  • BIYO Art Workshop for Inclusivity, a transformative initiative that centered around differently abled students from Legazpi City National High School. This workshop, organized by JCI Legazpi Dawani in collaboration with JCI Manila and Legazpi City National High School, aimed to provide these students with an inclusive platform to explore their artistic talents and foster a sense of belonging within the community.
Throughout the workshop, the participants were guided by the expertise and support of the featured artist, Djai Tanji. Djai's artistic prowess and dedication played a significant role in inspiring and empowering the students to embrace their creative abilities.
The workshop focused on creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where the students could freely express themselves through various art forms. Through hands-on sessions, the participants had the opportunity to explore different artistic techniques, experiment with different mediums, and develop their artistic skills under the guidance of experienced mentors.
To celebrate the culmination of their artistic journey, a Red Parade was organized a week after the workshop. The Red Parade showcased the vibrant and captivating artworks created by the differently abled students. It served as a testament to their talent, resilience, and unique perspectives. The parade not only provided a platform for the students to proudly display their creations but also allowed them to experience the joy of being recognized and appreciated by a wider audience.
The artworks from the BIYO Art Workshop for Inclusivity were further highlighted in a Fashion Show held at Ayala Malls. This exhibition not only celebrated the students' creativity but also challenged societal norms and perceptions by showcasing the artistic achievements of differently abled individuals.
The BIYO Art Workshop for Inclusivity, with its Red Parade and Fashion Show, stands as a shining example of how art can be a powerful tool to promote inclusivity and empower individuals from all walks of life. Through this initiative, JCI Legazpi Dawani, JCI Manila, Djai Tanji, and all those involved have made a positive and lasting impact on the lives of the differently abled students of Legazpi City National High School, fostering a more inclusive and accepting community.
