The variety of activities in Fukuoka is incredible! From soaking in the tranquility of Ohori Park to exploring the bustling Yanagibashi Rengo Market, it seems like there's something for everyone. I'm particularly interested in visiting the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum because I love contemporary art. I love how the city offers a mix of cultural experiences, natural beauty, and great food.

Fukuoka is such an underrated destination!** I love how the city embraces both modernity and tradition. The fact that you can experience historical sites like the Fukuoka Castle ruins and then relax at places like Ohori Park makes this city so unique. I can’t wait to check out the ramen stalls at Nakasu Yatai. It sounds like an unforgettable experience!

Nice Fuk Vlog! How do you find Fukuoka as a destination? As compared to other cities? Repeat travel?

It's amazing, actually would be a really nice place to settle and live in Japan. More affordable than other cities, has amazing food, good vibes all around. In terms of repeat travel, it really depends on what you're looking for. It's not as big and as varied as Osaka or Tokyo obviously so if you have limited time and you've already seen everything maybe not... but the food in Fukuoka is so amazing that I would come back for it specifically.

@TheGoGuy i so agree. The atmosphere is chill and laidback. This is my most favorite city in Japan- for destress yet full of positive energy. After doing rounds in Tokyo and Osaka, i find the small city charm of Fukuoka so tantalizing. Tokyo and Osaka really slaps you with their gigantic urban sprawl and great distance from the airport or anywhere rural.but in Fukuoka, the beach and the mountains are just 30mins away. Heck even going to Kido Nanzoin is like stepping into a different Japan.

@@jjdelacross I so agree with you Julius. I've been to Tokyo and Osaka more than I can count and so I find myself not as enthused as I once was to go back since I've done it so many times... that's why I really dig Fuk (hilarious nickname btw LOL).

All the land around Fukuoka Tower is reclaimed land. I lived there for 8 years. I want to move back when possible.
