Thank you for this video. It was the only one I could find telling me how to use this tool to put on pants. It had the added bonus of how to put on shirts!

I guess we can see we are working with normal people. Wish we would show real people that really use it and see how it works. He bent over to pick his pants up, he has full range of his left arm with his shirt. He also has full range of all his joints UE and LE. Just pointing out what I already know and see where videos don't really show a person that has a problem that can use it. Jaded, I know.

@Amy L I am a PT that got hurt at work 4 months ago and just had a micro discectomy on L3 and was trying to see how to use all the items that my counter parts use in OT. But now I got the hand of it and see how each assistive device can be useful. As for you! Not having B UE , you are some one they should pay to study to find new devices and re design half of the things that are out there. They just keep making the same tool for the same purpose with out input. Like wheel chairs...... seen a new on about 6 months ago. The still have the same problems as the old ones did.

@Amy L well, who knows, might have time with my current situation in L3 nerve impingement and had surgery and no response with quads returning at this time. Might hit you up for design ideas and what works in real world, as using a grabber, dressing stick and a 3in1 toilet. None of them work well, they just kinda work. And the break easy.

@Amy L I will get back to you on this. My ex wife is an OT and I am a PT. Zips, meaning dresses , bras and blouses that have zippers on the back side and unable to zip up and then spin them on the body. Let me work a little on that one.

@Amy L just a little info, full use of lower extremities? I am guessing highly functional and flexible. You are able to get the clothing on and unable to zip up and most items can't be put on backwards, then zipped and the turned around. Again, you said female thing and I am good with figuring things out. Zippers need to be waxed and in good shape to make a simple long term fix to this issue. Wish you lived close, I would love to figure this out in real time. Love problems, can usually fix most everything. Or come close

@Amy L OK, so still working on this, velcro and hooks, velcro on the wall with velcro hooks at different heights ( high, medium, low) , dress has the other side of the velcro attached to the zipper pull ( the soft side of the velcro), hope so far this makes sense. Lean back against wall till soft side hits wall side of velcro and you perform a squat that will pull up zipper that should work well and waxed. I have been working on it in a door way where your shoulder blades, can create a "V" to the jam of the door with the velcro attached. Think I need to make a video when I am able. Currently unable to bend, lift or twist for another 4 weeks. I am still working.

the video show him almost reaching to his toes with his hand lol. You don't need a dressing stick if you can do that.

Thanks for watching! Although the person in the video does not require a dressing stick we hope you were able to find the information useful!

@@Binsons1953 No the video is not helpful to me or the millions of people who can NOT reach to their knees, let alone their shins. If I could reach like the dude in the video or was flexible like him. I wouldn't be looking for tools to help me help myself. Sorry but I'm offended by you being completely oblivious to your target audience and customers.

My comment was the same as Blakes. Do not use able bodied people for your demonstration. I learnt nothing.
