So the parts I have that are a pure white left forearm and the hand plates and the high armour with ammo pack and the butt plate and kidney plate and I have a left shoulder bell and the biceps too
Great information in your videos. Unfortunately, I found you too late, already received an "FX kit" from one of those sellers you don't recommend. (Ordered last September 2019) Oh well, Now my quest is to hopefully go through my suit and do some modifications to make it more "movie accurate". Your channel is awesome and I really love when you show the movie screenshots side by side, and explain what needs to be done to be closer to the films. I would love to see a video on how to take an "FX suit" and the modifications needed to make it more "screen accurate". Maybe you already did this, I'll keep checking out your other videos. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us!
Thanks for the feedback. I have never gone down that root myself but I know you can make an FX kit work reasonanly well, probably even get it good enough to meet 501st entry level requirements. My best advice for you would be to visit the FISD forum at whitearmor.net and talk to people there. I remember one guy who goes by the name of Panda Trooper (he also has a UA-cam channel), he did some amazing modification work to the actual parts of the FX (referred to more recently as "AM" because the mould changed hands). You don't need to go as far as changing the shape of the parts to get something half decent but there is no real limit. Good luck.
This is one of Panda Trooper's videos, showing what's possible with the FX/AM kit. Amazing work! He has a series of these videos so they'll no doubt be useful.
Verry nice! Could you tell me how big the visible rivits and snaps on the outside of the Armor were? I need to upgrade my armor. In the 501st reference it says, all of them are 8mm but i think that looks a little small .
Hello there, I'm just making some alterations to my armour, I intend to use the loop and belt method to attach / hold my thigh armour, can you tell me how you've attached your loop inside your thigh armour? Thanks
