from strangers to touch their Shiba Inu lol. I suppose those Shiba Inu were my Anpanman and gave me the courage lol Their fur was really very soft and comfortable to touch! Unlike other dogs which tends to bark madly at strangers, Shiba Inu were so tame when I touched them! Shiba Inu was incredibly handsome and cool with their pointed ears and short fur! 🤩
I need Anpanman’s power too during my Japanese class!
It’s had been very pressurising with my new sensei from Osaka lol And tomorrow is lesson day again and my brain is so confused now 😅

@PPPP-hh6bo Shiba Inus tend to be loyal only to their masters and wary of strangers. However, not all Shiba Inus are like that, and I have met many friendly Shiba Inus who have different personalities just like humans. You are right, Shiba Inus are dignified and very handsome. By the way, I especially love the adorable German Pomeranians. LOL.
Of course I love all other breeds as well. LOL.
