@kosmu4567 my hair isn't clean, so ik it isn't slipping out because of any hair products that makes the hair slippery. I thought it was because my hair is thick, but I see a lot of Indian women does this hairstyle and their hair is often as thick as mine and maybe even thicker, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong lol. I'm able to make the bun but the moment I move my head, it comes undone. Like I did it just now, and it once again undid itself the moment I let go of it
@@GalaxyofArt I think if you succeed to make it but it doesn't last, theb it is not tight enough. In this case, I would try with my hair just a bit wet and making the bun too much tight at the beginning to find the good way
@@kosmu4567 weird. So it has to be tight? Whenever I do it tight, I'm unable to push the hair through the loop, and when I do manage to do it, it still falls out. How long are these buns supposed to last?
@@GalaxyofArt it has to be as tight as when you use an elastic to make a poneytale (tight but not painful). I did mine when I made my first comment, it's been 4 hours and I think it can still last a few more hours. It's like a regular bun.
@@pasta_girltry a bun pillow/donut hair maker. Not sure how it is called in english. But trust me, it's the most easy way to put your hair back. Maybe you can try that
@@mirabellenbaum8233 i tried looking it up but all i could find was the donut-shaped stuffer girls use to create a bun. not sure if you meant in general as i have to "switch up" what I use at home to avoid irritation and future alopecia, but I was hoping for a solution when I have no hair ties in public etc. 🥲

This hair is dyed and dry. It has lost its natural oils, and even if you hudrate it, it will fade its moisture. But undyed hair doez not stay. And mine is thick (according to the ppl around me, even when my 7 y/o has way more thick amd heavier hair) and will laugh at this.

Thanks! This helped out when I forgot my hair tie on a hot summer day. It took a few tries but I got it to stay up!
