I recently wrote an essay on this movie for a groups dynamics class recently. My professor loved it thankfully and I got an A+, sooo monster house gets even more love now for being a good topic. I love this movie so much haha definitely a spooky classic in my house.
I swear Milo just knows you’re watching scary movies and just creeps you out to fuck with you 😂 Anyways such a good movie I forgot how a bit dark it is lol but Chowder is a comedic relief😅
My favourite thing about this movie is the just the way the house looks itself! And if you pay attention through the movie there’s subtle things it does that are amazing, like at 13:53 you see it open the blinds a tiny bit so it can see what’s going on
It's so fitting that Bones's death reminds you of Pennywise because the character design of Bones himself reminded me so of the character Patrick Hofstetter in the newer IT movie.
Little fun fact on the side: Constance is performed and voiced by none other than Kathleen Turner, who also voiced Jessica Rabbit in _"Who framed Roger Rabbit?"_
this movie is funny as hell a couple fun facts about this movie is that DJs mom is voiced by Catherine O Hara, Kevin’s mom in the first two home alone movies, and the fat cop is played by Kevin James, the dude that played Paul blart in both Paul blart mall cop movies
Heck yes i just watched it tonight again, and I LOVE IT for being a 2006 classic? Not bad at all,the animation is pretty good! Plus, there's a dark backstory oooh...
I don’t know how but I just now I learned that I’m the flash back when Constance died I thought a big boulder fell on her I’m not sure why maybe it was the noise it made me think of crushing
My favorite memory is putting the DVD into my computer and being able to play a real version of “Thou Art Dead” the arcade cabinet Bones is playing in the pizza place. It was a simple Ghosts and Goblins clone, but they made it and didn’t have to. Always thought that was cool.
As a fellow Australian, you are so real for bringing up the rent crisis lol Loved this reaction, Constance’s death is genuinely horrific no wonder she haunted the house 😂
Dude, folks talking about Coraline being the absolute horror movie for children but Monster House is pretty much upthere as well! Coraline leans more towards the subtile, eerie and creepy side. Monster House is just straight up horrifying I'm surprised at some of the shit they showed here 0_0 (LOVE both movies, don't get me wrong)
It was a very unique ride. Was working at a Regal theater at the time. Feels like Coraline took some inspiration from this and Pan's Labyrinth. At first Steve Buscemi's character feels like somebody you don't want to have anything to do with until the kid learns of what happened to Constance and expresses genuine concern. It reminds me a little bit of Anakin's redemption arc in Return Of The Jedi.
I adore this movie. I'd love to see a reaction to John Dies at the End. It's a film based off the first book of my absolute favorite book series (a fifth one is being written soon!) ever and I never see anyone react to it. It's definitely... a trip...
This is Harry Potter Special, We got a Hermione, Harry, Ron. It would have so cool for some trick or treaters kids to be dressed as them. And I love that Skull only love is his AWESOME Kite. He has high standards, doesn't he? 🥁
I used to watch this movie all the time as a kid especially around Halloween when it was on cartoon network it didn't really scare me as a kid but it did keep me entertained and I loved it and by the way you still need to watch Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island if you haven't already
I think I randomly rented this movie but I remember really liking it and my parents actually found it very funny as well. I was 15 when this came out so I would have watched this at least a year later. There are definitely funny moments in this movie. The dialogue is good. One thing that I distinctly remember is that Nick Cannon voices, one of the cops and I don't know why that is something in my memory, but it's there. I know this is a movie that I liked, however, I don't own it, which is now, very confusing to me. And I need to fix that.
The sad thing about Constance is that when they threw the tomato’s at her, she got PTSD from the audience throwing it at her too
I never connected the dots on that. that’s sad.
Makes a *lot* more sense when she says "They're *hurting* me!!"
She’s a very tragic character
Honestly it’s very understandable that she hated children and other people after being subjected to the abuse of being in a “freak” show
Dang- i honestly feel a bit bad for her but now she's a monster house oof...that's a tragic ending for someone's life.
Steve buschemi (the old man) is always such a great actor even as a voice actor
Loved him in his comedy roles, but really fell on love with him in Boardwalk Empire! That was an AWESOME series!
I recently wrote an essay on this movie for a groups dynamics class recently. My professor loved it thankfully and I got an A+, sooo monster house gets even more love now for being a good topic. I love this movie so much haha definitely a spooky classic in my house.
This is still one of my favorite movies, it's so fun yet scary especially for a kids film
The moment after the house exploded and the camera pans to the whole nieghborhood, I said out loud "How tf no one here heard the explosion?!" lolol
I swear Milo just knows you’re watching scary movies and just creeps you out to fuck with you 😂
Anyways such a good movie I forgot how a bit dark it is lol but Chowder is a comedic relief😅
At 18:48 chowder said “Jenny, I’ve always loved you” 💀😭
Bro the knee grab mixed with that’s too funny 💀
My favourite thing about this movie is the just the way the house looks itself! And if you pay attention through the movie there’s subtle things it does that are amazing, like at 13:53 you see it open the blinds a tiny bit so it can see what’s going on
The way you can just come up with so many jokes and puns as often as you do is honestly a talent
Thank you 💖 I try my best!
4:08
Milo is in stalk mode. Your his prey. 🤣
22:43 I didn't realize it was her tears from the window eye
34:13 HELP I CACKLED SO HARDDD HEELPPPPP
34:08 Yooo a Dylan’s in trouble reference
It's so fitting that Bones's death reminds you of Pennywise because the character design of Bones himself reminded me so of the character Patrick Hofstetter in the newer IT movie.
4:16 I turned my head for a second right when this happened and thought it was a completely different video 😂
I am hyped that you are reacting to this movie. I first saw this movie when I was a kid and I liked it!
Little fun fact on the side: Constance is performed and voiced by none other than Kathleen Turner, who also voiced Jessica Rabbit in _"Who framed Roger Rabbit?"_
10:26 wait has alex done any of the It movies? I'd love to see him watch Tim Curry's pennywise and then Bill Skarsgards
Another amazing puggapillar video
this movie is funny as hell
a couple fun facts about this movie is that DJs mom is voiced by Catherine O Hara, Kevin’s mom in the first two home alone movies, and the fat cop is played by Kevin James, the dude that played Paul blart in both Paul blart mall cop movies

