Now, what was great about the whole late 90s euro-disco/euro-dance/euro-whatever that was a HUGE thing in the late 90s was that none of it started in a studio, it was ~punk... but with a computer & maybe sampler & a synth. It didn't last for long, and I'm not ever sure this is a part of it. It was a wonderful time.
Always expect the unexpected with Tommy. I didn't know the song and I hadn't heard of Sungen either. But what a great mix was that? Catchy melody, cheesy lyrics, funny two guys and your guitar part was something very special again. And the end was so surprising for me that I had to laugh out loud. I love Friday.
Ahh, I was blessed by being born in the early 70s, so I have enjoyed the the glory of the 80s hard rock, and when the 90s came I was allowed to go club's (I was 18 years old) an this kind of music was pumping. Good party music, but still a metall head, and Nightwish is still the greatest band ever.
