@@willdavis3802 It's like Stan Lee said once. Whoever wins a fight in a story, be it a book or a comic, is whever the writer damn well wants to win, no matter what the circumstances or power level between characters are. That's the eat thing about writing stories.

This is one of the best Sci fi stories i have ever heard.
There are so many popular tropes in this story, that your imagination easily can run wild and set you in a completely different universe... Almost like the snap of your fingers.
Immersion and worldbuilding are half the battle, after all.

It’s always amusing swapping to Clara’s or Cynthia’s perspectives whenever Wyatt’s doing something ‘impossible’.
At some point both Clara and Cynthia are just going to be so desensitized by it to the point that everyone will think they’re just as insane as he is lol.

I agree it will be eventually be like they just sigh in exasperation and just shake there heads. Then when Wyatt comes back, do there ritual chewing his head off for being recklessly. Then congratulate him for a good job and give him a hug.
Or they just say they are disappointed in his insistants on doing another Death ride and that he may come back alive. He is killing them a bit with all the emotional stress he is causing them.
Usually I listen to a story or read along, occasionally I will listen to the latest chapter twice, but in a few instances I will listen to the latest chapter, then go back and start at chapter one and listen to it again from beginning to end.
This story is one of those few instances.

DAMN, 26 minutes didn't feel at all as 5 minutes even less. Was that good. One of best stories ever listen for space and battle. More fantasy, rpg and medieval style . But DAMN these series is fraking awesome.

Having been a fan of the genre for over 60 years ( yes, I am that old) I can say that this is Space Opera at its finest!

I do agree this series is a good space opra, which gives me some Honor Harrington book series (by David Weber)vibes.
I have to say that I have NEVER looked so forward to a installment of a story. It reminds me of the stories I was told when radio was king and there were a cliff hanger every week and the audience would have to wait until the next installment. This truly is a incredible story and I can't wait till the next chapter. Thanks so much for giving me the honor of listening to it and man I hope this becomes a movie of any kind.

No, a movie would limit the series too much. Lots of awesome stuff would be cut out. A tv series with a decent budget would do a much better job. This has been proven true with deep, multi-faceted books with tv adaptations overall doing better that movie versions. Shadowhunter movie bombed but tv series had 3 seasons.

Thank you for all the work that you are putting into this. I keep wondering about the rest of humanity outside the Principality. It will be interesting to find out where the black ships come from.

After this battle with the Drazzan, I hope The Prince would promote Wyatt to Captain and command the Noirnavio with Golt & some of the other prisoners. Those who didn't join him can burn in hell! Then officially accord Wyatt as a knight & noble. Can't wait to see the look on Salazar Reid & other asshole nobles, lol. I'm already seeing Princess Clara falling in love with Wyatt. Even more spicy Lady Cynthia also making the love triangle - that's gonna make us drool!!!
Drazzan can probably be blinded by flashbangs and flares overloading their optical leaf.
So glad someone continued this. Just finished ch.16, can't wait for the next one. I drive a lot for work and listening to this and other stories like it make that so much better.

The last episode definitely ended as a cliffhanger.
Interesting to have this chapter covering things from Clara's pov the defense of Woodshaft and reacting to events in chapter 15. Interesting to learn how Woodshaft setting up its internal defenses in preparation for the Drazin boarders.
I am not surprised that Uriel was pleasantly surprised that Clara would send most of her 10 RM to help with Woodshaft defense efforts. I do like we learn more about the Drazin, like the Drazin raiders independent of their government for plausibility denialbility.
Interesting to hear what Uriel saw of the battle between loyalist and tratior forces and his interest how the stealth cruser was taken out.
Yeah not surprised that Clara would flip out hearing that Wyatt went out in fighter by himself. I do like Uriel realizing that Wyatt was a pilot and instead of a bodyguard and someone Clara deeply cares about. It's hilarious seeing Uriel and Clara's reaction to Wyatt using a fighter bomber to kill 30 normal Drazin fighters😂.
Great job with writing the ground combat between the Drazin and the defenders of Woodshaft. Great job of depecting the RM, especially how the lone RM pissed of the Drazin to the point they mutilated his corpse not interested in his fluids.
I do like how easily Clara was able to figure out Wyatt was in comand of the ship was acting like a starfighter. I do love how dumbfounded both Clara and Uriuel were at how APN Noir killed a Drazin crusier with 1 shot.
Great way to end the chapter with Clara full of dread that Wyatt is seriously injured due to how Noir was acting. Especially when think about he probably was serious injured doing that insane starfighter miracle earlier.
Next chapter probably will be with the Prince reacting to the Drazin coming in syestem.

This is the 1st reddit story I have seen narrated on UA-cam that originally ended no where completed but then it gets revived by a narration channel that finds it a new writer for it!
That's one of main reasons why I love this story and give indepth reviews on it so the writer more data on what the audience likes or not.

Wyatt is definitely being made out to be a "John McClane" hero character. Die Hard the wife: "he's still alive... only John can drive somebody that crazy" then you watch him get beat down and get back up over and over for hours.
Read the helmsman by Bill Baldwin gives you the same feeling

The history is excellent, the only problem is that I couldn't figure out what they look like, I mean the draazan - plant alians

But either I lost description or is lacking somewhere, I don't even know if the principality is an human species or an "human like" species since I saw things like "something feathers" in the dialog, the royal Marines tho, are just 40k on my mind
The draazan were described by Wyatt in the last episode, I think. His description really emphasizes the danger these creatures pose. He appears to have the inside scoop on how dangerous they are. . . the Marines didn't chime in, not Cynthia, nor any of the captured Royals. There has been only oblique references to the other races.
If you started this series somewhere in the middle, I suggest you start from the beginning. It is well worth your time, especially if you enjoy any of the episodes.
@@thisissparta1690 I started this series from the beginning but I came across this type of content last week and had pretty much watch almost everything I came across, accompany "the black ship" "Terran contact" "new treat" and other minor historys and other channels along with an heavy baggage imaginative races names made difficult to track everything.
But the simple description as the different armor color, hair, ayes was good enough to mentalize the crew, but the "normal human empire" here being fragmented and with "nobility", and low frequency the other humans party's being mentioned, I didn't had much sure if they're humans, or were similar to humans, as mentioned I am new to sci-fi historys aside from mainstream, and if you take star trek for example the are a lot of races that look human enough in my opinion, anyway thanks for helping
