I watched this twice just to re-hear everything you said. Great video, super great of you to share all those tips too, not many people easily give away their hard learned knowledge like that. I seriously do not understand the Thumbs downs given. God Bless Allen, keep up the good fight.
You did a great job on explaining everything. Going to be a great setup once its a done. I really like the square door idea better than the round. Keep up the great videos
Great job, lots of good ideas and helpful tips. Thanks for the great videos, you have been very helpful to me. You have Mad skills, I just love to watch you work. THANKS.
Great explanation. Very thorough 👍👍 Thank you for these videos 🙏 A true craftsman sir. You remind me of my grandfather. Although I was very young when he was welding, I heard stories of him “just eyeballing it” and producing a great product in the end. Not sure where you live but running into you and getting some live lessons wouldn’t be a bad thing. Keep it up!
I really like the way his definition of doing something the "best" way is defined by product quality and not economic efficiency. He really wants his product to be good. Endless pride in his work for sure!
I was wondering when you would ever go to Plasma cutting , I know your gonna love it, best thing ever, I can appreciate your work . you are a master.........................................JS*
Hey just wanted to tell you thanks for those awesome video's. Iam building one and is my first time building one. You gave me good ideas. And also your work is quality work!!!
Great ideas ! How are you liking that plasma cutter ? Have fun !! ✌😉🤜🤛👍 You might love that HTP welder, BUT that fan whining everytime you strike arc would drive me CRAZIER THAN I AM NOW !! Maybe you have gotten used to it !!
Hey brother from 3:05 to 3:22 my video freezes and I can only hear audio I am not sure if anyone else is experiencing this issue as well. I also exit your vid and went right back to 3:05 and it did the same thing
Awesome job! I’m working on building one myself. What are the measurements on the door? I’m worried when I cut it out, my door will be either too big or too small.

Nice work brother. Learning new shit every video I watch. Do you make your own hinges or do you buy them. And do you have a video on making them if you make them?? If not I would like to see one
how about a vid doing a fire box on a old propane tank bbq pit, mine has a 8 x 8 square hole in the side and im looking to add a fire box, cant control heat the way it is
@@SOLDOZER Just went to the shop. I was wrong, but so were you. The tag shows 500 gallons. And the tank is 14ft 9" long. Made 1954, Its not a fat as most are. Its longer and not as big around.

Thank for the help. I have been fighting to get my tank doors flat. They always want to curl when you use the tank for its own door
Just A Man Blessed By God You're Awesome Allen
Question when you square up a door what thickness of steel you use
I would like for you to build a nice size smoker. You do great work. I wish I had that talent 👍
Are you new to the Channel JAY JAY
@@gregsullivan8956 lmao ,,,I've been watching Allen's videos for almost a year this guy is a master at his craft
I like looking at your show i wish I could make one you do what you do brother
Nice work brother. Learning new shit every video I watch. Do you make your own hinges or do you buy them. And do you have a video on making them if you make them?? If not I would like to see one
Great instructional video !
Nice video and skills..
You are a true master 👍👍
Where do you get your handles from? Old chipping hammer?
Alan, do you do this because round doors want to spring too much?
Yes, sometimes but some people just like the look of it
Looks good Allen. What about a fire box. I'm a retired welder of a 40 year career in the Houston area. I have built 28 or so pits my self.
It's a grill, not a smoker.
Thanks for the tip brother👊👊👊
Your the best brother!
Good job bro
Real good work always!
how about a vid doing a fire box on a old propane tank bbq pit, mine has a 8 x 8 square hole in the side and im looking to add a fire box, cant control heat the way it is
Your video help me a lot thank you bro
Allen, how do you like using a plasma cutter? You seem to be just as accurate as you are with a cutting torch.
Hi There everyone, Allen where do you get the body of the bbq... what kinda tank is that?
Question how do you cleann the inside if it has lota of gunk
Use a wire wheel and burn it out
Very nice
very nice
How do u like that HTP welder
Love it! One of the best machines I’ve used
C'est très bien ce que tu fais
Were building one just like it and got it to tight and the door would not open.
Thanks that give me some great ideals. Bought a 500 gallon propane tank. Its 18ft long, and begging to be turned into a big offset smoker.
A 500 gallon tank is not anywhere near 18 feet long. They're 120" long, that's 10 feet. Even a 1,000 gallon is not 18 feet long.

nice job. i hope you get the consulting help you need to increase business and not burn out. thanks
What is the price when is done?
The price of what? That grill was a few years ago
Thanks Allen
Either you're born with this ability or you're not and you are a master at your craft just like Bruce Lee was born to be the best martial artist
Thumbs up bro... 😎👍
If I was to take you a air tank how much would you charge me
Upgraded to a plasma cutter. Fast, quick and in a hurry.
Good Work! What's the advantage of a square door vs just using the part of the tank you cut out for the door? Bigger Grates?
Nice
I want one of these
Sweet
Buetifull
thanks
👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎
👍
Have you ever used water heater tanks for builds?
🇹🇹🇹🇹🙏🙏❤❤
A pipe wrap would be easier...
Yes it would
It's kinda bad I spend 10 hours a day welding an come home and watch you weld up grills an smokers. Gonna have to try my hand at it here soon
cowboy kiss that wife for me she sure is pretty
