Not a stupid question. The unit lasted all season (4 months or more) without issue. I disassembled the hydroponics since we moved to another property so I cannot speak to longevity or reliability over a longer time frame. I am in process of rebuilding an aquaponics system and I plan to use this unit again. I will let you know if it remains functional. *** Jago, please refrain from editorial comments on my videos unless asked otherwise. +Matt Willis Based on other Tri-Meters, yes, you should be able to calibrate the PPM. You have to use a 1000PPM calibration solution, then calibrate it essentially the same way you do for PH.
Hello there..Iv got one of these and it done me well up till now..I went to calibrate it and I have a buffer solution no.7..so I'm turning the calibration screw and it won't go further than 6.8 and there's a click when I try to turn it more..any advice or do you think its time for the bin?thanks.
