I have a 94 Chevy K1500 truck. I'm a woman & try to do this by myself by watching UA-cam. The problem I have is ... it's pretty cramped & not much room, my arm also short (almost 2' from armpit). The oil filter adapter & everything is blocked by the frame on the left & it's sit on the top of the front differential. Even I removed the left front tire, it's still block & further back. I use jack to jack up the front so it's still limited room under the truck to craw in. Any tips, tricks & advice so I can do this job & complete the job by myself? Thanks.
For the GMC 5.7 C1500 the part numbers are 12472279 (inlet side of the oil adapter plate to lower fitting on the oil cooler tank) and 12472280 (outlet of oil adapter plate to the upper fitting on the oil cooler tank). As you view the oil adapter plate the inlet is the upper most fitting and the outlet is the lower fitting, which is also tucked in closer to the engine, presuming you have the GM adapter.

Thanks for the video are the lines leaking yet I have tried factory and aftermarket both seem to start leaking again within a year or so 😢I was thinking of deleting the lines at the oil filter adapter and be done with it it dose stop the rust though
@@kevinarmstrong864 no they dont leak at all, I went with genuine GMC. Been however long since my original comment that I installed them. I opted to use new quick connects instead of reusing the old ones that were brittle.
Good job obscuring the out and in tags, thanks.
You got lucky on those clips, mine were full of road grime and hardened like a rock, took me forever to get them out.

Part numbers for the lines please?
Literally the only video to tell me what size of socket to use. Thank you! I just changed these, but still have a leak.
Do have the part number of those engine oil cooler lines??????
So which one was the out, the top or the bottom, you showed the lines marked but not when they where installed ?, which is which,

I’ve gotta 89 k1500, I’m at a loss. But the oil lines. Are they the same? Having a hell of a time finding an inlet an outlet hose
Thanks for video guys it really explains well -no more excuses not to fix my leak
Where can I get the o ring? I tried Auto and O'Reilly?
Why weren't both lines replaces
Dose the oil filter side need an o ring be for or after clip
Seals are inside of the oil cooler fittings. Replace the fittings so you have known good seals.
Dumb question are these for oil or transmission fluid
oil
These are the oil cooler lines from the filter housing to Radiator cooler
Part number for lines please
