Never ever ever EVER chain anything after your own dark ruler no more. Wait for it to resolve, or you will allow your opponent to activate monsters effects in response to that other things you're chaining. For instance if there is a hot red on your opponent's field and you make that kind of play, hot red will be able to negate your DRNM.
Why didnt that unchained player remain on an unchained board that basicaly floats till you win? Why all theaepeople think that combo asap is the way to win?
Typically to chain block in case the opponent had a spell or trap effect that would negate Dark Ruler, tho in this scenario I'm guessing they just clicked it cuz they could.
@@spiderknight217 Last I checked you can't chain block a normal spell card because priority always shifts to the opponent when you activate it. Only time you get to chain block is when two actions have to occur simultaneously, for example like when you Synchro Summon Chixiao using Swordsoul of Mo Ye.
@@marktwayne9796 exactly, if the opponent had for example a trap that could stop dark ruler they would be allowed to used before you can chain emergency teleport (and if it were a counter trap, you could only respond with another counter trap, not even emergency teleport).
