I got a 10 weeks old corgi puppy! | here's my first month with her

- I've been wanting a corgi for a long time now and I can't believe it finally happened! I decided to name my 10 weeks old corgi (now 14 weeks old) corgi, Dashi. The name came to me randomly while I was making dashi eggs, and I thought to myself - "dashi? dashi sounds.. really cute. and the color of the corgi's fur is somewhat similar to dashi.. hmmm, Dashi it is!".
Fast forward now, it's been a month since I got Dashi and I can't find the right words to describe my feelings. Even though it has been a crazy, emotional, and stressful month since her arrival... I do have to admit that I'm so happy to have this bundle of joy in my life.
Happy one month of gotcha day, Dashi. Love you so much. & huge thank you to everyone for helping me in the process :')

My corgi pup, Egon, is one of the greatest joys of my life. He's almost 9 months and he has added so much fullness to my and my fiancee's lives. Corgis are one of the best companions you can get. So excited for you!
Congrats I had my first corgi love at first sight for 15 yrs . I now have 3 corgis they are now 5 6 7 years old . 💕💕💕
My dear Molly is gone now, but I have so many wonderful memories of her and her brother as puppies. Enjoy every moment and I wish you long life and many adventures. CORGIS ARE THE BEST.

Pl clean your let's ears as much as you look after his teeth. My dog Jixsaw spent 13 years of happy life with me. My heart is filled with emotions that he pretty much had a blessed life

I got my corgi, Frankie, last August (2020) at 10 weeks! Wouldn't change anything! He is a little bit of a wild child. He was my third choice of the litter (the other ones were purchased by the time I made my decision), but he has enhanced and changed my life and love of dogs since!! Corgis are the best!!

Awww SO kawaii im crying😭🤚❤️❤️! However I have one suggestion! The crate is supposed to feel like a safe home base for them so I would recomend putting her bed (or just a big poofy one) in there and maybe a blanket on top to make it seem cozy!

I have had my corgi 3 years, getting another one in 4 weeks!! So sweet, smart, can be a bit stubborn though! Gotta love our Corgi's

@@Pessimiist It’s part of the breed standard. It doesn’t hurt them, it’s done by the day there 3 days old.
It’s mainly for working dogs, but can also be for pet dogs. Plus some are born without tails.
Plus the owner couldn’t tell the breeder not to, cause until there 5-8 weeks old, breeders typically wait to see which puppy matches which lifestyle!

Corgi best dog
I can’t even get a Corgi yet lol.
But I found the perfect breeder near me, made a whole Amazon list of future things I’d need/want.
Been researching the breed a lot again, (I researched a lot 3 years ago.) And watching people get there’s.
The reason I cannot get one yet is due to having a dog aggressive dog right now.
I love my boy right now, but for my next dog I really want a socialized predictable puppy.

Corgis are the best. We have had 3. You think you are training them, but they are training you. Its like the Borg. You will comply eventually. Way smarter than most of their owners.

You have to training any dog pretty much, it’s very important.

We have had our female Corgi puppy for 1.5 months now. She's magical 😁 ...but very stubborn. Learned multiple commands easily (her name, come, sit, stay, paw, no), but she'll completely ignore all of this a lot of the time. Then she's back and responds to all commands again. Is this the same with all Corgi puppies? Will their cooperation improve as they get older?
Dashi does the same sometimes too. She gets sassy and only do certain tricks/command when she knows she is getting a treat. She's now 7 months old, I'll keep you posted to see if she improves over time haha

Fyi-although corgis can be stubborn in general, females tend to be more so than males. More independent as well.

@@st4849 One thing I forgot to mention. If your female corgi is not fixed, they CAN become more aggressive over time. In addition, they get more stubborn when they are in heat.

I have a Corpup, her name is Talula, and seeing the similarity of how Dashi acts the way she does in this vlog is so surprising. From the sniffing, to the scratching, to the way she sleeps! It's so weird. I feel like I'm watching Talula live on a different house! Hahahaha