Mans life fr shined before his èyes at that movie intro
This is such an underrated Halloween movie, I love how after learning what’s really going on so many scenes become recontextualized
As a fellow Australian, you are so real for bringing up the rent crisis lol
Loved this reaction, Constance’s death is genuinely horrific no wonder she haunted the house 😂
If they ever make this a live action ( they better not ) but if they did Steve buschemi better be playing his character because I love him
Awesome reaction of my favorite Halloween movie!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊

30:03 Her name is Jenny. Z is the babysitter. 💀💀💀
I would love to hear people’s thoughts on this movie!! This movie is childhood nostalgia!

I remember seeing this at the drive-in theater for my 9th birthday.. it was a pretty terrifying movie but still nostalgic
22:24 the fucking what
You Know Kevin James Is In This
This and Coraline were my absolute favorites as a kid :)
This movie is my childhood. Never did I think I’d see the day you’d react to it 🥲❤️
I remember watching this on dvd as a kid and being terrified
Same
I was in 6th grade :) remembered this movie on the schoolastic bookstore in the libraries. Good times.
This movie was actually freaky when I was a kid 😂 the part where the house phones him 😬🤣
THIS IS MY FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MOVIE. CHOWDER IS THE GOAT 🐐
At 6:13 he says “stay away from her”
The concept art for this movie is even scarier than the actual movie
I remember as a kid going through all the extras and seeing the concept art
I used to watch this all the time once I eventually stopped screaming at my mom to turn it off every time Nebbercracker showed up on the screen 😭
You should check out “ surfs up” 🔥🔥🔥
33:13
🎃I miss being a kid on Halloween. 🎃
One of my favorite childhood movies
I adore this movie.
I'd love to see a reaction to John Dies at the End. It's a film based off the first book of my absolute favorite book series (a fifth one is being written soon!) ever and I never see anyone react to it. It's definitely... a trip...

This is Harry Potter Special, We got a Hermione, Harry, Ron. It would have so cool for some trick or treaters kids to be dressed as them. And I love that Skull only love is his AWESOME Kite. He has high standards, doesn't he? 🥁
I used to think Nebbercracker was scarier than the house when I was younger.
I used to watch this movie all the time as a kid especially around Halloween when it was on cartoon network it didn't really scare me as a kid but it did keep me entertained and I loved it and by the way you still need to watch Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island if you haven't already
Better to think of them as droppings rather than seeds.
The intro killed me😭😭💀. Ngl this movie was kinda creepy but the style bumped that up a lot

He looks good for 27 I honestly thought he was 19
3:37 Sounded like Beetlejuice.
Why was Constance in a frickin cage!?
I feel like this could have been a better live action remake to make then how to train your dragon
Milo being creepy. 🤣

Hello ❤
I've seen this reaction days but didn't comment. This movie is entertaining. I'm an adult but don't mind watching an animated movie. 😄
Alex, watch another good Halloween kids movie Hotel Transylvania (2012). One of my favorite childhood classics growing up. 😁
Scary godmother both movies
