    Problem with buying a UTV from a motorcycle shop is they will rip you off on service. I was about to buy a Honda 1000-3 the service dept with a straight face told me "the first service appt on the utv would cost $800". I left and bought a Kubota 850 sidekick.

    Just bought a lightly used 2021 700 deluxe 3 wks ago with 32 hrs and 260 miles, and love it. It has never been in the mud, came with dual batteries, windshield, hard top, 4k winch, led lights, heavy duty trailer, and a warranty with more 10 months. I put a 50" light bar on the front and rear lights for pig hunting here in Texas. Thank you for your video - don't see too many videos on used UTVs. Great presentation!

    I just pulled the trigger and bought a 2014 Pioneer from my local dealer. The transmission was replaced this year by the dealer (at 11k miles 😯no less). All the wheel bearings, tie rod ends, axles, shocks, etc.. are still in good shape. Like yours, it looks like it didn't see much heavy off-road use. And very little rust. Set up just like yours but with the upper half doors installed. I immediately took the doors off and I like it even more, although I haven't used it in any water or mud. I wound up getting it for $5500 because of the mileage, but it still works great!! Like you, I find the operation a bit noisy, and the upper doors made it worse, so removing them seems like the right choice for me. I wish you the best of luck. Like you, I've had good luck with Hondas in the past. Hopefully it will be a wise investment. Congratulations on your new work vehicle (which is what mine will be), and Happy New Year.

    I bought a new 2019 Deluxe and have nothing but good things to say about it, it'll plow all winter and play all summer. If you need a speed buggy the P700 isn't your machine but if you want a pack mule that'll carry and pull big loads while also being easy on fuel, then this is your rig.

    Really nice that you found a clean used one. Obvious pro is the transmission. I've been contemplating the Kawasaki mule pro-mx 700, the obvious difference would be the CVT.

    • @7StandsFarm
      @7StandsFarm  Рік тому +1

      I have friends that have the Kawasaki mule and they have had great service from it but it has the CVT belt which I personally don’t like but they do make a great machine so I can’t say anything bad it is just my preference

    I traded my P700 for an RMAX and I love it. BUT... If I was doing farming, trapping, hunting, fencing, or any other type of utility work, I would 100% choose the Pioneer 700. It's easy to get on and off. The torque converter is the absolute best for towing or climbing. The bench seat is really comfortable. Anybody can drive it. It can weave through the tightest trails. And, as long as you're not doing jumps, it's a fun trail machine. The only reason to get the P1000 instead would be if you drive a lot on pavement since the 700 has no rear diff.

      Would the 700 get damaged due to driving on pavement?

    • @StarDustMoonRocket
      @StarDustMoonRocket 26 днів тому

      @@brandonschmidt76 No, but it chews up tires. The 1000 actually turns shorter than the 700 or any other machine on the market. But the 700 is a fantastic machine for working or playing.

    Can't go wrong with a Honda. If your viewers are looking for a new unit, CFMOTO uforce 600 and 1000 are a good value. Kabota's are nice but just cost too much. We paid $15k out the door with our ag exemption. it came with winch, roof, alloy wheels, 3 person seat and skid plates.

      Looking at buying one soon the more I look the more I’m coming to the Honda 700. Was originally looking at the Polaris Ranger but the belts vs having a driveshaft and real gear transmission is the difference for me.

    I think I'm buying a new one but I just want bare bones. No bumper or any windshield. Just a bed to haul stuff around small acreage and get some things done. From what I hear that 700 engine has been around forever. I wanna buy once cry once. For light duty this should probably last me the rest of my years. Any concerns so far?

    • @7StandsFarm
      @7StandsFarm  6 місяців тому

      I have not had any problems with mine at all and i love it would buy it again the 700 has tremendous power all you need around the farm for shure but let me suggest one thing if you can afford it i would recommend the windshield and top if i did nothing else. like you say buy once cry once. ask your dealer about putting after market top and windshield on it and not use all Honda parts they work just as good but much cheaper

      I chose the used Honda because it was in my budget and the Kubota had increased in price by 3000 in a year
