@@marklinford2512 You cannot tell thats the problem The old 2 tones were 1000% better and you could hear them These stupid ones now at 70mph you don't hear them till they are right behind you they are NFFP

Nice XC90s. Fun fact, as of 2024-02-17 not a singel person has died in accident with an XC90 (second generation, released in 2015), with 850 thousand card on the roads.
Plenty of new Volvo SUVs, Volvo the main choice for police after BMW stepped down by announcing that they would no longer be supplying UK Police forces earlier this year.
@@yamahass66 very good question. Depending on who you choose to believe there are 2 explanations but only one is correct. According to the UK Police BMW diesel engines keep going on fire and are therefore flawed. However, there have been stories in the past of the same thing happening with Volvos as well. The real reason is the way that 90% of police officers drive the cars, the engine is switched on at the start of their shift and you are lucky if it's ever completely switched off for any real length of time during the whole 8 hours of their shift, so it's not really rocket science that the cars are going to end up catching fire especially when they are given no real opportunity to cool down - not that you would ever get a police officer to accept responsibility for their actions. BMW has obviously got pissed off at UK police forces bad-mouthing their vehicles without genuine reason, not the first time BMW has withdrawn They did the same thing with the makers of James Bond movies after a Z3 cabtiolet was sawn in half in The World is not Enough.😖😠☹
@@DavidDouglass-uc6bi not sure exactly, you might be right. But I do know that it was the police officers who were driving the vehicles fault that the engines were going on fire and nothing whatsoever to do with BMW.
@neilburns8869 Thats bmw for you never taking responsibility. I also belive volvo is much more comfy to work in. They often win this part along officers. Never seen on news in Sweden volvo police cars burning due to electrical faults or engine problems. Tried google it but can't find any.
At home when you hear the fire appliance sitting on its horn going, you know some idiot hasnt pulled over into the lane the lane the appliance isnt in.
I seen something similar to this in Manchester near to Openshaw yesterday. 3 armed response and an unmarked in a tight convoy going down the wrong side of the road then a little further on another normal police and an unmarked coming from the opposite direction. My guess would be a high speed chase of someone with a firearms marker on their car. Not seen any confirmed shootings in the news. UK has become lawless
I wonder when all the control mechanisms are removed by the Ancestors, will they be screeching around like that in Volvos or trying to hide from their eradication from a power far greater that comes soon.
Im ex Australian copper, we dont have devices that control traffic lights....I've actually been fined whilst in a police vehicle, for running a yelow/red without a reasonable excuse as I wasn't attending job. If we had this tech...I wouldn't be getting fine, believe me.
Queensland has had emergency vehicle priority (EVP) technology for almost a decade now. I don't know about other states and territories. Whilst it is being rolled out very slowly, many Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) vehicles have them as a standard installation, even though they may not be located in EVP activated areas. www.tmr.qld.gov.au/safety/road-safety/emergency-vehicle-priority This is clearly demonstrated as a single solid small green light above the registration plate of the QAS ambulance featured in the emergency ambulance response video: ua-cam.com/video/mdyGI5fP4sM/v-deo.htmlsi=phA4wBt_qO3OGMvY
Is it just me or do the English police respond or “drive” much faster than other countries, namely America? Def not saying it’s a bad thing but am I right?
I find it alwasy funny how drivers clig up the roads with their personal little and fat SUVS and small forward thinking / vision and then still expect the emergency services to serve them.
I thought that was just Ken Oxford with Merseyside , He took them away from our Pandas around 78 or 79 when I joined Merseyside police.@@dragonemergencyvideos
Can't believe I sat through over 14mins listening to everytype of 1st Response Vehicles, I think I might do well on Mastermind ☘️lol, great clips at start with 4/5 marked & unmarked Volvo ARU
there’s no RL camera on that junction, and they were both clearly acting with good intent so even if there was it would be thrown out of court - absolutely not in the public interest to prosecute
I think all high viz marking and uniform should only be worn at traffic problems and crashes! Why telegraph your coming! And Bobby's on the beat no high viz catch far more criminals ! That's what it was like back in the 60's 70's! A big copper use to step out and stop you and was able to chase and catch you if need be not like some of the porker morbidly obese dwarfs we have now just out of uni!! you didn't see them stood near a dark building or tree, especially with the tall helmets!far better than being spotted a mile away! high viz vehicles and uniforms ! More unmarked cars and more officers no high viz! Catch scum in the act !!
Oh dear! Cars at 3:30 going through red lights because there's a police car on blues behind them. They should only have moved when the lights turned green.
Anyone else miss the 2 tones on the fire engine, they sound exactly the same as ambulance now which is depressing 😢
They have two tones on every oir most fire engine sbut they dont use then iften
I hear merseyside using two tones quite often
They still have 2 tone fitted they say the other tones are easier to tell which direction they are coming from

Man this guy needs more credit
Watching this makes you realise how thick/oblivious some drivers really are when hearing sirens and majority are clueless!!
Hear them loads were we are and often used unlawfully,so might be why
The ARV's be flying!

These scania trucks are so nice
Really nice lights! Especially on the unmarked Volvo 🤩

those volvos be taking that corner like it's Eau rouge

the previous European siren sound system is way better than the existing U.S. law enforcement inspired siren sound alert system . . .
I wish America had the color scheme of the UK patrol cars the bright orange green checker board. Not the black white scheme.
Those shots in Tref were good, you were right by Ponty Fire-station, did you catch any appliances ? Great to see new content btw 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The green lights on each side of the front number plate of the police BMW at 5:00. Are they for changing the traffic lights, as in Australia?
They're blue lights on the side of the number plate surround, they only look green as they're reflecting against the fluorescent colouring of the car

Now they all go back to the station to eat Haribos😮
A quick question:
Which emergency service do you prefer?
😊
Police responding rapidly.? That can't be England.
True
it’s not England
Did they traded all the Bimmers voor de Volvo's again?
They had to be on their way to Bonnie bank cause down the road where I live there was someone that had a gun
Is it just me or do the English police respond or “drive” much faster than other countries, namely America? Def not saying it’s a bad thing but am I right?
It depends on the seriousness of the incident.
How many cops to change a light bulb 💡
6:59 imposter !
On their way to an auditor filming something.
You need them all!
Why do they have such nice cars but so extremely cheap sounding sirens?
The "new" cars were over a year old at that point
Surprised they didn’t break down. Terrible reliability
where there is one the rest of them follow ...
Wouldn't pay them in washers

there not armed police cars because they would have yellow circles on windshield and rear windshield
All the gear still no idea
