I think you really ought to take a second look at DJ's competition. Dodson has wins over TJ, Munhoz, and Nathaniel Wood, all while up a weight class. And DJ has 2 wins over him. Kyoji Horiguchi fought up a weightclass and won belts in Bellator and Rizin, and his only losses that he didn't win back were a). a fluke spinning back fist from a guy he was dominating, and b). getting backpacked in a david and goliath style fight where he was vastly outsized at bantamweight. Benavidez is that guy at flyweight, close decisions with Cruz, Cejudo, DJ himself, and all the while firmly setting himself over the lesser guys like Formiga, Elliot, Moraga, Bagautinov, and Ortiz.

Khabib being called the goat of anything because of no losses always makes me laugh. Dude retired early as hell. If every champ retired after 3 title defenses there would be a lot of undefeated champions by now. Also jones is overrated. From 2013 or so onward he only fought DC as his list of great fighters. But its fair to say anyone at LHW right now would need probably 5-7 more, because that division is still pretty trash overall.

I think you really ought to take a second look at DJ's competition. Dodson has wins over TJ, Munhoz, and Nathaniel Wood, all while up a weight class. And DJ has 2 wins over him.
Kyoji Horiguchi fought up a weightclass and won belts in Bellator and Rizin, and his only losses that he didn't win back were a). a fluke spinning back fist from a guy he was dominating, and b). getting backpacked in a david and goliath style fight where he was vastly outsized at bantamweight.

Khabib being called the goat of anything because of no losses always makes me laugh. Dude retired early as hell. If every champ retired after 3 title defenses there would be a lot of undefeated champions by now.
Also jones is overrated. Most of his notable wins were against guys at the end of their career, or people that just aren't in any goat arguments. His only real "great" win is DC. From 2013 or so onward he only fought DC as his list of great fighters.
But its fair to say anyone at LHW right now would need probably 5-7 more, because that division is still pretty trash overall.
Jones beat everyone out in front of him though, he beat the best guy in the division 16 times in 5 round bouts. The division is trash just like heavyweight but if Tom aspinall beat Gane, Almeida and blaydes back to back you have to put him high on the pfp list even though none of those guys are up there.

Topuria beating a 35 year old Volk and saying he was old is looking at things in hindsight.
