great review - do you like the brown and gold colors? You said it represents Africa ground and its prosperity, but when you get on the plane the colors - in my opinion - make the plane look outdated and worn. Just wanted to see what you thought.

Hellooooo! Thank you for your nice comment. I didn't expect to find myself on ASKY to be honest. Fate took me on this ASKY ride (pun unintended) and definitely it is my calling to show it to the world. But service onboard is friendly and cabin crew are very down-to-earth, and meals are generous. Just don't mind the worn interior an multi-stop flights. Happy weekend as well!
i liked this report a lot, i'd like you to go until Johannesburg so that i could follow the entire flight till the last destination. Keep on with your work and trips.
What exactly is a freedom flight? Are u leaving Murtala Muhammad airport in Lagos? I will be traveling there to Lagos in December. Many natives and international travelers said they've had problems with Lagos airport (M.M) employees bribing them, did u experience that?
The worst day because of Hong Kong airlines I had gone to the airport prior booking the tickets. I was told I could go to my own country. I mean I have a travel document. What else is needed. Today my flight day I had a feeling I would be delayed so I went to the airport early. I was among the first people to line up for checking in at 09hrs Beijing time. A few were checked in and it was my time. Only to be sidelined and had to wait for confirmations. I watched everyone else being checked in while I waited. The rest of checking in even finished at 11:30. The only feedback I had was they were waiting for confirmation from South African airlines. I was asked to change flights or book other routes when I didn’t have extra money. I had to cancel my tickets and only got 50% refund. For a poor student like me, it has cost me so much more that just the 50% ticket fare. I got a leave from school to handle challenges at home. Now I can’t be of help to my family in need. I have lost school time as well. All because I was asked to wait for confirmations of a sure thing. Hong Kong airlines only confirmed at 18hrs that I could travel with the documents I had when it was to late. Imagine the damage caused. What am I to do now? help me share my experience

Brilliant video! Nice to see what ASKY has to offer. Not sure about the free seating though, as it can be both good and bad for avgeeks like us =P
