With the dual stick controls, each stick represents one of your feet. You will need to learn how to control them and transfer weight, just like on a real skateboard. The physics have been developed with a focus on realism, smoothness and immersion. Just like in real life for a new skateboarder, the first hours can seem challenging, but once you have mastered the technique, you will feel the unrivalled thrill of pulling off your very first kickflip! Session: Skate Sim also includes full options customization, so you can enjoy the perfect experience tailored to you. A full tutorial provides all the help you need to get started, and you can choose from four difficulty levels!
THE 1990S AND SKATE CULTURE
Inspired by the golden age of street skating - the 1990s - Session: Skate Sim lets you experience true skateboarding and its culture: no scoring system; just you, your spot and your imagination! There's no need for judges to tell you that your noseslide or varial heelflip are perfect for this spot. And because certain locations are iconic, the developers have added several of them to the game for you to skate in and express your creativity, including Black Hubbas (New York City), Brooklyn banks (New York City), FDR Park (Philadelphia) and many other spots.

Skating and pulling off the best lines in the best spots is one thing, but if no one is there to film it, it didn't really happen… In Session: Skate Sim, you can film with a 1990s filter or fisheye lens, and you can use the video editor to create your clips and share them. You can play with multiple options, including changing the field of view, time of day, filters, and different camera views (tripod, orbit, etc.). Session: Skate Sim also offers the chance to go from skater to filmmaker: pull off your moves then go into film mode to experience the action from the point of view of your camera operator and create the best clip.
CUSTOMIZATION
Show off your style with an extensive customization system for your skater and skateboard. By completing challenges, you earn money to spend in skate shops. You can find nearly 200 items (hoodies, shoes, caps, T-shirts, trousers, etc.) from top brands, such as Fallen, Zero, GrindKing, Thankyou, HIJINX Net, Antilanta, Roger Skate CO, No-Comply, iDabble and others. You can also customise your skateboard with over 250 parts, such as wheels, trucks and many other components from famous brands like, No-Comply, GindKing, Thankyou and many others. In addition to the design aspect, the components (trucks, riser pads, wheels…) impact the way you skate. Find the right ones for your style and shred the most iconic spots!

The only thing I really don’t like about session is how switch and fakie don’t look any different from regular and nollie. Skater XL did that really well in my opinion.

The whole point is they are suppose to look the same, once you’re really good. Switch isn’t really suppose to look different.
Check out your forward foot while you’re pushing. Natural compared to switch has a definite difference. Maybe try turning unique on if it’s off. And turn global off too. I dunno, but the difference is there. A setting to make the skater look All Natural is kinda cool. I’ve only met a few people that come close to having an indistinguishable switch and natural or an all natural style
Agreed. Messed w all those settings! Those two mainly make some catch’s to grinds way better. Works for hippy flips too!!

Yes! This is how I can get some steezy flips with pocket combinations. Wild how these settings need to be found and explored not just explained on start.

i have always use sideways jumping as a tool for making my flips look different , there is also a cool trick with sideway jumping into switch nosegrinds making them look cooler , or switch 50

the difference between the kickflips crooks is you caught the flip on one and not the other
The flip it does look way better/realistic. The catch and tweak of the kickflip looks perfect.

Hey speeds! I found that setting a few months ago and it does help with the look...However, does anyone..ANYONE AT ALL, know what the Extra Scoop slider does? I can't figure out what it effects.
It gives a tiny bit of shuv rotation. I show it in my stats video uploaded around a week ago. If you go off a giant building and have extra scoop slider all the way up, you can sidejump a kickflip and after a couple of kickflips it should have spun a shuv too. A tricky way to get varial quad flips and stuff like that.
Honestly....they just need to add experimental grabs back into the game...that would be nice.
Hey NS ive been playing session on switch for about a week and i saw some of your vids and may i ask how in the world do yuo skate on vert like that so if you already made a vid about it ill try to find it cause some vids arent really helping me cheers!
I dont skate vert in Session haha. JL Nightmare has some tutorials on transition skating though :)

What setting gets treflips looking so good? I’ve been trying to mess around with it but can’t get that normal looking finish
Sync flips in board flip settings
backfoot slightly in the pocket and then I like to rotate a bit fs in the air and as you catch go bs back to land straight :)
Animations still need a major overhaul....looks so stiff
Are these maps only for pc and not console? I have Xbox ns
PC only. Creature have no plans to add Community maps, clothes, gear or anything we make to Console.
I hope this game gets some animation fixes. Really the only thing that turns me off of it.

Lately there is no news and no updates on this game. This game will fade away eventually. I hardly remember the last time I played this game. It's been more than a year for sure. Same situation for Skater XL too.
It’s because they are focused on porting the game to un real engine 5, it will open so many new doors once that’s achieved
They’re cooking, I trust the devs unlike Easy Day.
